Eventbrite

Purchased tickets for two different events on EventBrite. I drove to the location and both locations were closed! These events were on two separate days. I attempted to contact Eventbrite for a refund and they said I must contact the organizer. There is no information to contact the organizer on one and the other has not responded. I found the organizer for the Sip & Paint event on facebook and she has yet to reach back out to me. I am going to contact my bank to see if I can dispute the charges. What a waste?! I feel bad because I invited a friend to attend a 2024 vision board party with me. We rushed from dinner only to drive up to an empty parking lot and a closed business. I took pictures, but there is no one who cares. I will definitely not use this site again! If you do choose to use EventBrite please verify that the event is going to be located at the address listed. I included a picture of the closed business of the nights I pulled up to them. I went back to EventBrite and the 2024 Vision party organizer listed another Vision party for January 13th. BUYER BEWARE!

I bought tickets for an event in Miami and when I got there they told me that it was a scam and I had to buy the tickets again.
When I complained about it with evenbrite they were extremely rude and said that I was laying lol
Just terrible! Save your money and time

Paid 90$ for a vip couples ticket. Event opened 30 mins after start time. Ran out of the free liquor within 20 minutes. Didn't have anybody at coat check apon arrival after almost 3 hours they tried to charge 10$ for coat check. Litterally no seating if you didnt buy a booth 0/10 would save your money and stay at home

This app blows and they got me hot asf in reality. I ordered my ticket to a ski mask concert the day they went on sale, 3 months before the concert was set to take place. I received an email today saying that they are cancelling my order under suspicion of reselling? I have wanted to see ski mask since he canceled his last show in my city last year, and these imbeciles are making me spend an extra 40 bucks to get another ticket because of how much later it is. I for sure will not be using this trash site again and i personally recommend seat geek or something because eventbrite is not it at ALL.

I have attended on-line events regularly throughout lockdown but for the past several months haven't gotten any tickets to my e-mail in spite of site noting tickets have been sent as soon as booked. Some events go live on-line so I have managed to attend a couple but I now avoid booking paid events as I can't be certain of being able to access them. The site suggests incorrect e-mail address, a typo or checking spam folder if no ticket arrives. None of this applies and there's no way of contacting Eventbrite about this. Fed up trying to contact event organisers seperately and obviously annoying at their end if attendees appear to be not showing up. A shame because the on-line event content has really expanded but it's not reliably accessible.

Eventbrite allows posts for illegal events even when they are reports to be illegal to them. They allowed a post for an illegal, unpermitted party hosted by squatters in a foreclosed property. Despite numerous neighbor complaints to this business, they did not remove the advertisement from their site. They are still allowing unsuspecting people to purchase tickets to this illegal party run by criminals. They are furthermore placing the neighborhood in danger by allowing such things on their site.

Beware of this company. My event disappeared from my account even though eople can still buy tickets. I need to cancel the event because the main speaker canceled.

There is no tech support on the eventbrite site. They have so far not responded to email. Efforts to call them don't work as they put you on endless hold and then finally disconnect you without being able to leave a message.

As of now I consider Eventbrite a scam.

Eventbrite has been selling tickets for pro Hamas rallies across the country. These rallies are steeped with antisemitism. Racist rhetoric against people who are Jews.
When confronted with their antisemitism the owner becomes abusive and refuses to respond.
To be clear the rhetoric of the pro Hamas movement is reflective of the KKK rhetoric towards Jews.
If you wouldn't support a business sympathetic to the KKK then you shouldn't be sympathetic to the same rhetoric uttered by different people!
I will make it my mission to make sure everyone knows just who these bigots are!

Husband retired today got to the venue no one was the tickets were deceiving stating October 1 …. No update email nothing July 22 was the schedule show …. When I called recording said due to act of God (no storm nothing!) they have rescheduled October 1 but still are unsure of a venue! 1st and last time very disappointed! DON'T WAS YOUR MONEY…..

The NYE Party I attended that was put on by eventbrite was the worst NYE party I ever attended. The charges were ridiculously high fir the services provided. The food was the worst ever and they ran out of vodka and other liquor even before midnight. The DJ's and their music really sucked bad. I will never ever attend another event Brite event again.

Eventbrite owe me $600 for 4 ticket refunds for UTSS. Disgusting! A 100% Star Rating should be available! I've emailed over 5 times, no response! You put these good bands to shame! Totally UNAUSTRALIAN! Hope you sleep well at night ripping a single mum off and 100's of more Aussies! Pathetic! Karma will knock on your door!

This is a site that caters to scammers promoting fake events! I bought a ticket for Social Media Advertising Seminar supposed to be conducted by some Mr. Robert Reyes. I even called his number *******4499 and never got any reply after he told me that the event will be moved to a different date because of some venue problem. He sent me an invoice but when I paid full he did not send me the ticket. I tried calling and texting but he doesn't answer. Never use them. They allow unauthorized vendors to use their website to sell tickets then inform you last minute that your tickets are bad. Then, instead of giving you an instant refund, you have to file a claim.

We were unable to attend the Lights Under Louisville event. Tried to get a refund the same day as purchase. We never heard from this organizer after 4 emails. We followed the procedure on there website for refund and nothing! NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.
