Looking for islamic online events and to be confronted with an 'Secular Book Discussion about "The God Delusion" with Zoom' event is negligient at best and evil at worst.
Be careful of when searching on eventbrite for such content especially since they like to promote 'anti-religion' and other questionable ideologies on their site.
I ordered tickets on eventbrite to a show that got canceled the day before the show. I spent $121. I was sent an email stating I'd receive a refund in 3 days. Two weeks later I still hadn't gotten a refund. I sent an inquiry to eventbrite and they told me I wouldn't be getting a refund because it didn't quality for one. The show was canceled and not postponed. I paid money directly to eventbrite and not the organizer. Save your money and just don't use this company.
Glitchy to the point of uselessness. I've tried booking tickets on this dumpster-fire of a website on three different computers now. Each time I got a different problem, I'm now customer #billion on their customer service waitlist.
Why on earth would any event organizer make this the only way to buy tickets?
HORRIBLE Experience. Purchased tickets through Eventbrite to see Diplo at Echostage (Washington DC). The DJ never showed, and the site would not refund our money. Very poor customer service. Do not book/purchase tickets using this vendor.
This website is difficult to use on the business's side of ticket sales as well as the consumer's side. There is no shopping cart option so guests cannot sign up for multiple events at once which causes many guests to sign up for less. They also have no rhyme or reason to when they send checks (even if we have reoccurring checks). There is no way to edit multiple events at once or even see them in a calendar format. They updated and now the old events and the new events aren't compatible. Trying to find a way to leave eventbrite.
No monitoring or follow through to confirm legitimate events or products being sold. Scams carried out with no one caring.
I will never purchase another "event" from them again.
I've bought a ticket for a workshop titled "Start and Run a Successful Wearables Business" organized by a frauding company named Amexos. I went to the event and found out it has been a scam. They offered a wrong address and no contact number.
Eventbright hosted New Years eve party. San Mateo ca Marriott.
1) $60 per person so they packed people in like rats.
2) No in and out privileges so once in at 8pm you are stuck till 2am even though they actually patted you down before entering. (could have let you leave and patted you down when you came back)
3) Dehydrated from dancing and looking for water? 6 Bucks for 16 oz bottled water.
4) They actually wont let you have water unless you pay 6 Bucks for a bottled water.
Thats seem criminal to me.
Call the customer service phone number and you get message that everyone is on vacation. Tried to get information thru venue and they get no answers. Tried to convince venue to stop using Eventbroite because of all the customer complaimts, but they continue to use them, so now I boycott that venue!
Paid for an online event to Eventbrite, and e-tickets appeared correctly. However all log-on links to the event were NONFUNCTIONAL- Just asking me to buy tickets! In the ticket confirmation, email, same misroute to event. Tried to go on to email them, but once again around in a circle. No way to get assistance, to talk to the 'seller', etc. Have purchased Eventbrite tickets before, but never will again.
I cannot believe that in good faith I undertook the planning of my class reunion. I sold tickets to my fellow classmates through Eventbrite. After the event was full, I tried to withdraw the money and was told that they would send bi-weekly payments to me AFTER the event. I have to pay for the event, the night of the event! I do not have thousands of dollars to pay out. My classmates trusted me with this and NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? FInally I got a phony email saying if I upgraded and gave them another $2.00 per ticket and 2.5% of my sales they would start sending my bi weekly payments before the event. It is 3 weeks away! No one will answer the phone and I got one fake email. I will sue this company! DO NOT USE THEM!
I'm running an event -https://www.eventbrite.com/e/revere-70s-boomers-bash-ticketand I'm trying to set up an Advance Payout and I got a reply that it's down for maintenance.
How soon will it be up?
I left a message with customer service and I'm waiting for a response. From the reviews, it appears that they aren't very got at responding to their customers.
Your help with this matter would be appreciated.

I was purchasing tickets for New Years Eve at Prohibition in Vancouver BC and
Ended up purchasing tickets Prohibition Era New Years Eve party in Washington DC.
The information provided was sloppy and easily confused. I could only see the location when I printed the actual tickets. I contacted the organizer and Eventbrite via email immediately (within 5 minutes) with no response from either.
The only CLEAR issue is the NO REFUNDS in all caps.
Very disappointed. I am out over $200.00
I purchased 2 tickets for Electric Beach 2017, I received an email from Alexandra Larios *******@yourvitaminc.com. That the event was cancelled and I will be refunded for my tickets $77.90. Its been 1 1/2 months and still no refund. I have called and called and she never answers my phone calls. This is A SCAM! She is a horrible event promotor. I NEED MY MONEY!
Purchased a ticket for a Live yogic event which included a recording of the event.
The link to the event or any instructions never arrived!
After the event was over, the site said "the event is over"
Upon trying to reach the organizer (it's only the way how you contact anyone) the webpage was frozen trying to load with zero Messages going through.
No money, no live event only they offer me a recording to get in a couple of days.
I've never seen so unorganized place whiche fails to fullfil what states in the bying product description.
There is one way to reach a customer service by contacting through the website. I believe it will take very long to hear back anything, more likely saying the link was sent, it's in my spam folder and I'm so blind that could not find it...
Never ever will this place to buy any event!
Jesus Christ... it is amazing how bad this organisation is. Event got cancelled because of corona virus so i wrote a refund, got a message back that my refund wasn't applicable because the max date of refund was 20th of march and i bought the ticket on guess what? 20th of march so that was the reason i couldnt get a refund. I thought this was the biggest BS ever because i dont know if i can go next year? And if corona is still there... After trying to contact them i didnt receive any emails and after my second refund i apparently got blocked... i was so pissed. I also tried to call them but ofcourse they have no callers for some idiotic reason... like come on. 1 month later i tried again and i dont even receive an email back... i am done with this. Dont ever buy your tickets from Eventbrite because in times of these where you need their help they will just ignore you. I am so triggered.
The worst. They take zero accountability for what is published on their website. You can be totally ripped off by an event organizer and you will never receive your money back.
This company is a scam! Stay away from purchasing anything under them! I'm disputing charges on my credit card and PayPal will side with them because they're in on it together.
We had an even change because of COVID. We refunded our attendees from our personal NON-PROFIT checking account because Eventbrite sent a notice that they would be sending us the proceeds. Knowing from those proceeds we could refund everyone, BUT THEY NEVER DID SEND US THE PROCEEDS. Its been 6 months and THEY REFUSE TO TAKE LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE CALLS, they ignore every time we submit, on line, everything they ask for. Once they said they accepted our refund request from the documentation, I, the NON -PROFIT Treasurer submitted but they never would give the money back and have ignored the subsequent 3 contacts. THEY ARE THIEVES. They keep accepting money from NEW EVENT ORGANIZERS while having stolen our proceeds. I have contacted the Attorney General's office to find out whom we can lodge a formal complaint with to see if we can get their license pulled before they steal from more people.
Do not buy ANY tickets from this company. We have twice and they are the biggest rip off and way over priced. We talked to other people that bought tickets on Groupon for 66% less.
Answer: The organizer is no longer available when you send it
