Credit Card - Debit Card. This is so confusing. It does not make a lot of sense.

Consider your comment about credit card or debit card. Is complete a different card. A comment that we only hire out cars to drivers who have a credit card was rewritable to the Ts & Cs online and in the voucher we had share you when you had booked online the car. All our rentals a security deposit will be blocked on the credit card in the name of the driver plus the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit that will be blocked on the credit card will be released by the cardholder's bank, upon notification after the vehicle returns.

Friendly and helpful staff. Car was clean and well prepared. Usually all Europcar cars are pretty new.
Good customer service, very friendly and helpful staff. The car was in good condition also. Only downside was waiting on them to pick me up from airport to take me to their office, they don't have an onsite office in Athens airport.

I received the car that I reserved and it was close to a new car with few thousands kilometers so the car was in a great condition. Overall experience with Europecar was good. I was talked into to buy extra insurance though. But I guess it was for safe of mind.
