Didn't really help, stated that yes unit has internal battery but, only told me about charging vehicle battery, and talked about cig lighter. Never mentioned possible need to a) charge unit batt,) b) replace internal batt? So not really any help.

I paid $35 over the $25 part price for 2 day shipping. The order was delivered to location 6 days later even after I call to cancel. They said can't cancel has already shipped. Location was a vacation spot I had all ready left that location. The caretaker refused delivery and was sent back. Etrailer gave a $5 credit for the $30 part I paid for. I was out $55 and no part.

Ordered a 15' slide topper which took 6 weeks to show with heavy shipping damage. Got E-trailer to reship a replacement item which only took about a 1 week. They did not issue pickup of old unit at the time. Now over 4 weeks past the time of receiving the good item, e-trailer wants to pickup the damaged unit. I have since moved and the damaged item is at the site of the RV in question. After specifying that e-trailer still sent the pick up to happen at original ship address. Informed etrailer and repeated the details about where it can be picked up and I receive this: "We would need to schedule another pick up at the original shipping location between the hours of 12-5pm next week between Tuesday and Friday. If you could please let me know what day works best for you."
It must have something to do with fees with recovering the damaged item or there is simply cognitive problems. They won't expand or acknowledge what I said about location and not being able to be there. So some straight forward communication is going to be necessary for me to help them with the return. It is looking very unlikely to happen though.

My only complaint right now (not installed yet) is when I called to confirm my shipping address I was told I would receive an email with tracking when it shipped. I never did and therefore didn't know to when expect it or if it had even shipped yet.
Want to replace my two piece rv roof access ladder. Asked questions about the surco universal ladder to see if it might work. Questions answered promptly. Will probably order the ladder in the next few weeks.
The answer was not what I wanted but, there probably is no other way to go from a 2 wire tow vehicle to a 3 wire toad. I have the wiring that was recommended. I just wanted something simple without the diodes and such.

I bougjt a 5th whreel bracket for my 2011 f350 super duty. After get the bracket we noticed that we would have to drill hile not only to the frame but also to the bed of the truck. After speaking to a representative they said they would take the item back but i would have to pay for shipping. Completly unsatisfactory customer service. They just lost a customer
My seal had no number on it. I emailed Etrailer the measurement of the OD of the seal shaft and ID of the wheel hub on a Sunday. They emailed me back the number of the seal I needed the next day. It arrived today, the day they said it would arrive. Great service and helpful people. Very happy...
Thanks Chris for your fast feedback on my question. I realize it is difficult to recommend a size when you aren't able to actually measure the part. I finally contacted my trailer manufacturer through the place I bought it. Although I chose to buy the parts (not stocked by etrailer) from another source. I will definitely keep etrailer in mind for future trailer part needs.
