Terrible customer service as they will not answer the phone and take forever to respond to chat. The shipper is slow, I've twice had deliveries delayed for days past the arrival date. This company says they are good for 7 days without a cold pack, basically a baked good cooking in a box on a truck. Don't buy from here.
Placed an order as always for the holiday.
Tried to reach them to fix something.
No phone. No email. No chat. They just left us hanging. Very unhappy with their service. Will not use them again. Stay away.
If they can't bother answering a phone then they are not deserving of my business
About a week post Christmas I received an email communication from Eastern Provisions apologizing for the lack of support on my order. They offered to send my order out to the proper address at no charge to me to make good on the bad service I received. They followed through with their offer and a new order is on its way to the proper recipient. I felt this was an honest attempt to make things right.
By the way...the pretzels are really good. I highly recommend ordering. Just keep an eye on all information to make sure nothing gets changed over when using a third party payment service.
The product is fine but I'm giving a negative review due to my experience. I ordered a package to give them a try, then ordered a second for a Christmas gift to my family. I ALSO experienced my shipping address changed to my billing address. No one to help you fix it. I used their email 3 times. Absolutely NO response. I attempted to call the company, only a recorded message telling me they are not accepting calls, but to email them. So, now I have two orders delivered to my address. I'm not happy, and I will never order from them again. You can't expect to stay in business if your customer service is non existent.
I ordered gourmet soft pretzels as a treat for my office. The package was delivered to my closed, municipal office on a Saturday night and sat outside - in the snow - until Monday morning. The pretzels were freezing and damp when I finally looked inside the box. To Eastern Standard's credit, they immediately issued me a refund and a letter when I complained via email.
I can't really comment on the product since it sat around outside too long to be fresh. The company should have issued special instructions to FedEx.
Customer support was excellent.
I only wish I had looked into reviews before ordering.
I ordered this as Christmas gifts for family members. So Embarrassing! The receiptients did receive the items but there were no gift cards attached indicating who gave the gift. Who in the world is going to eat something that they have no idea who sent it? One of my family contacted Eastern to ask who sent the gift. After MULTIPLE emails, someone got back with them a week later. When I was informed of the ordeal, I contacted Eastern. The confirmation I received from them clearly showed what was supposed to be written on the cards. They have never replied.
Unbelievable! They delivered the order to my billing address, not the shipping address entered on their website. I've been trying to reach them, their phone number says they aren't taking calls. They haven't replied to any of my emails. Do not order from this company.
I ordered six gifts to be sent out on Dec. 15th. While I understand weather delays, it is Dec. 26th and still no delivery. I called and left voice mails. One rep called and set up a time to call me back with details. She never called! I received an e-mail that an address was invalid. Which one? They didn't get back to me. Turns out the address was valid. Live chat? No way! Nothing live about it. Great product and terrible customer service. Will not be back.
Placed an order on Nov 29 for delivery on or about Dec 15. Company sent the order next day and my friend, who was on a trip at the time, arrived home on the 12th to find a moldy box of pretzels on her doorstep. She called the company and I sent an email. Three days later she got a voicemail at 10 PM asking for photos of the pretzels. I have yet to receive any response to my email. Called this morning, got voicemail. Looks like we will never know if their products are any good - because I will NEVER order from them again - but their customer service/response is definitely the rock-bottom worst.
I placed an order with them on Nov 2nd, and had delivery set up for Dec 19-21,2022. I was charged for my order and it is now Dec. 21st and haven't received my order. Tried to call them--they aren't taking any calls. Used the chat service and it took over 3 hours before I got a response back for them to tell me that they didn't have my order and that my money was probably refunded back to me. It was not. Asked for the contact information to the billing department, but they think I ahve used another email for my order--I don't have another email. Just horrible customer service and so disappointed as I was ordering pretzels from them for my husbands birthday--as these type of pretzels are his favorite and we don't get them where we live.
I ordered to be shipped on the 20th of Dec. They shipped on Dec 21st at 10:51pm. My box sit in Arizona for over 6 days before being sent to TN. I was told they were frozen and on ice. NO ICE in the box. No sign of ice. These were OLD. Ruined my Christmas surprise for my family.Tried to call for 7 days. Refused to answer their phone. Chat was a JOKE. Spent 5 days from 10am to closing. No response. Emailed. No response. Horrible experience..
My sister's gift arrived moldy over 2 weeks ago and she still has not received a replacement. No one answers phone or live chat for the last week! Very unhappy. Do not buy from these people!
I PLACED MY ORDER ONLINE 12-16 AND THEY SAY ON THEIR WEBSITE WILL ARRIVE BEFORE CHRISTMAS - BULL$#*!! STILL IN TRANSIT FROM 12-16-22! I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN, I WOULD OF ORDER LOCALLY IF I WOULD OF KNOW YOU WERE GOING TO BE LATE ON THE ORDER 1 WEEK IN ADVANCE AND YOU STILL CAN'T GET IT OUT ON TIME!
I never got to talk to a real person. Robo responses on fake chat. Poor management. They oversold their stock.
