“Big joke!”

Andrea A.

It started out ok when the previous survey site Harris Poll shut down and sent me an invitation for E-Rewards. After a few months on this site, I was trying to cash my earnings for a gift card and that's when the problem started. After telling them about the problem, they decided to terminate me. But the only thing that I was concerned about was the error message when trying to get the gift card. They are holding my earnings hostage by no means necessary!

They have many tech problems with their surveys and give you little for your opinions. But what is worse is the fact that you do surveys and then do not get credit for many after spending 30 minutes only to be told that the quota has been met... but they have the info at that point and have given you nothing.

Requested reward redemption for a magazine on 8/20/20. Debited my account immediately. I have now contacted them 5 times because I never received the magazine. No one will respond.
Also many times I have spent 5-7 minutes in a survey just to find I don't qualify! Why can't they target surveys to your profile and save everyone time? Not worth the effort.

E-rewards is a site that pays you to take surveys for companies. Actually a legitimate company -- I have been a top rated survey taker for years. In the olden days, the rewards were for cash and then they switched to gift cards or account credits (like a credit for you Amazon account). All good. I have taken thousands of surveys and earned thousands of $ over the years. Each survey earns you differinig $ amounts based on how long and involved the survey is.
I have complained in the past year (several times) about the number of survey questions you had to fill out to be told "You don't qulalify for this survey" meaning you get 25 cents instead of the full $ amount for the survey. If I am answering 50 quesitons to be told I don't qualify, then that company just got a lot of data for only 25cents. The first question should be "Do you own a car" or "Did you purchase groceries in the last week" A yes should qualify you for the survey and then allow you to answer the questions. A no should kick you out and onto the next survey.
But as of November 2023 they have gone to a new 3rd-party company to redeem your gift card/account credit. The new system wants you to scan your DRIVER'S LICENSE (Front and back) and take a SELFIE in order to redeem. NO -- with so much fraud in the world it is one thing for someone to get my name and email address but another for them to get my name, home address, drivers license #, and a picture of me.
When I contact customer service they basically said tough. After many many years I canceled my account.
Cannot recommend any longer. Dissapointed.

Tip for consumers:
This was a phenomenal survey site *previously* -- JD Power, health care systems, auto companies, banks, investment companies, even Disney offered surveys. Over the years I actually recognized some commercials I screened.
Never again -- I should not have to give up so very much of my private data and identity information. Went from 5* to 1*
