We've had the Christmas pudding with vine fruits before, but this year we were looking for something a little different, and the English Tea Store certainly came through. The selection of puddings was like nothing I'd seen before. We ended up getting the black forest pudding with some clotted cream and brandy butter.
It arrived quickly and well packed to keep it intact.
Everything arrived ell packaged and on time despite all the delay across the country.

Horrible customer service. I ordered teapots with expedited two day shipping. Was of course charged more than half the cost of the teapots. Delivery should have been received 5 days ago, and has yet to be delivered. I called FedEx and was instructed to contact the merchant (English Tea Store) to provide me with a shipping refund in which FedEx would refund English Tea Store. I called English Tea Store customer service and was immediately greeted by a rude employee. I simply stated what FedEx told me, and she was very defensive and said "we shipped the same day!". I told her we are not blaming English Tea Store, but just want to receive the shipping refund since FedEx will reimburse them directly. She went to speak with her manager and then told me they can only give me half and it wasn't their fault. She again, was very abrasive and rude. She said they were not going to call FedEx to receive their refund so that is why I can only receive half. I also told her the order was for a special event and I will need to return the teapots if not received today by a certain time. With an attitude she told me that I will need to pay out of pocket to ship the items back. Horrible customer service and will never order from them again. And I am an event designer and could have used them for future events. Not happening. Also, don't offer 2 day FedEx shipping if you won't attempt to partner with FedEx to address these type of issues. TO ANYONE THAT DECIDES TO CONTINUE TO ORDER FROM THIS STORE, DON'T ATTEMPT EXPEDITED SHIPPING!
There are days when I miss my life in the UK, and your shop is the BEST and happiest way to bring home to where I live in America. Thank you so much for packing my purchases so they arrive in perfect condition. My tea things and chocolates are always fresh and heartwarming. I'm enjoying a cuppa and a slice of battenburg cake this very moment!
