Constant bombardment with fake profiles. Scammers join for free, post a pic the copied from anywhere, then post a "Username" that has an embedded email or phone number to text. Dozens each day! And then there is the numerous daily repetitive contact from another fake profile user using the exact same "I am leaving this site because I found my true love, but... my friend saw your profile and asked me to contact you... " And if that isn't enough dozens of people supposedly 'join' (for free) and post a profile with NO PICTURE. Brilliant, no picture = no person. Customer Service? NEVER! It's Customer ABUSE! I've lodged continuous complaints that their robots chuckle over before deleting. Try contacting them?... IF you can even find their 'contact form'. Or try calling them (with their German Phone Number, I'm sure that's also not another scam. Right!) Try talking to the Online Customer Service? The bot comes on and says, yes, uh-huh, okay, and is there anything else I can tell the REAL bot I'm going to connect you with? THEN... to really irritate the Hell out of you, they want to CHARGE you to speak with their stinking third party complaint desk "person". And for the FINAL straw, they will NEVER refund your money for the privilege of letting them abuse you and piss you off immensely as their paying customer. This outfit is only in the absolute ELITE class of rotten business enterprises on the planet. Consider yourself forewarned.

This site is almost dead. They took to misleading their customers by offering fake matches. All my matches were either inappropriate or outdated or unresponsive. Anyway I switched to
J4Dream.com
And it took me just three months to find my potential match. She agreed to visit me first because she's from another country. But this is not a problem for me. Our mentalities are close. She is from Ukraine. The women are very beautiful there and they have traditional family values and for most of them a slight age difference is not a problem. American women are totally different. I think our women tend to be more materialistic. I'm not talking about everyone but this is just a general tendency. That is why I really like the idea of marrying a girl from Ukraine. The big plus is that most of them learn English at school and the ones that are in their thirties usually speak good English. Anyway I think there is nothing to do on EliteSingles. I left it with no regret and I don't recommend it to anyone.

I received only one message in 4 weeks. It was an attempt to scam me. I contacted several males with a Doctor's degree asking them what university awarded them their degree. The spelling in their profile was the equivalent to a 4th grader. No one I contacted has ever answered me back. After I made a complaint with the management, I started receiving fake profiles, computer made, to match my requirements. I strongly believe the website managers are creating fake profiles to attract paying customers. I was very interested in the profile of a male in the same line of work I am (state employee). After I wrote the gentleman 3 times and he did not seem to have noticed my messages, I took the initiative to find him through a family member living and working in the same place... there was no one by that name or fitting the description. I also tried reverse image search but the (non) elitesingles protects their "investment" trying to cover their lies. This service is a total scam, a waste of money and time for anyone.

I have been on a few dating websites and have been underwhelmed by the quality and character of the people on these sites; i heard an on a radio station that elite singles was supposed to be better and would match you with like-minded, educated, quality people; i'm not vain but i am an attractive person and i patiently waited for responses and i began to experience what others have described - there are NO matches, NO ONE responds to you, you can actually hear crickets chirp while you are browsing through this site; some profiles are NOT active, a substantial amount have NO photos, it is definitely a complete waste of your time and money - keep scrolling through to other sites; i paid an good chunk of money for nothing; again, considering this company is a complete waste of your time and MONEY, DON'T DO IT

A disappointing experience from beginning to end.

6 months ago I purchased a membership with this site. The matches were not what I was hoping for, far out of my geographic area. So I sent customer service and email asking if there was something wrong with my account settings. I received matches from Montreal, which is 5 hours away from where I live. None of the setting I had made as important preferences were adhered to.

The responses I received were not super helpful and I continued to get bad matches. I decided to cut my losses with the first payment and I thought I had cancelled my subscription. Fast forward 6 months later I receive an email saying $150 has been removed from my account, and that I was renewed!

I immediately responded asking for a refund and was hit with a wall of Terms and Conditions from two Customer Service Representatives. They continued to refuse a refund even after I said that I did not want the service, am in fact 3 months pregnant and in a longterm relationship, and don't want the service.

I did not receive any notification email saying my subscription would be renewed in advance either which is a requirement for any Canadian clients.

I recommend staying away from this site.

I joined on 12/28/22 and just cancelled my subscription. I also deleted my account/data. Why? Today I became aware of 4 fake profiles, 3 of which were interacting with mine! So Creepy!

Keep taking money out of my account when it's set NOT to renew! No contacts in my area. Total waist of time and money. Very hard to contact them. If I do not get a refund I'll seek legal advice.

What a scam, free membership you are unable to view anything. Get membership can only purchase a min of 3 months. Site is difficult to navigate and IMPOSSIBLE I MEAN IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This company STOLE $67 from me buy charging me 3 months of subscription and deleting my profile right after but NEVER refunded and they keep lying to my face through emails saying they "cancelled" the payment but I was charged and never refunded! I will go for justice until the end of my days!

I barely get to see pictures, either it doesn't load or I only see tons of people without pictures. Sometimes I have to close and open the app multiple times in order to even get into my messages. It says it's for people 30 and over, it's more like 50 and over. What a complete waste of money! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

This site is a joke! Of course they offer a "Free" profile, but once you fill out their "personality test" and answer their questions to fill out your profile, YOU CAN'T SEE YOUR MATCHES! They blur out the pictures until you pay for their premium subscription. I was told you had 3 days after you paid to cancel your subscription as long as you had not emailed anyone. So, I gave it a try. Here's my experience. Most of the women within 100 miles of me only posted 1 picture and filled out only 1-3 questions. I had two email and 4 smiles within the first 48 hours of signing up. Oddly enough, 3 of the profiles were no longer active by the time I subscribed. Seems a lot of these dating sites have bots or fake profiles that send new profiles fake likes, smiles and messages to entice them to pay for the subscription. EliteSingles has been the worst pay site I've experience for being able to search of matches. They only send you a group of matches daily. Plus a "have you seen" that seemed to have nothing to do with the search options I selected. For the cost, limited matches, horrible matching options, I would avoid eliteSingles and go with one of the other bigger, well known sites.

Also, their customer service was almost impossible to find to ask questions. I had to do a Google search and finally found a way to email them. They were helpful and answered questions quickly once I found a way to contract them.

Member profile for Bill ( former corporate attorney, 66 years old,, St Louis, Missouri) is FALSE. He is 76 years old,, was never an attorney and has a documented history of sexually harassing women. This was verified by public records, news articles and an internet search. Reported to ' customer service' they did not remove his profile. Filed complaint with Police. This man has had previous violations and misdemeanors. PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF against this unstable preditor.

Scammers abound. Most profiles have ONE pic. Most matches are far away. Its too expensive and a waste of money. No way to see who has been active and when. I know of one person personally who has not been active for over a year yet she showed up in my suggestions. WHY WASTE MY AND OTHERS $$ WITH NON ACTIVE PEOPLE?!

There were about six-seven people in my state on the site, as a woman that is 55, I was approached by many romance scammers. I was surprised when I asked for a partial refund and it was granted.

I avoided this site for a long time due to price. However, I happened to run into a ‘deal' on the site that put it on par with others. I took it. (Also discovered that depending on search engine, price was different) I should add that I am male seeking male. Could be different for different people.

I have found:
1)The format and sign up process is same as a couple of other sites.

2)Takes forever to get profile "out of review". I finally called about 3 weeks after initiating-they still haven't corrected for one thing, my age. This call was early Jan, ‘21. It is late March, ‘21. Also have a couple of changes from about four weeks ago still "in review".

3)Attempts to alter wording to better reflect myself have been rejected because it didn't read the way their ‘suggestion' did. (Which totally missed the point).

4)Many of the match suggestions don't have profile photos. A lot are totally inappropriate.

5)And like other sites, a message came up saying I was setting my preferences too strict when I indicated I absolutely can't tolerate a smoker. I take that to mean that I won't get as many suggested matches.

I wasn't fooled by the initial personality question stuff-I did it anyway. Perhaps that is the basis of getting these matches without anything else in common. Great—I could be sitting and cuddling in front of T. V. 365 nights a year with someone that is disciplined like myself!

Nothing nasty here, but very disappointing. Keep expectations low, and hunt for competitive price and find out for yourself. The sites seem to draw from the same pot.

The very first thing you have to do, before you can even get into the site, is take a 30 minute personality test that asks redundant questions. Once you finish that, they want you to answer 7 more essay style questions.
After finally getting past all that crap, you get to your match page and can't see any pictures. None. They are all blurred. The descriptions and answers from your pretend matches are janky looking. You have to sign up for 3 months minimum at $34.95 per month to see anyone's picture.
Their refund policy says you send a message to their customer service team and they will get back to you "usually very quickly".
I could smell that scam stink a mile away. They didn't get my money, but I guarantee you won't get all of what you pay back.
My Match.com subscription auto renewed and I contacted their customer support the same day. They charged me for a month and refunded the second two months. They refused to give me the full amount and referred me to the fine print in their user agreement.
I bet my paycheck elitesingles.com gets at least a month's subscription price out of you.
Many other reviewers are complaining about having a hard time cancelling and getting charged more than they agreed to.
