Beware! Elite use an autorenewal. They will not remind you when this is coming up and will simply charge you for the full £192.00! Trying to navigate the site to cancel your subscription or stop the autorenewal will send you round and round in circles and when you finally lose patience and find the customer care contact form which is in itself a feat, they do not respond. I've worked with computers for the last 30 years. This website in my personal opinion seems to be designed purely to make it difficult for people to get out of once they're in. They also have a very bad feedback on trustpilot. Wonder why!

After trying out the app for a few days, I found out that this app is nothing like what it described and advertised.

The app says: for single professionals, educated singles and intelligent matchmaking... However, it's not quite true after trying out the app. Lots of men I got introduced to is scary looking, super far away and not educated or professionals.

It is not a good experience knowing that I am paying so much for a service that doesn't do as advertised or not worth the money.

I cancelled the subscription via the app store and then they still billed me over 100£ for an automatic renewal. After search for ages to get a way to contact customer service (the help page just says refer to the help page) they refused to refund even though they saw I had no logged in for months so there was no way I wanted an automatic renewal. Customer service was slow in responding and also clearly use a very patronising template.

Literally non-functioning app, you get notifs all the time that someone has messaged you, but when you open the app you find there's no messages! And you send messages to profiles but you never get any response! I highly doubt the messaging feature of this app even works!

Customer service has no reading comprehension or understanding of their own product or how to help customers.

I can't believe I ripped myself off by buying the premium service (oh yeah, they make you sign up for premium to even *try* the service to begin with).

Main complain: tons of scammers. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. Far from being elite. You get exposed, waste your time trusting you are talking to a real person and in the end they turn to be fake. And they are good. Believe me ladies, they are very good! The app is very poorly developed. Lots of bugs. I wish I could get a refund

Sign-up process is misleading, says there is a free option but if it is there I couldn't see it. Then gives monthly payment amount but bills you the total term in one payment. Encourages you to use the site straight away so that if you can find the refund process after you discover you've been debited the fu'll term they deny it because somewhere in the small print it states a refund won't be provided after you've communicated in anyway with any other members.

Not an active community either. In 2 months of use I've had about 20 matches and 2 conversations. Will never use again

Seems like there are a lot of strangely positive reviews for this site out there from "news" sources. Not sure how that's happening. I would NOT recommend this site. Most matches do not have photos. It's been about 50% so far if not a bit more. And there's no way to filter that out. Most matches are pretty far away too. This is one of the suckiest sites I've seen out there. Such a waste of money and SO wish I'd never paid for it.

I was disappointed. Although I had plenty of attention, when I dated men from this site, I discovered they misrepresented themselves. They were less educated and quite unstable, financially than I expected. It seems to attract men who are looking for someone who can help them improve their lifestyle. I was searching for intellectual stimulation, shared interests and values, as well as someone who could match me in lifestyle. I did not find this and started realizing it attracts people who are looking to elevate their lives beyond what they could accomplish with their own effort prior to seeking a relationship with someone else.

After only one week and paying 83 dollars Canadian for one month, all I encountered was scam profiles. I was sent emails from their safety team telling me the person who contacted me was a fake profile. I wanted a refund as I wasn't able to match with anyone that was real but they denied my refund. Joke of a site!

The worst experience, my 1st date site, all fake profiles, people scamming money, unreal they are in business. No way to contact them, my profile has been in review 2 months, supposed to be 24 hrs. So no one can even read my profile? RIPOFF

Having registered and paid on Dec 1, their Orsa Murphy declared no trace of it. Demanded personal and banking details, very worrying. Sent proof of payment and cancellation on Dec 2. No confirmation or log in ever sent after lots of lying cross purpose emails. Suddenly they found registration on Dec 22, still no confirmation or log in details, but refusal to cancel and refund. Their website is impossible to find contact details - managed to get email from a friend. This has been a minefield and deliberate robbery.

Horrible customer care service, the website is not that popular as advertising. Be prepare to see small number of members on the website. You have to pay large amount of money upfront, and you won't get refund so easily like their advertising. It is real scam. The website says, you will be matched with numbers of people / day. Reality, there are only a few people / day. I guarantee, you will be disappointed with elitesingle dating. I still want my money back :((

I notified them of the cancelation, and they continued charging - any business that does not give you an address to complain is not one to deal with. Try yourself and you will find. 86 year old

I do not have a fat bank account. I do make a high salary. I keep getting matched to women that make half or less than I do. We one finally starts talking to me. Then being honest, I tell them, I make good money, I just do not have a fat bank account and live in apartment because I lost everything I owned a several years ago and am rebuilding my life. That is when I get blocked and no longer talked. I was talked into joining this site to "get back out there" and to stop being taken by women. It is all just the same, just and electronic means to hook you up with gold diggers, not someone interested in being with you.

Do not use! Absolute scam! I cancelled renewal and was charged anyway. When I complained all of a sudden I began receiving all kind of notifications saying there was interest in my page, etc. Absolute scam!

I joined this site, in particular, at the recommendation of a friend. Thought I'd get matches that were professionals, educated and somewhat attractive. I was surprised that many of the matches I got were actually subscribed to Silver Singles and not Elite Singles! (I was able to learn this via emails and conversations with a few of the best matches.) I had no idea that this site shares their client profiles with another dating site! If I wanted to join Silver Singles, I would have at a much reduced cost. What a rip off and a waste of time. There is nothing elite, professional or upscale about this site or the matches they make. Don't waste your time, money or energy on this.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is the worst dating app. I paid for a membership and got literally zero for it. The site is full of fake profiles, no one is active. The person who wrote to me in a month turned out to be a scammer. Now i read other reviews and realized this is not only my experience. This dating app is fake. You are better off with other dating sites which you don't have to pay for, like Bumble or Hinge.
