Much better price than the box stores
April 11, 2015

Much better price than the box stores. Have ordered the same item before and have had no problems. Normal lifespan for Item is about 8yr, and originals started needing replacement at 10yr. Out of five units, three have gone sat and I've had no worries with new ones.

Never order from them. They are liers. They are not selling what you ordered. They post pic of item. But sending only a part. Be careful

I liked everything about your website, products and customer serve EXCEPT the fact that it was hard to get the products needed for free shipping. I was about $3 short or so and spent 15 minutes looking for something to put me over line. Sadly some items qualified for free shipping while others did not. Of course the lower priced items filler items wasn't allowed to get me where I needed to be. Had to abandon the highest priced item in my cart and get it at Amazon. Luckily I needed a slightly more expensive item and was able to get that instead.

Only reason I didn't abandon the whole order was bcos the CS rep was really helpful and I wanted to reward great service with a sale.

So please...allow a few filler items to count towards the free shipping total.

I'm on Long Island and the product shipped from Staten Island yet it took 4 days to arrive. The company shipped it out immediately but USPS seemed to take longer than itshould have. 4 days isn't that bad...just seemed like they could have done better.

I couldn't believe how quickly I received my order first of all! Totally delighted when installation of the smoke detectors actually fit perfectly with the adapter that was recommended. Couldn't have been more pleased. The price was below what I had expected to pay. Now have you in my "favoites" so I can have easy access.

The smoke detector that we needed was no longer manufactured. This site told me which models to buy with the wiring we had with old detectors. Shipping was quick and the order was accurate. The new smoke detectors installed perfectly and work great. Couldn't ask for more!

The track lighting was bent
August 28, 2020

The track lighting was bent. Still usable and I needed it immediately so I chose to use it. But still disappointed it was bent. It also didn't ship out until 4 days later. I wouldn't have paid for overnight shipping if I knew when it would arrive.

The only reason I didn't give you 5 stars is that the first shipment we received was NOT packaged well. It was a Lutron switch and it was loose in the box. No packaging padding materials whatsoever. The next shipment was better.

Pretty simple
February 1, 2016

Pretty simple. Although the FireX Smoke detectors I was replacing had been replaced by an alternate model, it was a simple matter to change the wiring harness and the mounting ring, and the units integrated flawlessly with the rest of the system.

Hi,
We paid for overnight shipping and our order was NOT delivered the next day.
When I contacted your office about this, I was told I had to go through FedEx for this.

I don't believe that this is right. You now have our money for overnight shipping but we did not receive what we paid for. Why cant you refund us the customer, the money and you handle it with Fedex.
I don't believe the customer should be the party inconvenienced - not once but twice.

Had a terrific experience with the gentleman whose name I can't remember on your chatchatlineline. I was looking for a replacement socket for a can light for my kitchen. The existing one was about 20 years old so it was unlikely I was going to be able to find anything to replace it. I gave him some vague description and he came up with the right item right away. Sent me a link to the item and some helpful comments. I was so happy to get it at such a good price and so fast. If I have any other requirements for electrical needs that I can't fill locally I will certainly turn to you guys again. My experience was wonderful. I ordered smoke detectors and it took over a month to get, I had to call to find out about my order which I needed to complete a job. When I spoke to a representative he was going to look into the order but he never got back to me so I cancelled the order and low and behold 2 weeks after cancelling the order they show up. You should have notified me of the delay as you were my supplier not BRK. I purchased the detectors from another supplier and had them in 2 days.

I needed smoke detector and out system was a bit old. Wasn't sure if I could find one. I put in the old number and the replacement item showed. I asked for a replacement and a spare, they can within a few days with no hassles! What more can you ask.
