Shipping was much faster than promised. Smoke detector was about 50% of the price from other sources. Smoke detector was in an easy to open box rather than sealed plastic. Adapter was far cheaper than any other source.
Great service. I had mistakenly ordered a part that was incompatible with the other parts I ordered for a lighting project. Instead of simply sending me the wrong part, they contacted me, pointed out that I may have ordered the wrong part, and suggested the compatible unit. Most places would simply send you the wrong part and move on...
The items purchased were a replacement for our "old" fire detectors. In your ad you stated that our current fire detectors were no longer supported by the company that made them. Our detectors were hard wired, and the product that your company recommended to use to replace them was spot on. All I had to do was replace the mounting ring (as you stated) and I could use the adapter that was in the new kit and I was ready to go! It was simply that easy! I was amazed! Nowhere was is reflected that this product was not in stock. I was lead to believe that I would have it in a number of days. E-mail told me of the 10 day backorder, however 20 days late if finally showed up.

We needed to replace all of the smoke detectors in the house, and we didn't want to replace the hard wiring. We looked for the replacement version of our smoke detectors. This company had the product at a fair price and delivered them in a few days. What more could I ask?
First, I can never get in touch with the person I am calling. A woman answers and asks for all of your information and says that someone will call me back. Second, sometimes they don't call back at all, sometimes the next day, very seldom the same day. Third, my orders started taking longer to get here and I've had to wait for backorders on my last two orders.
The main thing I don't like is when I finally get to speak with someone there, he says he's going to check on the back orders and call me back but he never calls back to give me the info. Therefore I wait, again, and then end of having to go through the calling back cycle again.
While it was not your fault that we did not get all of our product at the same time, it was frustrating having to call all the time because customer service would not call back or email to give me the requested status of our items.
