I purchased replacement Smoke Alarms for a discontinue Firex model. Your customer service "chat" technician was super helpful in directing me to the correct product. They detectors installed exactly as described. I purchased my first unit to confirm it was the right model; I paid a reasonable price for it. When I ordered the additional four units required, the product was on special promotion. That was even better! I have recommended you and this product to my neighbors in the development, who all need to replace the obsolete smoke detectors in their townhomes.
Website instruction were unclear for me, a homeowner, and not a professional electrician. Ordering replacement smoke detectors, the website seemed to make clear that Kidde had stopped manufacturing the original. OK. Replacements were listed. OK. But then there were warnings that buying the replacements could require adapters, listed there on the page. I ordered three smoke detectors and three adapters. The adapters did not fit the smoke detectors I bought. I have had to send them back, using the original box as required. It cost nearly $8 for return shipping. Other suppliers would have taken care of the shipping cost. Overall, not happy. Regret not going to Home Depot.
I originally ordered one smoke alarm, but we decided to replace all in our house. When I called to order another eight the lady I talked to on the phone was very helpful in placing a 2nd order. Both orders arrived in about two days which I was surprised it was so quick since we were very close to Christmas.
The ordered was shipped via US Post Office but it required a signature for delivery. This made it impossible for me to pickup this package as I work 50 miles away from home and leave and return home when the Post Office is not opened. Had a Saturday not been on the third day, the Post Office would have sent this package back.
If I known a signature would be required for delivery, I would have shipped somewhere else or ordered from another business.
Product arrived quickly, however one item was packaged in a beat up box, and had clearly been used and returned. It was a lutron dimmer switch. The tinned ends of the connecting wires had been clipped off, and the wires showed signs of having been connected with wirenuts. I have no idea how it was previously connected, or if someone had switched load and line wires potentially damaging the switch. A second item, a low voltage transformer, failed,to,work at all and had to be returned for exchange. So two items out of three had problems. Customer service was responsive and worked to resolve the issue.
Had to special order a pathway light and due to the special order finish, it took little longer to ship. EBS was very prompt in the order process, in letting me know of the extra time for the special order shipment, and kept me aware of the delivery. Could not be happier!
Was promptly informed that my order was on back order and would ship within a couple of days. Considerable time elapsed so I made an inquiry into the status of my order, and received an immediate reply that my order was being shipped that day. So I don't know if my order was forgotten, but I was happy with the service. It was just for some spare replacement bulbs so the delay was no big deal.
Easily sourced product from Electric Bargain Store. Product was not available anywhere else online. Great priduct
The products we ordered were initially out of stock, but furnished more quickly than promised and are just what we ordered; because they were initially out of stock we had to modify our first order, but that was handled very efficiently and pleasantly.

I submitted an urgent order for 10 Kidde combination carbon monoxide & smoke alarm. ElectricBargainStore processed my order promptly for all ten units (other competitors couldn't fill my order for this many alarms). Excellent prices, installed myself with only minor problem but resolved. The only issue was when I live chatted the first time I was told that by ordering 5, I would receive free shipping. When I live chatted the following Monday I was told I would not receive free shipping. The prices were good enough for me to order anyway.
Adapters to be used with smoke alarms ordered were not shipped in package. Process to get adapters to install without rewiring for new detectors slow. Original order was to include adapters. Not happy.
I called customer service - just with a question - my call was returned promptly and answered fully. I placed my order and am happy with it. It was a pleasure dealing with you.

I had a good size order of Lutron components and shopped extensively on the web for a number of quotes and by far they had the best price and the customer service is first class on handling any issues. Could not recommend this company higher
Parts were easily identified and cross checked with other company part numbers. Prices were not hidden and shipping was a bargain. Pictures were NOT of low quality so no complaints of quantity over quality. Keep the quality and you should see more customers.

I ordered 4 smoke detectors to replace the 4 older ones I had in the house. Although the the First Alert detectors I had were discontinued the 4 I ordered were a recommended replacement. They arrived 2 days after I ordered them and were perfect replacements for the old ones. The price was right and the product installed with no issues. I was very satisfied with the whole process and would definitely order from Electric Bargain Stores again.
