Electric bargain stores was very helpful in helping me resolve my questions thru their online chat which came up immediately. They helped me identify which smoke alarm to buy to replace an old hardwired alarm so I didn't have to change out the wiring because of their adapter. They confirmed that this would work with my existing wiring after sending them a photo. They were very helpful and the adapter worked perfectly. The order was filled quickly and shipped immediately.
Everything about the experience has been great so far. Easy to find what I needed, great prices, very quick shipping. The only thing I cannot comment on is customer service/returns, which I have not needed yet, and hopefully will not.
They offered the cheapest price shipped on Lutron Dimmers so I gave them a shot and they delivered! Product arrive 3 or 4 days after ordering, was exactly what I ordered and was packaged appropriately. Would not hesitate to order anything from them in the future.
This is the second item we have ordered from Electric Bargain Stores. The first one was an item we could absolutely find no where else. It arrived quicker than we expected. So of course we came straight here today when we needed something we could have gotten at Lowes.

We needed to replace one of our smoke detectors and found what we needed at electric bargain stores.com. An adapter came with our order since the one we ordered was discontinued. Installing was very easy & were back in business!
Would really like it if you could have a quick click button if a customer just wants to re-order the same product/order, so I don't have to go through all the steps every time. Would be much more user friendly.
The only complaint I have about the overall shopping experience is that the items were not packaged very well. There wasn't any padding in the box and it was slightly damaged in transit. None of the smoke alarms look damaged, so I'm hoping they're fully functional.
Ordered a smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector. Arrived on time and works as it should. The only downside is that it was mailed in a padded mailer so the packaging for the product got a bit beat up. I suggest using a box for shipping next time.
A very pleasant surprise. I live on the East Coast and had my order in three days packed neatly with all the materials I purchased. Pricing was very good and everything is installed easily as noted on the website which was also very easy to navigate.

Great service. The item I ordered was not in stock, they offered to refund me my money or to wait 5-7 days for their new shipment. I decided to wait, and within a week I received tracking information for my lights. Very pleased.
After reviewing the website again, I realized the information regarding rewiring was there. I also figured out that it was no real problem removing the old plug and wiring in the new one using the same wire nuts, so install time was minimal.

They both were very prompt in assisting me and making the transaction smooth so we could return everything and get the new order placed as soon as possible so we could still get our job done in a timely matter. I was so grateful for their help.
Initial order arrived quickly, but was the wrong unit that I ordered...you substituted a unit that needed to be returned. After a little work, correct unit was finally sent and installed. Minor hiccup of life. Your online response was quick...took time sorting on the issue with Lutron tech support.
The only complaint I might have is that shipping was relatively expensive (cost more than the item a time or two). This is not just Electric Bargain Stores, but online electric parts purveyors generally across the board. I have often found I am able to ship items myself through USPS at significantly lower costs that I have been charged for the same item being shipped to me (typically through UPS or another carrier) and could wish that sellers might take advantage of lower shipping cost options.
But that aside, the ability to quickly identify and confirm a part or component through the website, at (so far) a very competitive price, and to process an order easily and quickly have all been very strong suits. The online website is clear, robust and well-organized.
I needed to replace some old, hardwired detectors in my home that were compatible with the existing wiring. All I did was give them the model number of the old detector and they sent me a new model with an adapter. It worked great. Delivery was very fast too.
I logged in to look at some pretty highly specialized light fixtures online and was greeted by a little "Can I help you..." popup. It was extremely refreshing to find that there was a real person operating the keyboard on the other end. They salesperson on the other end was extremely helpful in locating the product I needed, letting me know what options they had ready to ship, and were very up front and accurate with when they could get the items to me. It was soooo refreshing to deal with people that communicated clearly, efficiently, and professionally. It's very honestly the best online shopping experience I've ever had and I do a lot of purchasing in my line of work.
