I wanted to give them a try and decided to sell $10 Starbucks gift card for only $4 dollar! I was promised payment within few days but payment never received it has been over 4 weeks... yes 4 weeks for miserable $4 dollar! Please avoid this company it's so terrible. Also I checked my gift card balance and it says $0 they had a nice lunch on me!
EJ is middle man, 99% their cards are guaranteed 24hrs. If you order during week-end or at night, expect delay in delivery. Because EJ is middle man they cannot control 100% value of the card that's why cancellation last minute.
Be careful of the walmart card. EJ don't disclose the cards are giftcard or store credit. Store credit card means return without proof of purchase (stealing items then return), if you apply those cards on your account, walmart fraud team will flag you, they assume that you OFTEN return without receipt then ban you for life. That's what happen to me. They email me, accusing me to abuse returns rules bla bla each time i use walmart giftcard from EJ. I have to escalate/dispute 4 times to prove my innocence.
I submitted a Victoria Secret card for sell on February 14th and got paid until March 11th. I had to write customer service a couple of emails in the meantime but at the end I did get paid. I give it 4 stars because they will buy your cards for less than half their original value. Although it is the seller's choice to accept the price offer.
I sold a $500 gift card and was promised to receive my cash in 7 days time (3rd of March). 7 days wait is over and their agent said my payment will be processed today. Till this day I haven't received my cash. And their agent kept saying (it will be processed today). After going through all other reviews online I understand that it's their normal routine of scamming their customer. Never trade your card with them as you will not receive a cent. They are certified thief's with no contact address. Pure scam

I purchased 4 Dunkin' Donut gift cards totaling $100 from EJ Gift Cards. I find out from Dunkin' that the cards were reported lost or stolen. When I went back to EJ for a refund or replacement, they advised that I would not get a refund or replacement as it was outside of the 24 hour guarantee. Clearly, this was an issue with the cards they sold me. So I paid for $0 in return. Beware and don't buy any cards from them as the same may happen to you.
I screwed up by putting the wrong email address (typo) on my order. I realized it after the order came through as already expired. I let them now via email and it was fixes within the hour and the egift card was perfect.
Been trying to get in contact with CS for 2 days. This company does not care about its customers. They email you back hours later then I respond and nothing. Done with them, I dont care how cheap there gift cards are!
Purchased a gift card for JC Penney for $99. Went to use and was never activated. EJ won't do anything about it because in the fine print the guarantee period was only 24 hours - told me too bad, so sad, you lose $99! I tried for weeks to get my money back and they won't budge. BEWARE of this company!
I purchased 4 Uber gift cards from EJ Gift Card, 2 of them have been used by others. I opened the claims and also send the email to them, they replied that email on the same day invested the issue and sent the replacement after two business days. I'm happy with this site even though the payment method is a bit tricky.

I purchased a $169 Ulta gift card and received an e-gift card with $0 balance. I contacted customer service twice through their contact us form and submitted a claim as well. No response from customer service. Only received an auto-response from the claim submitted. Still have not heard anything back since my purchase and that was 5 days ago. This is not my first time buying from them but never again. Unresponsive and not trust-worthy. Apparently I have to allow up to 14 - 21 business days for them to resolve my claim. Just unacceptable. What's more unacceptable is the radio silence from this company since I've contacted them.

This company should be shut down, they literally steal from you. I made the mistake of doing business with them but then had to file multiple claims several different times to perhaps get my money back. They will give you gift cards, they all look good but by the end of the week your balance on several of them will be $0. Even if you buy from them the same day then check your balance, take the card to the store, it will be $0 before you get there. They stole $200 from me and will not refund me. And wasted at least 30 hours dealing with this nonsense, filing a claim on so many cards I bought from them. 30 day guarantee is a joke. They say you save 40% on a lot of cards, believe me you will be paying an extra 50% on average. Do not do business with these thieves!
They got me for $108.84, the gift cards I purchased all had $0 balances. Furious, I filed a claim with the website and it was immediately approved, however after waiting the appropriate amount of business days I never received my refund! I'm sure any of you who wound up here are not reading this proactively, so please do your part by spending a few minutes to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission... these $#*!s need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law but no repercussions at all will happen unless the victims step forward and make everyone aware of the crimes they are committing. Fraud. Bought $200 gift card, went to use it the same day, and it had a $0 balance. Emailed EJGiftcard with no response. Called and was on hold "due to high call volume (my $#*!)" and told my "wait time was between 7-10 minutes." They NEVER picked up after 45 minutes. So now I'll just have my credit card company deal with them and spend the time they've wasted of mine, letting others know that this "company" is a complete scam. I'm certain all of their "5-star reviews" are created fraudulently.
I'm not sure what these other reviews are taking about but I had an amazing experience with EJ Gift Cards. I sold them a card, got my money and moved on. Simple and straight forward. I'll do business with you in future. Definitely.
I had purchased several Best Buy gift cards with this business, of which three have inaccurate or reduced balance although within the 30 day guarantee period. One of them was a $100 gift card which has a 0 balance and the other two are short roughly $25 each than their actual amounts. I have tried calling the number they have on their website but it always says the same thing that they are on a call, which means they have just left the phone hanging, so no calls will be received by them. Emails to them have been non responsive and all their payments are through zelle, which should have caught my attention. You have been warned!
I needed to make a purchase today with these gift cards, but I can't use them now because of this issue.
Purchased 50 dollar gift card instead got 33.80. So far it's been 9 days with no response. Any normal company would have resolved this issue the same day. Wouldn't recommend. Buying from them is a gamble, and you're likely to lose. After they send you the item not as described they have you fill out a claim form, and then tell u to wait 14-21 days. Tried to save money instead got ripped off and even worse losing more time thinking and dealing with this than the value I would have saved anyways.
I have a few cards which had no money or much less than what I purchased them for. I reported it to the company and got a response on only some of the items. After multiple calls to their customer service number, some-one finally answered (I always left messages to have my calls returned, but they never were), and I was told my refunds would be processed within two weeks. That was months ago; I have never received my refunds (I'm owed about $200 in total); and I have not been able to contact a living person again.
EJ Gift Cards offers gift cards at exceptional discounted value superior than other competitors. Even though you need to make direct payments via Zelle, there has never been an issue. Gift cards were always issued almost immediately upon transfer of funds via secured digital download. There were a few times where the purchased gift cards issued were invalid which was resolved expeditiously without question. Overall a wonderful service.

Got out of this purchase what I came for... well almost. Honey normally lets me buy exactly what I need but had none to offer this time around. I could only buy Office Depot cards in $25 denominations at EJ. No worries I'll just stack enough to pay for my OD purchase. EJ was a smooth quick transaction. What OD and EJ don't tell you is that you cannot use more than 5 in a single transaction until you attempt it. Luckily, I only bought 5 gift cards so I didn't get screwed that way but OD also treats their rewards as... you guessed it - gift cards. It was another $11+ off I was counting on when I decided to make the purchase and using it first declines the last EJ purchased gift card. Luckily, I could remove my OD rewards but now I'll never use them before expiration. I would not have purchased the 5th gift card if I had know as I could have saved more money than the gift card discount. Please put up a warning about OD as this became a little stressful trying to use them.
