Be extra careful filing your taxes online. If you have used E-File in the past, don't confuse it with Efile. I did... and before my taxes were submitted I realized my mistake. They refused to refund my money and stated it is for the preparation of my taxes not for filing them. I call BS!
I purchased e-file because I wanted to file electronically. I have a pretty simple tax return but when I went to file it kept kicking it out saying I was missing my adjusted gross income number. The error message suggested that I go online and audit my last year which I did and I got the AGI for my prior year and put it down and it's still kicked it out. It is my opinion that e-file has a issue because even the customer service representative said that they're having lots of problems with the AGI. They are definitely less expensive than the other programs that you can purchase that compete with e-file but in the end you get what you pay for.
I entered all information correctly and reviewed W2 forms before sending in. After I submitted my taxes, I printed a copy for myself and it had my income at $1. WTF! I had to amend my tax return which was a pain! I DO NOT recommend this company.
I thought I needed an extension and looked up tax extensions online for my tax place I go to and this place was the first to pop up. I was told I had to pay 34 dollars and after paying I found out I didn't need to pay anything when I called my irs department. I am very upset and I hope for a refund because I was never supposed to pay for anything and I now don't even need an extension because I got my insurance information in on file. I hope they will send a refund if so I will give them 5 stars.
This site is no good. Their service is good but they have no customer service. I used them for 3 years, and this was the last. Last year, and this year, they sent me a promo code saying 50% off prep and filing. This year, when I got my refund, I found they charged me full price. Upon further scrutiny, they got away with it last year. I tried to email them several times and they never responded or refunded what they over charged. This was almost 5 months ago. Just letting everyone know... BUYER BEWARE! NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. I hope this helps others.
Out of all the online websites this one gave the biggest return out of everyone highly recommended I paid a little bit but I gained three times more than their competitors
Its free until its not then you find they charge of any non standard filing, adding uic etc costs money
Sent a screen shot of their charge on their website on my account and they didn't even file it and never responded to my screen shot
