Contacted by a scammer literally within the first 5 minutes of profile being active... via my personal number (so they had full membership in order to see my cell number). Hassled me to click on a site to do a background check - did I mention their job offer was too good to be true? Bunch of vultures on there... please stay away, don't click on links, delete your profile or better yet - save yourselves the hassle of registering on their site!
My daughter got a 'job' through this site. The woman advertised that she had 2 kids and was offering 120 euros a week. Turned out she had four kids, gave 50 euros, had no interest in her kids whatsoever, forced my daughter to prepare food, clean, iron, teach her kids an hour of piano and english a day EACH. She was made to work from 7 am to 10 pm at night. No break for two weeks. She was ill and exhausted. She literally escaped after two weeks of hell. Complete disaster. This site is a scam.
Spent money here, but my profile was never upgraded to reflect it. No way of contacting the company. Website is crap, 95% of profiles are fake. Feel horrible to have registered here without reading about them first.
Do not pay ANY money to them.
Scammer contacted me today with a job offer - I haven't used this site in years! When I told them I am working full time as a nanny so only available for babysitting they then said that's fine? Then proceeded to tell me they need to check my criminal record before proceeding. I then told them that I usually arrange an informal interview where I would bring all my certificates and it would also give me a chance to meet the children (childcare works both ways, (we choose who I work with or not)
Scammer wasn't happy with that and wanted to check my record online through a link HE sent me! That's a big no no!
The number he contacted me on is +44 7520 *******! Be aware! Don't get fooled!
I registered in December 2008. If you google my name my personal details and pictures of my family comes up under Easy aupair. Com. It is wrong for this to happen this information was intended for registered aupairs to view and not everyone from any part of the world. I would urgently like my details to be removed. Please advise.
I applied for this website, because I'm trying to be an Au Pair in another country. And when I got families, the first thing should have been that the country I chosen, the families weren't in it. Then I chose to google the address and scammers popped up as the first thing. I keep getting these scam letters from "famlies' I basically deleted my profile in hopes that they'll leave me alone. One of the worst sites I have ever applied on. I really wish I had known about this beforehand... ugh..
This site is full of scammers, maybe even worse... i got 2 emails: one from a woman (?) who was literaly giving me the "job" even if we had never ever spoken together, one from a "dad" who said he offered £2500 at arrival + £400pw to look after one child 15 hours per week; he attached photos that looked just fake as hell. Be very very careful because it might be full of insane people, perhaps some of them don't only want money from you...
To find a family, I recommend Aupairworld, I already found 2 honest and real! Families through that site and worked for both of them for several months each. If you want to go far from home, contact an agency, it's safer. But seriously, stay away from that site.
I signed up last year, when I was looking for an au pair position. It suddenly seemed as if my account had been hacked, as someone was manipulating it and sending messages to families that I wasn't even interested in working with. I used the "Report" button to let them know about what was happening, but they didn't even bother to reply... so I tried to delete my profile. I can't remember if they actually erased it, but it was all so wrong that I decided to write about this on my profile description, in case some people would read it and be warned.
Yesterday I got an email from them... a year later! And it was just this sort of automatized emails to advertise their website! WTF? I replied and told them to please get rid of my data and stop bothering me... but I don't think they'll ever listen.
There doesn't seem to be any way to report these scammers... Justice should do something to fill this gap. I'm lucky I didn't pay them a cent for their $#*!ty service.
Stay away!
I am now a full registered member in easyaupair and can see the tentative aupair's number. I tried calling atleast 20 numbers either nobody picks or say this number doesn't exist. One number replied me after seeing my missed call. Itturned out that she never posted in easyaupair and working in a marketing company... total SCAM... i need my money back asap
I've paid 31 Euros to register as family. I'mnot gettign any more applicants now than whnI hadn't handed over the money, and none of the au pairs match the profile I requested. Waste of money... think I'll use a real agency next time.
Scammers scammers scammers! Stay away from easy aupair i almost lost 550€ to a family that doesn't exist telling me to send the money to myself in UK and scan and send the transaction receipt via email.
Apparently they're too good at scamming having a fake attorney by the name Barrister Susan. Wattford send me some application form and a workpermit to p fill in and sign i am still in shock, those papers looked legit only to find out it was a scam.
There is something very wrong about this site!
They charge over £40 for membership and even though you can register for free. Registration ONLY isn't any good.
We got bucket loads of applicants BUT very few were even close matches! The ten or so that were we replied to in a prompt fashion and didn't even get one response NOT ONE. They send you every few days, supposed exact match Au Pairs that turn out to be anything BUT.
A WASTE OF MONEY AND EVEN WORST WASTE OF TIME... DON'T BOTHER!
I registered with this website in march 2013 as well as a few other au pair sites. I based my profile around my prefered country and also in that language. I received countless au pair scam emails from families who weren't even in my chosen country not only on the site but to my personal email address! I found a host family on the site (only family who werent a scam) and moved in may 2013. I had to leave after only a month as the family were abusive, irrational and didn't pay me. I found no way of complaining about the family through the site, only a report button which doesn't go into details. I am sad to see that the family are still on the site aswell as the scamers. I f you are thinking about au pairing stay well away from this site!
I signed up to this site to find an au pair or nanny, wrote a profile and saved it. My first grumble was that the photo upload function didn't seem to work. I noticed far more ads and applicants didn't have photos than on other sites I've also signed up with. It all looked less professional than the other sites I have joined.
The following day I saw 6 messages in my inbox and was keen to reply to some of them. Despite reservations over the site administration, I clicked on the button to subscribe for the 3 month membership.
When I refreshed after purchasing, I found I was unable to log back in using my standard email address and password. The "forgotten password" function claimed that none of my email addresses were registered with the site. As my profile is still listed there and I have the email receipt for my purchase, this is clearly not true.
I have tried to contact easyaupair using the *******@easyaupair.com address and *******@easyaupair.com addresses listed on their site but both bounced. I have now sent a message to the anti-scam address which is the only other one I can find.
Wish I had read the many negative reviews before paying anything. Hope I can get my money back.
Rubbish rubbish rubbish - been trying to unsubscribe from their annoying emails for 9 months and can't get rid of them - do not touch!
Ain't anything true bout this site! Full of scammers! Hope y'all die! Y'all making people hope for nothing! Y'all just bunch of losers! LOSERS!
Absolute $#*!. Only Filipino's replying. And scammers..
