Duffy's Key West

We made the mistake of entering this place with our daughter on Mother's Day.
My daughter is allergic to many food items. Peanut, egg, and mostly all seafood. Being this mainly a seafood place which we wanted to eat and our daughter cannot. We decided to get her something at the Subway that is right across the street from this place. All we got for her was a couple of pieces of ham, some shredded cheese and a bottle of chocolate milk.
We entered the restaurant and sat at one of their benches. My daughter just spread the wrapping that says Subway all over it on the dining table to start eating her food and the waitress approaches us in a very unfriendly manner to tell us that she could not eat her food there. My wife immediately told her that we had to leave and she said yes you have to leave. You are going to cross contaminate our restaurant!
With some food from their neighbor Subway?!
They lost, the money I was going to spend there and they have lost this review.
I have been to hundreds of restaurants in the US, not to say thousands. We go out every weekend. I have never encountered anything like this. We found this to be offensive, disappointing and on a minimal expression: inhumane.
I know that there are millions of affected people with food allergies out there. I wish there would be more places in this world that realize this, and not fall into ignorance!
