Drill Batteries

Purchased a Dyson replacement battery,it only worked properly for 7 months. This company will not honour 12 month replacement warranty. They said because it is over 6 months old we have to pay half for a new one. When I explained the Australian Consumer guarantee of 12 months they ignore it.
Cheaply made battery, terrible customer service after purchase. It would have been better to purchase genuine dyson and get a proper 2 year warranty. This company is not Australian even though the website appears to be. Don't waste you money with this seller.

Do not use this company. I helped my dad try to purchase a battery for an old drill he liked on Nov. 26th and we haven't received anything. I tried contacting through their website, to their email *******@drillbatteries.com, and their email listed on the paypal receipt 3 times each. Never got a single response.

I ordered 2 drill batteries and then came across all these negative reviews.
Of course I became worried but was hopeful for a smooth transaction. Eventually I emailed the seller to adjust my purchase (1 instead of 2 batteries) and they did respond saying they would make the change.
15 business days later I received 2 batteries instead of 1.

Honestly, I was expecting to be scammed and need to call my credit card company to cancel the transaction but in the end it was an ok purchase.
Batteries work and are in good condition, they came in the mail in the time frame the website details, and if you read all the fine print on the website... it does say that once you place your order you cannot change it (even though I tried). So they stayed true to what they published.
Considering the batteries I bought are no longer in production... this website was the only source I could find and it worked out in the end.

Ordered 2 18V Craftsman type Nicd batteries from them. They shipped me 2 Nihm batteries, that won't work in my charger. I contacted them, and they said they would work in my charger, even though a note in the box said specifically Not to use that type of charger. I begged them to send the batteries I ordered, but after a month of haggling, they agreed to credit me back including return shipping. I knew this was going to be trouble, but I returned them anyway. BIG mistake. They received them over a month ago, and they're customer service people admit this, They now are ignoring my requests for action on this fiasco, and I'm out around $100

I also ordered a battery that the website said would fit my drill. It did not fit, and the packaging slip had the wrong price on it. I sent it back at their instructions. It's been three weeks and I not only do not have a refund, but they will not respond to repeated emails. Do not do business with this company.

An update a few weeks later: Continued to email this company, still no response. Allegedly, the battery was drop-shipped from Imax Expert. I contacted that company who claimed they were not associated with Drillbatteries.com, but their websites are suspiciously similar. They told me the only contact with drillbatteries.com was an email address, *******@hotmail.com, so I started emailing that person as well. No surprise, no response. I filed a BBB complaint on the company, and then went to my credit card company who looked into it and told me that this company has been identified as a scam. The credit card company then issued a refund to me and was going after drillbatteries.com to get their money back. Do not trust this company!
