August 11th. So much small print it's hard to keep tabs with what's going on. We "rented" with this broker for a car to pick up at Del Paso rentals in Malaga but didn't see the part that said, if you are delayed and fail to meet the car rental place within 2 hours after pick up time, the entire booking will be cancelled and you lose everything. We then had to pay the same again direct with the rental firm. Disgraceful small print. What difference does it make if you are late but still arrive ag the car depot within opening hours. DoYouSpain? I'll go to Spain bit never with this firm.

DO NOT make the mistake of renting a car with this people, you are going to end up spending twice as much as the original renting fee you get online, I rented a car for 2 days, at the reservation time the toatl amount to pay was 167 euros, I went to the office to pick up the car and they started adding hiding fees and the price went up to almost 400 euros, I needed the car right away so I had no choice and no time to look for another company, plus they give you a limit of kilometers, something I haven't seen before with other car renting companies, rent car else where

Disgusting experience. Reference: DYS-*******.

I was in a hurry to rent a car. Went through the checkout process which was straightforward, got charged for €118.66 for 3 days + insurance. Got an email 5 minutes later saying I should pick up my car from Europcar. Got there, shared all the details with them and they said they can't give me a car because I paid with a debit card and I didn't have a credit card on me. I was told to call DoYouSpain and cancel my booking and get my money back. After 20 minutes I finally got through to an agent and explained the whole situation and asked for a refund. He kept saying that there's nothing he can do because in the terms and conditions it said you must have a credit card. Obviously I am furious, not only did I not miss my appointments, I got scammed to pay for a service which didn't work. What have I been charged for? I told the representative on the call if I'm not refunded my money back. I will post a bad review, because this is very unfair. I didn't have time to read your terms and conditions because I was in a hurry and you don't make it clear and obvious either on the checkout process, it's obvious why not, profiteering of people in similar positions. All this happened in the span of 30 minutes. I have never experienced such bad service anywhere else and this is my first bad review. I was sure that I wouldn't have a problem getting my money back because that's how legit companies operate, they rely on good and honest service. Lastly, I will happily remove this review if I get my money back. Shame on you.

I rented a car for 15 days and arranged to collect on Saturday at 2.30pm. I received an email from doyouspain.com saying "In this case the amount of the excess for your booking is 1750 €. On arrival you'll be required to leave a credit card authorization to cover this value." When I went to collect the car the rental company said they actually needed to take a payment of €1750. I told them the email said it would just be an authorization and they said it was a mistake by doyouspain.com in the email.

So they tried to actually charge my card the €1750 instead of just authorize it and it was declined by the bank which is understandable for such a large amount. It should be an authorization, not a charge. I said I would need to go home and phone the bank and explain why they are charging such a large amount instead of just an authorization like normal rental companies etc and then come back but they said they were closing so it was not possible. So I said I would collect the car on Monday and they said it is not possible also as I had to collect the same day (even though it was only 2.30pm at that time) so I would just loose the whole booking!

I phoned doyouspain.com when I got home 20 minutes later and they just repeated that they would not do anything and just keep my whole 15 days booking charge. I said even I will accept to loose the two days and collect on Monday for just 13 days without any refund but even they still refused to help. This is complete theft from this disgusting company who should be ashamed of themselves.

Made our booking online,1st to 5th October 23.mallorca Spain, price based on small Peugeot 108,£80.68 with full insurance, pretty simple so far. Got to airport to pick up car from goldcar rental desk as instructed,now the stress starts,waiting in a queue with ticket number to be called up, waited a good hour only to get to the desk and submit all my details again just like a new booking,and asked for a further £264 euro's w t f,£116 made up as a fuel charge,full tank given and part payment taken on return of what ever is left in tank, this time over half a tank on return, I get that charge, people at desk not that helpful given a stated i booked online, there response was book direct in future. Another part of extra charges was for airport tax,IM NOT IN THE AIRPORT,im travelling the country,.we have been to mallorca three times this year payed online with another company price online is what it is,and on arrival proved id,picked keys up and enjoyed my break,
If anybody has heard of viagogo then do you spain operate in the same way shame they do not put reviews on there home page, fell ive been scammed.

DO YOU SPAIN - CAR HIRE - SCAM
Be warned these people are pure scammers and will take your money and laugh behind your back – can't proof they 'work' with hire companies but they would know what's going on – for sure.
Made this booking in July 2022 at Malaga airport
They 'will' find you a cheap deal but don't have cars themselves - it's a comparison type website - so they 'book' with a hire company on your behalf.
So, you book with DYS, and add premium excess insurance cover and additional driver and then honestly assume DYS will then deal with the actual hire company - big mistake to assume this. Hire company does not recognise DYS insurance etc and they, DYS, do not inform the hire company.
You will end up paying twice for the one hire - surprise DYS and the hire company just blame each other - and then blame you for trusting them
I have rented cars, across Europe, for decades and used multiple hire companies – first time tried DYS – and the last

I have used this company for many years and have always had a positive response even when things go wrong…. As they do!
However their latest '$#*! show' has told me that loyalty is totally overrated.
My son had an allergic reaction which required me to take him to a&e some 13 hrs before my rental started. As a committed mother of 4 I moved my flight to later that day to make sure my son was ok. I contacted DYS to inform them and also the supplier. I was told to produce proof which I did thanks to my 19year old son driving to the hospital whilst o was in transit. I sent it all and was reassured that as long as I was not more than 6 hrs late the rental would be fine (we paid upfront). When I arrived well within the 6 hrs grace, I was the.man told by the rudest person ever that the car was no longer available (Goldcar). How could it not be available when I had booked for 5 days and was there within time frame?
Do you spain have refused a refund due to the fact I put it in my partners name and he is not blood related to my child.
So basically Gold car now have £120 of our and will then hire this car to someone else for xxxxx pounds.
I have always stood by do you spain but I'm afraid that's it for me.

I wrote them on the survey they sent me. I know that my comment will never touch DYS which I consider is a dishonest and fraudulent company. There is no consideration to customer!
"I am very unsatisfied by the way you present the various option on your web site. There is no limit of mileage on the presentation as many lessors do. They inform people about limited or unlimited mileage before booking is made. You inform people on the voucher after booking by saying them there is a limit of mileage by 300km per day first but limited at 3000km per booking which is another awkward and unacceptable stuff. This is a kind of presentation destinated to mislead "intentionally" the customer. I disagree with this commercial behavior obviously destinated to take advantage of the customer's credulity and trust. It's also strange that it is impossible to answer you email or to contact you directly by email, nor by phone... This means again that you intentionally lock the door to any face-to-face communication."

I am very unhappy, and feel betrayed.
I made a car rental reservation for our holiday with DouYouSpain.com because of their promise on the website: "Lowest Price - Guaranteed: From the day you order until the day of your trip, we'll beat any other quote you receive".

A day after the reservation I come across a much better offer for the same car, and ask DoYouSpain to beat the quote I received. They say they will not beat the quote because the price they quoted is allready a discount price. To me this is just making up excuses - so they do not have to uphold their lowest price guarantee policy.

- The price of the order from DoYouSpain EURO 869,60 + Supplement Charge EURO 1.000,00 = EURO 1.869,60 total
- The price of the quote from Discovercars.com EURO 864,68 + Supplement Charge EURO 560,00 = EURO 1.424,68 total

They say there are no hidden extrs's when hiring a car from them, a) not only is the price incorrect but when collecting your car you are hit with a full tank of petrol over 100euros.

WORST DEALS OUT THERE! We just booked a car/suv it said 160 euros for 2 weeks. When we arrived to collect the car booked on doyouspain the car co charged us another 260 for the car insurance, plus airport fee 40 euros and 80 euros for petrol and some small extra charge. In total we paid almost 600 euros for 2 weeks for the car. The same car I booked directly with the company I went too last time after they also emailed me a promo code 20% off for joining their points club, cost me 329 euros total, total (full coverage insurance, petrol, airport charge etc TOTAL no deposit or anything weird) with also 125 of it coming back to me when I return the car with full petrol. HUGE difference! Please book directly with the company you choose up front if you see their name next time, join their clubs and gets better deals directly. Of course a middle man will make the price higher! So disappointing to think that I was saving money shopping on doyouspain only to realize I was being ripped off for years, sad.

Do not use this site, you will be ripped off and pay double or triple more.
Look up highly rated car hires on google based on customer reviews and go direct its half the price!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING COMPANY

Hello, my name is Rafael Lopez and I want to make it clear that this company is a total FRAUD AND SCAM. I made a "reservation" through the website and they actually debited my credit card instantly. The reason for my discomfort is that I could not go to pick up the car since I got sick with COVID-19 and I could not travel to Spain... By different routes I have tried to recover the 389 dollars that they STOLEN, I wrote them emails, calls by phone and nothing no matter how hard they do not want to RETURN THE MONEY that one earns with so much effort. This company has no compassion for anything or anyone... Please do not waste your money and avoid being STOLEN and SCAMMED, it is a shame. Unfortunately I gave up claiming the money and I have been in this situation for 3 months. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING COMPANY

Del Passo Car hire at Malaga Airport, DYS's third party, refused to accept my EU photocard licence,asking for an International Driving Licence. They said that they coud waive this,if i took the additional insurance of 274 Euros. Total scam and fraud. Customer service is non existet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have lost all of my money for the rental.and no car!

Hired a car through 'Do You Spain' / Okay Mobility, My flight got delayed / abandonded but managed to catch the flight 2 days later, emailed and rang do you spain to try and adjust the booking for 2 days ahead, I never recieved any replies, the phones just ring out, okay-mobility answered the phone when i contacted them and told me 'do you spain' would not answer any calls and that the car and my money (£450) were lost and its pointless going any further, I'd strongly recomend you NOT to use either of these compainies

WARNING: AVOID DOYOUSPAIN CAR RENTAL!

I had the most infuriating experience with Doyouspain car rental in Santiago de Compostela. They not only accepted my booking with a debit card but also failed to mention that they have strict requirements like needing a credit card in the driver's name and not allowing a change of driver. Talk about false advertising!

And if that wasn't bad enough, the subsidiary they work with had the audacity to demand more money for insurance on top of everything. It's like they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of customers.

Long story short, I ended up losing my hard-earned money and precious time dealing with their nonsense. Instead of exploring and enjoying my trip, I was stuck battling their ridiculous policies and hidden fees.

Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Doyouspain car rental. There are plenty of reputable companies out there that actually prioritize customer satisfaction and honesty. Spread the word and let's make sure no one else falls victim to their scammy tactics! #Doyouspain #CarRentalNightmare

Arrived at PMI airport at the gold car counter last Friday evening 23rd.June
Gave in my DoYouSpain voucher with insurance 340.00.euros.
Driving license,passport,debit card (master)
I was informed in a very aggressive manner that my Doyouspain insurance was invalid and my debit card was not excepted.
The only way that I would receive my rented car would be if I paid them 285.00.euros for a new gold car insurance.
I tried to phone my agent at Doyouspain without success because of the office hours at that time of night.
I told the gold car counter that I refused to pay such an extra amount for insurance that I had already bought from DYS.
And would contact my DYS agent the next day…
And return for my car then.
The next day Saturday I was informed by Goldcar that my voucher was cancelled and any further information I would have to deal with DYS.
It's bin one week and I still have no positive news from DYS…
And with one week left of our holiday I don't hold out much hope of a rental car or in fact any re-enbursment…

You are a rip off, We got to Malaga and was refused the car because we would not pay nearly 300 uros we were told my driving license was not good enough we needed an international license, we argued that nowhere does it state that our UK license was no longer valid and as We booked from uk there was nothing to say UK drivers needed to get this additional license, further more the person at the airport was rude and made it quite clear he was not intrested in that there was nothing on the doyouspain website, when we called the telephone number we spoke to somene who said his name was Mathew his employee number was 5000 and when we said the same he just said we no longer accept uk drivers license and when asked where on the website he said he didnt know

Work with different contacts for you and the rental company, high extra cost, don't have the car you rent, it's to good to be true so it is not true.

Booked 28 days car hire with company OKMobility sept-Oct 2022 through DoyouSpain website. Worst experience ever in hiring cars at Alicante airport ( Been hiring cars here for over 16 years). Car in v poor condition on pick up- rental agreement with no Terms and conditions, pre-existing damage to car not marked on the rental agreement, also some damage recorded on the agreement was actually on the other side of the car! Staff refused to update or amend or add the existing unrecorded damage to the contract, told to take pictures/video of the entire car- black car in dimly lit car park at 10.00 at night!,returned the car- was checked by OK mobility staff, told all Ok. Asked for receipt to confirm satisfactory return- not forthcoming! 2 days later 200 euro charge to credit card, no communication whatsoever from the company. Completely outrageous behavior. No response by Okmobility to phone calls emails etc. finally got brokerDoyouSpain company to pursue with Ok to provide explanation... charge for damage -scratch to wheel rim! Totally unacceptable practices on every level. How can a customer be expected to sign a rental agreement at collection which is entirely inaccurate and incomplete? How can a charge be made to a customer 2 days after the car was returned and signed off as fine? Tried to resolve with Doyouspain and Okmobility- neither interested in addressing the matter with anything other than a minimal response- and confirmation of the charge- no evidence of damage provided. Totally unreasonable, unscrupulous and untrustworthy behavior- I would warn other customers not to use these outlets which would appear to be devoid of any basic sense of integrity. Furthermore, customers should purchase annual car hire excess insurance in the UK ( about 40 pounds rather than the highly inflated cost of additional insurance charged by hire companies), to protect against damages or arbitrary charges to clients not purchasing additional insurance cover added by companies to enhance profits. Who needs this treatment when traveling or on holiday!

Don't use. When purchasing car hire elsewhere don't buy company 's additional insurance- this is highly inflated . Buy annual policy online . This is essential to cover any damages or additional charges made by car hire companies
