This clinic is ok overall, however do not use Dr Vanessa Choy. However Vanessa Choy was then professional when dealing with my dog. She did not really seem to know what she was doing, and when I asked for an explanation from her, she was unclear and rude. I subsequently had to take my dog to another vet who was far more courteous, professional and was able to help her out. Luckily the problem was resolved- but avoid at all costs!

DO NOT USE VANESSA CHOY or THIS CLINIC FOR THAT MATTER!. She has been reported to CVO (The College of Veterinarians of Ontario) for slandering my name to my new vet. She refused to settle the case before it goes to the board. No apology extended to me for the humiliation she has caused me. Vanessa Choy and Wendy Eveleigh (manager of the clinic) USELESS MANAGER are responsible for cancelling my animals dental surgery because they felt i was asking too many questions. The news was given to me via email. They are COWARDS for not picking up the phone and telling me in person. They hide behind a keyboard and tap keys and think that is acceptable behaviour. That is some GREAT customer service! I will put the letter at the end of my review for you to see how they treat a customer after being a patient for over 12 years.

They have a receptionist there named Diana. She doesn't even greet you when you walk in the clinic. I don't think she likes men.

Dear Sir (don't want to put my name here)

After consulting with the Medical Team, we have decided at this point in time to cancel your animal's dental procedure.

Our intention is to always provide the best possible care for our client's pets at a fair and reasonable fee. I believe that we have fulfilled this position. It is apparent to me that you are not of the same mind. In order for us to continue to provide this type of care, there must be an element of trust between our hospital, our staff and the client. In your case this element of trust seems to be lacking.

Until this is resolved, we are not comfortable moving forward with your dog's dental procedure.

Please contact the hospital, at your convenience, for us to issue a refund of your deposit.

My lack in trust is lacking per Wendy's email. I wonder why. My dog leaves the clinic with green puss coming out of his eyes and another time his skin on his nose was peeled off,. And not one person says anything to me. I wonder why. Maybe I should of paid for a consultation for something they are negligent for. The doctor told the tech to put a towel over the cage. A responsible clinic would of called me and told me what my dog was doing and let me decide what to do. I would of rather taken him home knowing they had a cage that had bars with sharp edges. Throwing a towel is not an option to me. And once again I have to say "Do they really care for the animals or just the $$$$ "

I challenge the clinic to say anything stated above as being incorrect. I have documentation that they sent to my new vet to confirm what i have said is *******@TorontoDowntownAnimalHospital
