It is a fabulous site but one thing discredits it. You can be cut right off without any explanation and no chance to appeal. I once in an ad said I would love a travel mate and would pay for her flight and hotel. It would be the same as inviting someone to dinner and expecting them to pay for their own meal. Not classy! I felt it only decent that if I am inviting someone to travel with me I should pay for it. Doublelist took that as paying for a prostitute and that was not my purpose at all. Very unfair! Now I say nothing even remotely like that.
I post for dominant males, but receive photos of nude guys on all fours. WTF. I have a collection of email address of fakes who don't seem to remember emailing me before. They often have these symbols € £¥₩. Don't fall for the 20 yr olds whose search parameter is 18-80 and wants a face pic first before sending theirs.
Most of the messages I get are from scam artists or guys who don't care that I'm looking for a woman and not a man. And when you tell them you're not looking for a man they try to talk me into it anyway. It's really annoying. In the time I've been on here I've not met one female in person.
