I sent an email to dmv.com asking a question about registering a vehicle in Florida. I sent it because there was in invitation to ask questions for more information. They sent me back an immediate response of "go to florida" exactly as I typed it, no capital letters, no punctuation. Just this snarky, wise $#*! answer. Very unprofessional, and I would no recommend using this website for anything.
I paid $30 to receive a bogus report that told me there wasn't anything list on my driving record. I wasn't looking up my driving record to see if there was anything on it or not, I was looking up my report to verify the date that a specific incident had occurred. TOTAL SCAM stay away and warn as many others as you can.
*EDIT*
They did refund me the money I had paid after some back and forth emails along with the proof of my driving record from dmv.us.org. I would still suggest that you use dmv.us.org. Much more reliable and price was only $1 for for my record.
I had such an amazing experience with the driving instructor Mikey. He was very nice and a great teacher. He had great advice and made me far less nervous than how I started out. I wasn't a huge fan of the lines and the long wait. Other than that, getting my license was easy and simple.
Very helpful the waiting time was short clean office I would recommend this office to my friends and family
I had Eric as my examiner, he is very thorough, very helpful, friendly and excellent character. I highly recommend him
I was taking my test for my permit and they say you can miss 5 nope I only missed my last question and it said I failed.
All of the information is outdated - nothing but a damaging website that should be taken down. They can't even get correct locations for the state DMVs. Just go to your state's DMV website and do not waste your time with this one.
I went there to get a knowledge test, they said there are no available computers and they are very busy. The next day i found an appointment, there were 10 free computers, no people. Questions in the tests are pointless, all they do is as difficult as they can.
Useless agency - rude people!
People wake up let's vote them out!
I ordered the Study Guide, Practice Test and Cheat Sheet (most used questions on DMV test) and the Test does not work properly. There is no way to gauge whether you are doing well or failing. I tried to contact DMV.com at their "CONTACT US" link and he phone number will not be answered. 24 hrs a day, its recording will you that due to high call volume that they cannot answer your call, they further tell you to use the email address instead. Of course I am not getting a reply from them on the email either. Anyway being scammed out of approx $60. Dollars is a lesson learned. Read reviews before you pay for any service on line. All the reviews I saw today were the lowest. Had I read them before I paid, I would not have used their services.
There was nobody working most of the counters and this is disturbing to me because of how high my taxes are the people at the dmv need to pull themselves together I don't give them my tax dollars so I can spend 3 hours in the dmv the lines are extremely long and don't move at all
They deceive you, take your payment information, charge you without even finalizing transaction and there is no contact available. When filling out the "contact us" via email they force you to fill out a survey to get more personal info from you and if you dont they dont accept your question!
I went to the DMV location off 30th street near Busch Gardens to get a new copy of a title for an enclosed trailer and they told me they didn't have an appointment available for 2 days. I drove to Pasco county to the Land o lakes location and I walk out with the title with in 30 minutes.
Hillsborough county needs someone to run this department that understands customer service.
My family member was tricked by this site when he wanted to renew his license. This comes up early in search results and their whole "not affiliated with government" disclaimer" isn't enough to offset what looks like an official site, with official-looking links like "Renew your license" front and center. This is especially easy to confuse people with when they're using mobile phones to access the site but pretty bad on full-size computer views, too. They charge rates that are close to if not exactly the same as an actual license renewal, but you're not getting a license renewal! They still charged $3.99 "processing" when we called to say this wasn't what we thought it was. This site probably makes most of its money on "processing" fees and the rest on poor schmucks who don't realize they're not actually getting the service they're looking for. It's abhorrent that DMV.com is allowed to operate.
Folks, wake-up and smell the coffee or ammonia salts!
This site is a data troller. They are taking your personal information and doin' God knows what! Do ur homework and look-up ones respective states' DMV or RMV.
The extra charges for renewing vehicles online is complete ripoff of California residents! I get notice by mail to renew my 11-yr-old trailer registration for $133. If register online, it costs $167! The extra $34 is various e-handling fees. The price of vehicle registration in the state is already way over the top, and now they want yet more money. And, they get my money sooner and can collect interest on the money that much sooner and longer. With 40M people in the state, that is serious cash.
Meanwhile, private companies (mortgage, credit cards, etc) beg me to do all my transactions online AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Just another reason why people are so annoyed at the way they are being represented and "served" by government.
If only a zero rating was possible.
First of all, I'm so sick of this place that I have lost count of how many times I have gone since I started driving! I got my license in May and they said in 3 weeks I'll get my actual license but it has been 3 months! I have called many times, and I have been on hold for a long time and it is just so infuriating when it is urgent! My provisional license expires next week and they just take their time when somethings are actually urgent af!
I am aa 16 year old girl who wishes to be like her friends and others and get her permit. I have been 16 for almost 4 months, and have yet to let the dmv give me my permit of numerous reason. Not only is their website incconvient but so our the people that work there. I was told on website that they were trying their hardest to meet my requests and still haven't been able to print out confirmation paper. I have stayed on the website refreshing for 3 days straight. And I have also made multiple rescudles because the dmv does not know how to please people and do their job.
The greeters by in large are not trained enough to give proper advise related to proper paperwork required to register a vehicle or boat. Some of them have attitudes from the get-go. They have been an issue for YEARS! Multiple trips are necessary due to this and there is no criteria FOR the proper paperwork. Then they block you from coming in when you do have the proper paperwork. Nick M. Should do a better job in hiring or promoting current employees. The supervisors are no better! BEWARE!
Hear are voice and help us
We the people need the system to be changed for daily walkens. I do not want to fuss I want resolution not us all. Not just one individual
The DMV website is total junk, if I could give it ZERO stars I would. I have never encountered such a pile of dung as theirs, EVERYTIME I log on to use it I encounter difficulty, if its not the field not accepting what you typed in, it doesn't know how to count. You are supposed to get three logins but often if you make the slightest error, you are locked out. 3 means 1 in their world. No one else's website security comes close to their incompetence. Today I tried to change the insurance information on one of my vehicles, it accepted the NAIC code but when I tried to enter the next block, it still reflected the OLD INSURANCE COMPANY! WTF! Fix this or get rid of it, tired of dealing with it!
Answer: Need my money back
