So far so good with the ordering process. Delivery will be key.

Delivery executed without any issues and within the given time window. The 2 guys, one older man and what seemed to be his younger helper, were very nice and professional and they removed all the packaging and took it away with them! The wine cooler went right in its slot and everything looks great. The tablet they used to record the transaction was very efficient so the whole delivery only took about 10 minutes, maybe less. It makes me happy to be able to shop locally and receive such great service and communication.

Simple. Effective.

I was uncomfortably surprised when the truck arrived. The crew chose not to use the liftgate. Rather, they used an appliance hand-truck to lower the washer off the loading-dock height truck to the ground. Then the helper hoisted the dryer onto his back and walked it up the driveway, while the driver descended to the ground and re-trucked the washer to roll it up the driveway, and into the garage.

The other issue I had was that the 3rd piece of the order, a stacking kit, to securely attach the dryer on top of the washer. I really had expected it to be attached to either of the other two boxes with industrial saran wrap. I went online to fine the stacking kit where I learned it was sent vie FedEx. My second surprize was that it wasn't *scheduled* to arrive until the following Tuesday 7/5. Fortunately, FedEx delivered it early the next day 7/1 (Friday)!

Why did I write all this? Because I over-reacted to what I thought was going to be a bad experience, which actually turned out to be all right in the end. I normally try not to overreact, but when the washer-dryer is on the fritz, domestic tranquility is hanging from a brittle thread. My wife had already had to make two trips to the laundromat. There are few places less pleasant than a laundromat on a hot June evening...

But I saved a bunch-o-money compared to the local stores who see a couple walk in with targets on their foreheads, because their laundry room is down for the count!
