That creates fake designer to win them abandoned contest, my dog is better designer than them
Most of Contests gets cancelled or Closed after getting thousands of design ideas. Not ideal for Designers. A Designer wastes hours on a project and Ending up like this is very frustrating. I think 80% of Contests on this site are Spam wasting time of Designers.
The customer service of designcontest is very best better than mostly freelancing contest's websites.

Positive:
+ nice portfolio page solution with behance connection and a possibility to upload own files.
Negative:
- Very little contests in comparison to other sites,
- jam-packed submissions page making the contest page look crowded,
- poor client-designer communication solutions (on default comments posted with designs are visible to all designers, who feel free to steal it, rework it, tweak it, you name it)
- endless winner selection time (I mean, a month, two months, as long as you want). This is highly irritating to a designer.
Be Careful cheating by fake designers.
Please attention for real designers, dont submit your contest into open contest,
So many cheaters are there,
They just wait and see the highest rating given from owner of the contest, and they submit similar designs like yours.
And maybe more better than yours, and bumpthey won the contest.
I just care about many designers, they spent a lot time, and their day to think about their idea.
Its so suck when cheating by fake designers.
I just give bad comment into fake designer, and leave protest to fake designerand i got my infraction.(greatlol.)
I think this site didnt think about real designers privacy and their ideas.
If this site care,, this site need to protect from cheaters and make all the contest hide by one to another.
Dont show up the submissions, just owner can see it.

I ran over 10 contest with them. In my last 2 contests I never received email stating that I am loosing the deadline for refund frame. They are doing best the keep money and not to refund you! There is better websites than them that will not keep your money.
Client ran 2 contests, not 10, these two contests were started same day. Client ignored emails as to what to do next on expired contests. Client chose to let contest stay expired past 30 days Our refund policy is VERY clear https://www.designcontest.com/refund-policy/ This client let his contest stay expired past 30 days, both contests went expired 5/7/2015, it is now 7/29/2015. Client was sent emails letting him know what next steps are and what he can do. We do not keep money on abandoned contests, the money is split with the designers in the contest. The refund policy states this as well. The client let his contests go expired and stay expired well past 30 days. Refund policy is clear and states section 5. This Guarantee won’t be applicable under any of the following circumstances: If You choose the design as the winner, then the prize funds will be awarded to the designer You have chosen; or You have not commented back to at least 80% of the designers who have submitted their designs; or You have not allowed the contest to run its full initially set duration and closed it before the expiry of the stipulated time; or You are in violation of Our Terms of Service Agreement; or You are in violation of any applicable law; or You enter your own contest as a designer; or You request your refund after (30) thirty days from the contest expiration date; or If after 30 days of the contest reaching deadline, you have failed to choose the winner, your contest is then considered abandoned and the funds will be disbursed amongst one or more of the participating designers of the contest in the manner to be decided by Us in Our sole discretion; I offered to help the client with free upgrades and week on contest but client refused.

Having my logo created by one of the many talented designers that submit to Design Contest was a fantastic experience. I received over 200 designs and had a difficult time deciding on the final winner, because I received so many great designs. I have already recommended the site to some other people that I know are looking to have designs created. Everyone involved was professional and handled things quickly.
I need a little help with the process, contacted support through the phone and live chat, The support team is absolutely wonderful. Support was patient and very helpful! Gave me step by step instructions on the whole process from starting my contest to choosing my winner. I highly recommend this website to anyone needing any type of design. This website is the best! This site has different levels of designers from beginners to to very seasoned designers. My contest had over 300 entries, I paid $275.00 and had my first entries within a couple of hrs.The hardest thing was choosing my new logo, but in the end I have a new logo and it is now being made in to our new marquee sign. I had No problem receiving my design files and even have an AI and eps file for my print company and sign company. I can work directly with my winning designer or any designer I want with an option called a one on one project.
The staff at designcontest.com is wonderful, extremely helpful. I used the help phone several times when starting my contest and as my contest was ending, the support staff helped me with writing my brief, advised me on how to get the most out of my contest, they walked me through how to give feedback and rate my contest entries as well as why it is important to have this interaction with the designers in my contest. I have used other sites like 99 designs but found those sites very hard to work with and the designers constantly used clipart and designs form other designers. The staff on the other sites do not even come close to the staff at designcontest.com. If you ever need ANY design work go to designcontest.com, The site is easy to use as well.
I have used this companies services 3 times and all 3 times were great! If you need logos or webdesign done this is perfect to get some good stuff for a good price.
What you do is you post a job like, "Business Logo with cool graphics and a new spin on this concept" for example, post a price you want to pay and people will try to win the job. As people post their concepts you can tell them what you like or don't like and have them make changes or try something new. The part I really like is being able to pick from like 100 designs and choosing a winner. If you go to a designer you are usually stuck to 2 or 3 concepts for a price.
I have used them for 2 logos and 1 mascot character.
Also the customer service is great, they called me to make sure it was really me and my company, asked if I needed help setting up the job or had any questions. I wasn't expecting that at all but was a great feature!
