Constantly bugging me about ordering a driving record at a much higher cost than the state court cost, charging $10 more than the state's set rate and charging a $10 fee for a simple download on top of that is absolutely ridiculous. On to of that, a two week delivery time for free delivery of a certificate is ludicrous. I won't be using your service again or recommending it.
Simple, Easy, fast. Wish it didn't charge you twice, once for the course and you're chosen delivery method and then again at the end for the download. Be prepared for $50 - $60 instead of the $25 it's advertised as.
The course is fast. The videos are good. The questions are not hard to answer. It's easy to navigate on the website. The program also offers your drivers record for a surcharge.
Paid $35 for the course… which the state says that 25 is the minimum… The course was a little glitchy but it was alright. I got charged an extra 25 dollars for a delivery fee, for an instant download… this isn't stated on the site and I didn't insert my credit card info. Absolutely a SCAM… Beware…
They make you fill our this review to confirm your account. Their supposed 24/7 costumer support line said it was after office hours and did not allow me to leave a voicemail. Th system won't let me log into my account or even send me the reset password link.
I like how the testing site is organized but the breaks and how long you gotta wait to take the next lessons kinda slows a person down but I get that a person cant rush through the testing but is it really necessary? If a person fails or gets a lot of questions wrong that's their fault.
Course was easy which was good but it costs $35 to sign up and $25 to get the certificate of completion. They also try to get you to pay for your drivers license record from their website which is $27 + tax + delivery fee. From your local dps office it's >$12. Overall I had to pay $70 just to use the website, I got my record from the dps office in my city. If you wanna pay $70 to watch videos from the 90s all power to you.
If you have to take a defensive driving course either for insurance or court pourposes take this class. Super simple and straight forward but also is informative. Also if you have any questions regarding your certs the customer service line was very helpful and even saved me from needlessly purchasing a driving record.
I understand defensive driving course material is not exciting stuff. The course is cheesy. However it's better than some super boring person speaking in manatone lecturing you about your driving. The videos make good use of geust speakers and real story's to break up the video into segments to keep the viewer focused. I would say just update some of the content.
The course itself is pretty easy and convenient but it was misleading because they advertise optional instant download but they don't tell you the option is going to cost you $25 until after you are done with the course. The course was $35 and the certificate download is an additional $25 for a total of $55. If I would have known that to download a certificate and print it would have cost me $25, I would have gone to a class where it only costs $25 and you get your certificate right there and then at no additional cost. I don't recommend this course, save $35 (course was $10 more than going to an actual class plus the $25 for the certificate download) and go to a class instead.
NOTE: the up-front prices offered do NOT include an additional fee for expediting your completion certificate. Unless you're willing to cough up an ADDITIONAL $35, you have to wait at least two weeks. Plan accordingly.
Also? It was dated and boring, but I suspect that is pretty much the same across the board.
Many courses offer the same thing for $25 not $35. They try to upsell you the whole time. If you have a temporary license plate don't use it for verification! They make you fill out a Statement of Assurance and get it notarized. I am not very happy with the customer service at all. Don't trust this company!
This course was easy and manageable. The process was not very long and it outlines everything you needed to know. The videos were easy to understand and listen to. I feel the videos are a little out of date and should be upgraded.
The course itself was good, but I am very irritated and disappointed that I still have not received my certificate or my driving record after completing the course and paying.
The videos very informative. I like the detailed information that each section went into. I feel this course will make me a better and more informed driver. I also like the personal stories. They make the information given more real.
I have seen many examples of true experiences on the road and have seen the consequences of bad driving and also driving responsible. Although I knew much of the material presented I am taking it all as if it was my first time. I feel that it was very helpful for me in many ways. I have reflected on the importance of safe driving and that not only do I risk my life but also the life of others if I don't take this seriously.
Lame experience. The 6 exams only give 13 chances to miss overall and once you pay if you missed it won't give you the opportunity to retake. You have to keep paying once you reach 13 incorrect questions.
I finished the course on my one day off of work and put off important school assignments only for the website to be down and not allow me to finish it until I had to email the company. The webpage is terrible. The only reason it isn't getting one star is because the customer service actually responded
The contents of the videos are very clear and it helps a lot preparing you for the quizz. The breaks between sections are necessary and prevent you from rushing and get everything wrong. I was surprised to have some answers among the comments of the 2 people presenting the class. It was a good call to be very focus.
