Items won or bought are faulty. Return information is ambiguous. Loosing several items when almost double of the winning number of bids are used seems "funny"
Especially looking at the number of bids that won the same items at an earlier auction. Several times when I was using my hand held I could not log into the
Automatic bid page. I have used all my bids and will make purchases of items at
Name Stores.
I find the staff at deal dash to be very helpful. They respond very quickly and are professional. I enjoy the site and generally speaking I'm a pretty competitive person. However i do find it disheartening to loose so many auctions to over-bidders. I would like to see something put in-place that would stop a bidder from bidding once they have exceeded the purchase value in bids... the other item i would like to see is for the dashboard to have a way for the user to delete auctions they do not intend to buy... my dashboard can get really cluttered up and it's hard to follow the auctions i really intend to buy it now on! Thank you for asking for my comments. I hope you take them seriously! ~Donna~
I have won a few nice things and customer service people are really nice but they do nothing and the beat goes on. You have a few of their Elite bidders who win every bid they enter. Fair and honest, I don't think so. There is one person, I assume this is a real person who wins day and night. This person must have their own Walmart and now I see they are in the car business. Doesn't these people see they are ruining their own business with the same people winning every day. I have complained and they ask who, like they don't know. I have to bid 300 bids to win my daughter a cheap ring when this person can win a car for under $200.00. It is disgusting, we don't have a chance, why they let this continue is beyond me if the person is real. No one will bid against them, hence they can win a $4500. 00 item for $3.00. I went back at all prior bids and this same person had won every single bid on the board, come dealdash. That is fair and honest alright, what a scam.
As a newbie, even with reading rules, you get excited and lost in it. It was such a great relief to have a live chat available to answer questions without having to dial or wait for an email response. I have several items won now and am waiting for there arrivals. I can't wait and look forward to each day looking and bidding now. Thank you DealDash!
You're welcome Laura and thank you for rating us. Please feel welcome to get in touch anytime for assistance.
I must of had my grandson go to the site and use my info to buy bids. I was surprised that I had a charge of $78. On my credit card.
I immediately contacted Deal Dash and explained the situation and asked for a refund.
They replied within 3 days and an immediate refunds was given.
Excellent customer service.
Hmmmmmmm... maybe my grandson knows something I don't know. I might have to give Deal Dash a second look... at my convenience.
Thank you.
Hi Donna. Thanks kindly, if you wish to give us a try, you're more than welcome!
Been a member for over a year and I have nothing but great things to say. Have gotten some unbelievable deals. It can be frustrating at times, but it's all worth it because the quality of the items is incredible. Is a great site for gifts.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a 5 star review for us Carmen! I'm happy to hear of your great wins and your satisfaction with the quality of our items, Happy Bidding :)
I enjoyed using the auction site but as time went on it was harder and harder to get a good deal as more people joined the website so I was pretty much just paying full price for the 8 or 9 items I was bidding on.
DealDash offers a variety of auctions. The duration of bidding is awful. You already know this and I suspect there is nothing you are going to change. I will continue to play, however this game takes to long.
I like Quibids better. DealDash gets three stars
Tense, joyful... why didn't I place one more bid!
Do you really need more than one of those?
Waiting, pressing the mouse to add one more bid than another. Setting the Bid Buddy and then sometimes cancelling it.
I like that, I need that. Well maybe I don't... but I will try to win it anyway.
I will not spend any more money on bids. Pressing Buy More button.
Wait. Fireworks and I WON! Yippee!
If there is anything wrong with your order they will correct it. I received the wrong item and contacted customer service, they immediately shipped out the correct item and told me to keep the incorrect item as a present from them cause it was their mistake.
Have been playing deal dash for about a month now and it is fun and exciting especially when you win! It would be nice if there could be a limit on how many auctions a person could bid on at the same. Big bid winners seem to keep bidding on all the bid paks making it really hard to compete to win one of them. Just a thought :)
I have been with DealDash for over a year. I enjoy it very much but lately I find that it is hard to win anything. I have however in the past got some great deals on gift cards, appliances etc. i admit that sometimes i get caught up in a certain item & overbid on it. Be careful, DealDash can be as addictive as sitting at a slot machine.
Thank you Sue for your loyalty and for continuing to shop with us. We look forward to providing you with an even better experience in 2014!
When I started years ago, I bought the $30 in bids. Each day you return, and bid, you get 15 free bids. It keeps you coming, and I won n bought several things including 2 skillets, toddler rocking lamb, blue tooth record player, the list goes on. All for awesome deals!
Now they cancelled the returning bids. Now you get your bids each day refunded for up to 30. Now let's think this thru. You are NOT going to win anything with 30 bids. Sometimes you get lucky, but 100; is my fav amount. You pay for the bids, let's say you pay $30 n get a lit. Then you lose n you are back to 30.
The items they have to bid on are, pretty much, only worth what you are paying in bids. Go to Amazon! It was good before but it's a rip off now. Not worth it.
Hi Stacey,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we appreciate this!

Have a great day!
This site does not have very well written explanations of how it works. You have to buy a bid package for at least $32.00 each bid costs. 16 so if you win a bid for $8.00 does that meen you pay $136.00? I just bought a bid package and bid on a $25.00 walmart card I used what they call a bid buddy and put in 3 bids, now it says I only have 3 bids left what the heck is all this?
Hi Lee,
I sent you a personal email. In the email I explained a bit more about how our service works which I hope you'll find useful. I also returned 200 bids to your account for a second chance to try our service again and I provided you with a full refund per our satisfaction guarantee refund policy.
We'd love to help you further and show you how we're making shopping more fun! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Sincerely, David
I've visited several penny auction sites and found DealDash to be the best by far. They have the best selection of items and they don't charge shipping or any type of fees. The competition is pretty tough, but deals can still be had. I've found customer service to be very responsive, and items are shipped very quickly. Overall a very fun site to hangout. If you've been thinking about trying the penny auctions, be sure to check out DealDash.
Thanks Terry!
I had an issue with my review, and when it all came out, my issue was my computer not allowing my review to be credited. Once I realized what was going on I immediately apologized for my "mistake'. Thanks, Deal Dash, it's my fault again, but you dont rub it ion my face..
Kicked off of an auction when it was about to expire and had started bidding when it first had opened I spent 251 bids and had several bids left and then all of a sudden a sign came up and said that you couldnt bid once it had gone up $5.00, heck I was one of the bidders that started right off the bat! It would not let me bid no more!
Hi Bobby, I'm very sorry for the technical issue you encountered while bidding. Our engineers do their very best to keep the site glitch free, however it was confirmed there was a technical error which affected the auction. We have been able to identify all the users that were affected and your account was one of them therefore all the bids used in that auction have been returned back to your account. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope you'll try again and reconsider your rating of our service. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Dave
I had a problem with the bidding process and used my bids wrong I didn't understand the way you can bid. I contact customer service and within hours on a Sunday, they solve my issue and helped me with links to learn, and make my experience bidding an enjoyable time for me. Again, thank you.
In the 2016 and 2017 I won a lot of items and some for a few bids. I run a non-profit animal rescue and we expanded and I was too busy to bid for most of 2018. I went back about two weeks ago and noticed than people (BOTZS?) are paying 37.68 for a 25.00 gift card WHAT!
How do you pay 12.68 more than the value? That was the price NOT the price and bids and NO it was not a 50% price day. Either people are REALLY stupid or something is funny here. I will not be back.
Hi D. A,
Thank you for your most honest, invaluable feedback here and I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way.
I would like to confirm with you that although rarely, the final auction winning price can sometimes exceed their Buy It Now/RRP value. Some of our most loyal and regular customers are very passionate about bidding on DealDash and will sometimes see an auction through until they win it.

Your DealDash experience means everything to us.
All I did was check it out to see what the fuss was about the website.
I went through the steps of setting up a account and not once did it tell you that you will be charged for any bids.
Woke up the next day and I was charged 20.00 for just looking at the website? I do not think so. I am a website hosting member and this site violates several federal laws of taking money out of your account and without authorization. Steer away from this site.
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. Answer: Hi Emogene! Great to hear you had a good experience and won a few items. Orders are usually delivered in 7-10 business days. I hope you enjoy your items. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Kathy - All items are brand new. We work with top suppliers such as Walmart and Sears, who ship the items directly to your door! If you are unhappy with any item you receive, simply contact our support team and they will help you out. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
DealDash has a rating of 4.5 stars from 4,479 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with DealDash most frequently mention customer service, gift cards and penny auction. DealDash ranks 1st among Auction sites.
