I ordered my first time and it took about a week to get here. Unassembled. I took a chance given the bad reviews and I'm glad I did!

I received my upper and the takedown pins from my lower would not go though. I tried it on a total of 7 different lowers. I had a Sheriffs Office firearm instructor look at it, he had the same issue. Company would not issue a full refund. Read there BBB rating and ratings on their FB page. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews cause I don't have the time but I felt it necessary to do so with this company. I have ordered things from many different companies and understand that things happen, especially when buying gun parts ext. However Davidson Defense has been the absolute worst company I have ever had the displease to do business with, if I could give negative I would. They started out by sending my gun build to the wrong freaking address! Thank god I purchased the insurance as well as it getting returned to sender. Then it sat around somewhere for about 3 weeks. Then finally it got back to them. Mind you all this been about a month a half now. Then the ask for addess, I give it to them, and then they argue with me for 2 weeks saying that's not my address. I don't care if it was or not, if i ask you to send it somewhere then you do it, its my stuff. They ended up making me show proof that it was indeed my address. Then get this, they send it to the wrong address again! It has now been over 2 months, I still have no product and now they are trying to tell me I have to wait until they get new stock to get my order. All the while I have been asking for a phone call. Not one person in over 2 months has answered the phone or bothered to call me to make this right. All they can do is respond with an email a week or so later. So to sum it up, IF YOU WANT THE STUFF YOU PAID FOR, GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY! Do not buy here no matter how good the price is!

Bought a new Davidson AR, it will not eject when fired. I called 2 times and emailed 3 times, still no answer after 6 days.

Bought two hand-guards. Called to return... No damage to product. Called for return rma... They never pick up their phone. Emailed and they respond days later. After I returned product for guaranteed return. Got shipping confirmation that they got the product. They NEVER credited my account... but billed me full amount. Stay Away from Davidson Defense! This company is UNRESPONSIVE to the customer. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. Go anywhere else. SPEND IT AT DAVIDSON AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK EVEN IF YOU HAVE SHIPPING CONFIRMATION THAT THEY HAVE THEIR PRODUCT BACK. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE! 3 MONTHS LATER AND STILL NO REFUND DESPITE THEIR GUARANTEE! RUN AWAY! I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF A GUY NAMED BRAD AT THEIR STORE FRONT. HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME AND HUNG UP SAYING HE WAS TOO BUSY AND THEY HAVE THOUSANDS OF ORDERS. I TOLD HIM THE CUSTOMER PHONE NUMBER HE WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO CALL NEVER PICKS UP AND IVE BEEN TRYING FOR MONTHS. HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME... NOT CARING AT ALL THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN MY MONEY! THIS GUY DESERVES JAIL TIME! CLOSE THIS COMPANY DOWN.

I ordered 2 skeletonized drop-in triggers from Davidson Defense for a pair of AR15s, part number TR-*******. 1 rifle is a carbine with a Tactical Innovations lower. The other rifle is a mid-length built on an Aero Precisions lower with a factory installed ambi bolt release.

The first trigger I tried to install (in the carbine) fit fine until I tried installing the trigger pin. It was too tight. The same pin worked on the hammer hole. No big deal, a little time and some emery cloth and the pin fit fine.

On to the Aero and I couldn't get the trigger pin holes to line up. It was hitting the mag side of the trigger well and wouldn't move forward enough to line up the pin holes. I dissembled the carbine and tried the trigger that fit the Tactical Innovations lower into the Aero with the same results. The holes would not line up.

I ended up putting the original Anderson triggers I originally installed back in both and thought I would get in touch with support.

I have called on Friday, Saturday and Monday. No less than 6 times, no answer. I tried their website support page and you can't submit the page without an attachment. Even though the page clearly says that attachments are optional. So I tore down the mid-length again and took pics of how the trigger doesn't fit. I then put the Anderson trigger back into the lower. I went back to the support page and resubmitted the page with the attachment attached and what do you think happen... THE PAGE STILL WON'T SUBMIT.

Lesson learned, never, never, never deal with this company. Poor support by phone or web. No place to leave a review on the site. I have dealt with over 15 companies building my ARs (I have three) and all (until now) have been outstanding.

Been ordering gun parts from DD many years. Was complete neophyte when i started. No, they never did answer any of my 'uninformed' questions?... i had no idea where to start? I didn't even know the difference between an AR10 and an AR15? Did 308's require a different lower? What exactly did a 'lower' consist of? What was included in an 'upper'? I had NO idea!

So i ordered what looked like a mostly complete kit? And got started there.

DD never did respond to any of my emails? I had to figure it out on my own? So i did.

Even learned to polish, clean and shine cheaper mass produced parts like they were custom made! Not a single question i had that wasn't solved by serious reading and Youtube videos!

I've come to the conclusion? It would be impossible for DD to answer all the crazy questions like mine they must get?... be everybody's custom gun build consultant? And? Still offer the ridiculously low parts prices they offer? I think that's what local gunsmiths and local gunshop classes are for? DD cant, won't, didn't hold my hand. I had to do the research and figure it out on my own. Who knows? Maybe for legal reasons? They don't even send out any kind of instruction manual? Let alone have i ever seen a single assembly diagram? (unless i ordered a printed cleaning mat}... which i did! Several!

But it worked AWESOME! Over a dozen successful builds later! [incl AR9s, AR15s, AR10/308/6.5 Creedmore., 50 Cal. BEOWOLF! [WHAT A MONSTER!}, and even easy 22lr conversions of some of the above for cheaper range time?

Totally happy with DD's budget parts supply!
