I like a Chivas Regal Scotch Whiskey. What I don't understand is the pricing at Dan Murphy's. The 700ml bottle is $47.95 which equates to $6.85/100mls, so the 1 Litre bottle should be $68.50. How come they are charging $81.99? They even sent me a "Members Only Online Special" for $69.95! I filled out an online survey and they reckon they tried to get in touch but I had no missed calls, no text messages and no emails. WTF……Not impressed

Stop using incompetent couriers!
I'm fed up with companies using these cheap and nasty delivery services. They gave me a four hour window which I rearranged my day for and they just didn't bother showing up. No body at Dan Murphy's cares in the slightest, the delivery company's phone was answere by somebody who was clearly asleep before I called and as far as I could gather their only excuse was the driver clearly had better things today that afternoon. Takes 2 days to redeliver but don't bother rearranging that day to wait for it because it's a 50/50 chance they could be bothered.
Thanks for ruining Christmas Dan Murphy's

The store manager CAMERON was rude and refused to serve me at the counter because I had opened a can of beer to taste as I was advised by their own staff to open and taste it before buying the whole carton. He also refused to serve a unrelated customer because he assumed I was with her. His actions were motivated purely by revenge and discrimination. Very disappointing experience at Dan Murphys. Will file a complain formally to not to have this sort of senseless people as managers which ruin the whole shopping experience of customers. I will also write about my experience in all the blogs and review sites just to make sure that they stay away from the store manager CAMERON.

Had to wait so long for delivery of our wine that I had to go out and buy some for the occasion. I see by tracking that it is sitting in the dock for over a week! We thought we would try the service but so regret it as there is a DM just 15k away! Never again.

As with most other reviews here about Dan Murphy's, the online customer service is terrible. First of all, I've had the same problem since I first joined Dan Murphy's website. Whenever I want to login, I need to reset my password - because I'm an international customer. I only found this out today, but back in April, when I tried to place an order I had this issue and the customer service suggested we delete my account and I sign up again. So that's what I did, but the problem continued. Even 5 minutes after logging out, if I want to log back in, I need to reset my password - even when I'm typing a correct password. It's so frustrating. So I placed my order in April, and today when I wanted to place another order, the same problem. But this time the customer service representative "Lincoln" insisted that all my past orders were using a "guest" account. Which is not true. I explained how the previous customer service rep tried deleting my account and me signing up again, but he kept insisting that NO ORDERS have been placed using my account. I told him the orders before April were gone because my account was deleted, but I didn't understand why my April order wasn't showing. Anyway, he continued insisting that I wasn't being truthful and didn't try to be understanding at all. This is DISGUSTING customer service in my opinion. So, Lincoln, here is a review thanks to your poor and impolite service. This problem of me logging in will continue. I was told it's what international customers HAVE TO DO every time they login due to fraud. So now I'm looking for an alternative company thanks to Lincoln.

Made an online order, only half delivered. Used the live chat as you cant get a phone number. Got an apology, BUT NO REFUND as promised. A week later contact the live chat again on Dan Murphy website. Advised the refund has been done... STILL NO REFUND IN MY ACCOUNT. Wanted a complaint phone number, wont give one. Gave a email. I have used this email before. NO REPLY.
DAN MURPHYS HAS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and looks like I have lost my money. SHOP ELSEWHERE THIS COMPANY IS AWEFUL.

I'm still seething, about a year later, from the woeful customer service I experienced when I attempted to have a case of wine delivered to my sister's Brisbane residence. I live in Far North Qld. Dan Murphy's computer system managed to superimpose elements of my address and the intended delivery address, and notwithstanding four phone calls and emails to their Customer Service Centre over a period of a fortnight, the resulting delays in the shipment being received defied belief! If they didn't have such a great range of product, and such low prices, I wouldn't deal with them at all.

Most of the products sold at Dan Murphys, apart from the known established brands are Dan Murphys own budget products. They are simply packaged to look as though they aren't.

I find it hard to believe the penny pinching with this business. You can't talk to anybody and the So Called "Bot Chat" is pretty USELESS.So I go "LIVE CHAT"? Lol. You type your message while waiting for a response and finally Dani-Lou joins me with the? Welcome message how can I help you, so I wait for a response to my brief posted msg? And I'm waiting waiting waiting for a reply?. And finally have to retype a "Hullo"? And finally Live Person? Starts typing a simple reply, it's like you have interrupted there Facebook time, lunch maybe@ 3.50pm or maybe they have ducked out to the toilet! The response time from these Gronks is a Joke, like it would be curtious to type, can you give me a minute, or some response would be nice between there Foreva waiting for a reply. Who knows could be an offshore answering service and they have to have the message translated lol.

I recently ordered from DM, on the 23 Jan, knowing that the long weekend was comming up. I wanted next day delivery so I believe I paid $15 for that service, in fact it was the last thing I saw on the order. When I reveiwed my order on receipt and noticed that I had only been charged $9 and the delivery took 6 days from order to delivery. I tried to contact DM's to ask why and how the delivery amount had been altered? There is nowhere to speak to a human being only a robot. Humans matter. I don't do typing as I am the worlds worst, I grew up with a nib not a computer. So on communications I give them a 0, customer service, similar just a 0. For trying to avoid critacism or commentry 0. Prices good 8/10, Product Range (9/10). If there was more regard for people and less on profit DM's would be a much better company.
