I-Ready is awful! The lessons are full of rambling nonsense that many times either make no sense or is hard for the child to follow. Then there's the issue of the multiple choice answers you choose from. There are typically several answers that are worded nearly the same or multiple answers that will in fact answer the question asked. That does nothing but aggravate and completely frustrate kids! The lessons are nothing but long and ongoing pure crap that doesn't help or teach kids yet makes them hate doing it!

I ready melts children's brains. It's very dehumanizing and it makes grades go down instead of up as it claims. It kills minds and is a complete waste of money and time for schools. I am a 7th-grade student and I feel my grades drop because I ready, having to do lessons on top of long lessons of cartoons dancing around like we are 5 instead of actual work we would learn from is completely and utterly stupid.

This site when you finish an assigmnemt does not turn the assignment in. Also, the paragraphs and essay that you read about do not state the positive facts, or what subject is from a different point of view. I have been using iready for two years and have noticed this. The assinments that you read don't give good info, only stuff that would turn you against what there reading about. I think instead of just showing negative point of views and points they should really include more info about the main subject.

I'm in 9th grade. I've been using this god damn app for 7 years now and it's complete $#*!. It makes you feel like you're stupid, I have a 157 point iq, I've won many awards for education contests blah blah blah. Why have you been asking me the same exact questions for 4 years. Every time I go to the principal of my school with a group of 3-4 dozen other kids to ask them to get rid of it, they just shrug it off. They don't give two $#*!s about what children think about this app. It's terrible. And I'm not saying it's terrible cause I'm lazy. I love to learn, and I'm a hard worker. I don't want this gone cause then I have less work I want it gone cause it's a waste of your time, it's stupidly boring, rattles on about the same $#*!, and doesn't help anyone. Obviously if this many children are thinking this way there MIGHT be a problem I don't know. Every single person I ask hates this app. Take a $#*!ing hint.

So, if any of my teachers are reading this... I'm sorry, I HATE I-Ready. It is boring, the audio is really bad, the animation is bad and it is VERY CRINGY. The audio sounds like a cheap baby toy that plays music, and it also hurts my ears so much that I just plug my earbuds in and take then out of my ears. I can't believe that I have to to I-Ready for 30+ minutes EVERY WEEK OF MY LIFE. ST Math is better than this. The only redeeming quality's are the character designs and a mini-game where you stack cats on top of each other. My LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER is the detective penguin, I hate his catchphrase, it haunts my dreams. Also, my parents hate it because its confusing and I showed them the audio quality one day and they said "I'm sorry you have to do I-Ready". Also, I am on a level where there's this baking competition and somebody was GREAT enough to not draw a granola bar on a plate, so instead they photoshopped a image of a granola bar and put it on a image of the plate.

It's homework, but worse. It takes more than an hour to finish. It can build up stress on students who have an attention deficit. When you're done with it, it acts like you didn't even take that assignment. After that, you just learn nothing and get more dumb as you complete more lessons. When the teacher assigns the same homework you already did, it acts like it's a brand new lesson you didn't learn. This app is NOT mobile-friendly. Overall this app is just a poop scooper that is used to punish children. Idk why my teacher uses this and my grades are bad cuz of this stupid app my math teacher uses. IT MAKES YOU FEEL DUMB WITH THAT PASS RATE. KHAN ACADEMY IS BETTER.

I ready is supos to help you with math not make you scream because you go 10% on a check and my teacher says all my work is right and all it dose is give you stress and anxiety and the people talk to mcuh i hate that to much and none of what they say makes any sense like divide the numbers 10 divided by 5 = 2 now make it odd at i failed that test thanks i ready can hacker find a way to take iready down instead of you tube like i am begging you pleas

It takes forever to actually DO the problem, like what would take me 10 minutes on paper took about 2 hours on this. Then when you finish it, heck, you have to do A WHOLE NOTHER LOAD OF CRAP! And what do you get out of finishing the lessons? Well, you get coins, and the coins you can use for games in the app but the games are crap and they are only 2 minutes long so when your done you have to go through about 5 hours more of work for a game. DO NOT GET THIS APP. Get a different one. Oh and also, can we talk about the fact that if you do enough looking and detective stuff you can find out the people in the lessons are in COLLAGE? This is so stupid. 20 year olds cant figure out what 30 divided by 10 is. What hole were they trapped in for the last 15 years?

This is the ACTUAL WORST app in the whole world that I've USED FOR MATH!

See, I'm a 5th grader and my whole district needs to use this garbage app - I-Ready. This is absolutely stupid, we have to take a diganosiastic to get our "level". The issue is, a simple mistake like I added 5+3 and got 7 even though I knew it was 8 can make you do lessons on how to add. This app doesn't get the fact that mistakes exist!

Cringy lessons - lessons on this app take me around 30 minutes just to finish with the quiz. You can't skip through, and you have to watch this stupid animated characters tell you about everything. Maybe it'd be better WITHOUT these characters. Sometimes it has so bad of quality literally all you hear is "talking and glitching" which doesn't even help me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE APP! It's supposed to HELP you but it makes everyone feels STUPID. This has ruined a lot of peoples self esteem! Stay FAR away from this.

Most of the people saying it's 1-star are just people who hate math and reading, which is understandable... but would you rather do IXLMath where it does NO explaining, NO help, just "you got this wrong and I'm not gonna tell you why."? I thought not. You can get coins from lessons to play games, and it gives you a break in the middle of tests. They explain your incorrect answers, and it adapts to your level of reading/math. It's not really as bad as people are saying it is!
