It is torture. It makes me want to die inside. Whenever I do it, I almost cry, and sometimes I DO CRY. It takes hours just to do one lesson. To make it worse, there is two parts. The practice and the ACTUAL ONE SO YOU WASTED YOUR TIME DOING PRACTICE JUST TO MAKE IT TO THE QUIZ AND FAIL TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!

I-ready, if you are listening, then please take this into mind. YOU SUCK AND YOU CREATED A GARBAGE APP THAT TURNS KIDS INTO MONSTERS. Seriously! If you could ask every single kid who has ever been required to do iReady, they would tell you that it sucked the life out of them. It is so time consuming and I have spent countless hours just trying to catch up on simple ireadys. If they were shorter, maybe I wouldn't mind so fricking much. BUT THEY ARE SO LONG. So enlighten me. Somebody explain to me why TF we have to do this sh**. Because I am running out of reasons not to throw my computer of the side of the Eiffel tower. If I could give you dumba**es a zero star review I would.

Bad.
February 12, 2025

Firstly, the I-ready characters talk way, way, way too much. When you're trying to respond to a question, they just keep talking and waste your time. Furthermore, when you're doing I-ready, you need to complete an "instruction" course first, and then complete a quiz, but if you do badly on the quiz and good on the instruction, you have to repeat the WHOLE lesson. Lastly, the diagnostic makes your brain hurt so much. It's unbelievable how schools allow this torture for Kindergarteners. This is malarky.

I-Ready Failure
January 5, 2023

The actual workbooks and in-person curriculum create a deep hatred for math. Not only is there no joy, but it is really bad curriculum. I have seen students' scores decline since this curriculum was adopted in our district. It is a very disorganized, confusing, developmentally inappropriate curriculum.

I am a middle school student and I think I ready is a waste of time because 1 lesson can take up to 20-30 minutes, many teachers make thier students do 4+ every week so it takes forever. The lessons don't help you learn, and the lessons aren't even what we are learning in class...in math right now we are learning one-step inequalities, but in I ready I am "learning" in I ready is "write and evaluate Algebraic expressions" which are two very different things. I hope you found this helpful. If your teachers assign it you still have to do it but if you are going to buy it willingly, use a different app. Thank you.

The haters are giant feet
September 17, 2022

I have done I-ready since 4th grade and I'm perfectly fine in 6th. I think the problem is teachers aren't giving enough time to some students and kids these days are just irresponsible. To all of you 1 star raters, ask about an IEP plan.

ABSOLUTE TRASH
December 19, 2022

So, I-Ready is a torture device used to suck the energy out of students. Wanna know why? First of all the "characters" are lifeless bootleg sesame street characters that make AWFUL dad jokes. When they're on screen it takes 20 minutes and they take up most of the lesson. Also, there are frequent misspellings like the word "kow." What? They also spelled what I think means Apple the wrong way. Here's how they spelled it: allPe. Even auto correct can't guess it. One more awful thing is you can't go back to the previous question on the diagnostics. If you miss-click and pick the wrong answer OH NO, looks like you failed. Its boring as f*** and sucks the life out of people. DON'T USE!

$#*! I-Ready
December 1, 2022

We live in a republic. We have freedom and liberty. Everyone loves freedom of speech. This website doesn't equal liberty or freedom at all. $#*! this $#*!ty website. The cutscenes are a waste of time and the cutscenes are annoying as $#*!. Tell the little $#*! [the CEO of I-Ready] this: "$#*! you I hope you burn to ashes. 5000 years of human evolution just to get a $#*!ing greedy $#*! $#*! to exist." Because of this website, Kids at schools where they have to do I-Ready such as my school are upset. This website is even worse than Reflex. Even though the pause button doesn't work on Reflex, at least it didn't cause depression! The characters never shut the $#*! up like just get to the point already. Again $#*! you I-Ready CEO and $#*! all I-Ready lovers.

As a fellow Anti I-Ready Reaction member, raiding the stupid little $#*!s who actually spent their $#*!ing family time to make a damn wiki for this $#*!.
Tell those $#*!s I was Mercenary Gas and Stevehern7382.
I hope the guy behind i-Ready passes the $#*! away and turns into ashes only to get poured into a river above a damn bridge

Just Delete It Already
December 15, 2020

I don't know why this thing exists. I am so over this piece of crap! First of all, you have to take a stupid diagnostic, with dumb, long questions. Then the "lessons" have these characters that are supposed to be really 'relatable' and 'rad'. And the darn lesson itself takes 45 freaking minutes to complete. This app is terrible. And then the so-called 'learning games' have no point whatsoever and are really stupid. You can tell by just looking at it that it was cheaply made. Oh, and another thing: it treats us like we're two years old. "Wow, those chickens must be hungry!" Why do they make do this stupid app? Even the name is stupid. "I-ready". Everyone hates it in our class. I swear, I am going mentally insane because of it. It's basically a torture device but in a app. And the teachers just sit there.

December 1, 2020

I've never learned something from this. And its very boring. When i get a answer right it tells me im wrong? And its just horrible honestly. "what does nice mean?" and the answers are "the act of being nice", "being nice", "doing nice things"...

SuCkS
December 15, 2020

This app sucks and is a waste of brain cells, I can literally eat a rotten cow than use this garbage. Its really horrible to be "good at this" because you get the easiest questions and some how be wrong. This is something that the government would use as a torture device for 17-5 year old kids. I hate this app and I hope it burns in hell with me when I die.

Ban I-Ready
October 4, 2021

I have used I-Ready for about 3 years. Not as long as some of you guys. But I HATE it. It takes me 2 hours to complete and when I fail It takes me 4 hours. It is a waste of time and makes kids want to kill themselves. The government could use the people's voices to torture people. If they did it to me I would last about 5 minutes max. I-Ready has caused the death of so many innocent youth. They where fine before starting. After they wanted to kill themselves. I do NOT recommend this to anyone!

There evil people and want to suck your energy, every time I get a lesson wrong they make me do the whole thing again! They could've let me do the quiz but no! They don't care! They want their money! And don't get me started on those animated characters, they're loud, annoying, and VERY creepy, don't you think they should stop I-ready because this app is messed up.

This app is HORRIBLE!
September 10, 2020

So, it's too easy, now it gives me hard questions? What is this? Why can't I just type my age? It's terrible, I always avoid this at all times. But my teacher keeps saying, "Do it." It's not even a bad app, it's TERROR!

Absolutely awful!
January 20, 2021

I-Ready is awful! The lessons are full of rambling nonsense that many times either make no sense or is hard for the child to follow. Then there's the issue of the multiple choice answers you choose from. There are typically several answers that are worded nearly the same or multiple answers that will in fact answer the question asked. That does nothing but aggravate and completely frustrate kids! The lessons are nothing but long and ongoing pure crap that doesn't help or teach kids yet makes them hate doing it!

First I'm going to talk about the reading section. Its so boring they treat you like 2 year old's and every lesson is the same. Or it haves the same vibe. So it just gets boring overtime. Now for math it's less boring because it's actually helpful MOST of the time. Its pretty helpful and fun. BUT sometimes it really messes me up. Would not recommend.

First of all, it treats you like a 4 year old. Second of all, it tries to be hip just like the GrubHub Ad "delivery dance" The animation is terrible it looks like a 4 year old drew it. They don't even move their mouths correctly. The person who made I-Ready was probably adopted then quickly disowned.
