Very unprofessional. I submitted the information and sent multiple emails within minutes to see if I should add the specifics of the job I'm applying for. Well after waiting all day, I got an email back the next day. I paid for rush service (within 24 hours), so I should have received replies immediately since they should be working on my resume. Instead he waited till the next morning. Well I uploaded the information like he said and waited. After 5 hours of still not hearing anything back, of course I'm very upset. I call the company and instead of saying we are working on it now, they will have it by the 24 hour time frame I paid extra for, they tell me I only submitted the information that morning. Well, I was unaware I needed to submit the information of the specific job, that's why I asked within minutes if I should do that. Instead I got yelled at, told that I was speaking down to him (I'm sorry, but if someone pays you to do something within a short period of time, maybe don't spend 15 hours not replying to questions) and then was told that I was the one who didn't reply until hours later. I informed this man that actually, I replied within minutes and then I got hung up on. I emailed him the proof of me sending the emails with questions within 20 minutes of his initial email to me (which is something of a generic introduction) and he didn't reply until 17 hours later. I told him I'd review him, and was called twice (I did not answer, why should I have him yell at me more?) and then got an email that he would 'return the favor'. Now maybe I was upset, I didn't yell or curse (I have a kid with me who if i yell, she starts to cry, so I know the threshold of yelling was not met to a sensitive child.) A business should admit their mistake of not being responsive. Not exactly what I thought I'd receive when I'm trying to perfect my resume!

Edit: I wasn't ever rude or hostile. Actually, he was rude and began yelling at me. I have every right to be upset because the job I paid him to do was not done in a timely manner. When he started blaming me, I was very upset because I've been eagerly waiting to submit the resume to the job. He was actually hostile, calling me names, calling me to yell, and sending me rude and unprofessional. While he offered me a refund, in this case, it's time that is more valuable than the money and he wasted my time- and he will waste yours. Use another company please. He's been intimidating me, and was calling me repeatedly after he hung up on my face when I was mentioning to him that I emailed him back within 20 minutes instead of the 'many hours' he said I emailed him back. Again I have proof of this too.

I've never been good at bragging about what I do at work. It's difficult to put into words without sounding pompass. I received a resume redo from my partner as a birthday present... complete with cover letter. Let me tell you, I've never looked so good on paper. I was stunned as to how regular everyday tasks can be spruced up with creative phrases that grab attention. The turn around time was less than 48 hours. My resume is now beefed up and looks really really great. When I had to ask my writer, Justin, a question, he responded immediately. These guys have your back and are worth every penny. Give it a shot and go with the cover letter package. You won't regret it.

As you might guess from the title this is about a first time resume. Actually I thought I had one but it seems I had written a BIO instead.! Justin and his crew, Deb Young in particular, walked me through the whole process and between e-mails and phone calls we finally got all the information necessary. After that it was no time at all and I had a professional, looking and reading resume.! Thanks again folks and would happily recommend you to everyone.!

Firstly, they simply used a template that can be found in the first page on their website. I don't think their template looks better than mine, and it was so simple and stupid. My original copy is only one page and well structured, however the one then send back to me got 2 pages. So I question the person who rewrote my resume, why didn't you keep it less than one page (I am entry level just graduated with bachelor degree)?
And guy responded that " You should not worry about page number. Hiring managers don't make important decisions for candidates based on the number of pages on a resume. That's nothing but a rumor. If I make this one page, it will require deleting very important information from your resume which I do not suggest."

Secondly, there were horrible inconsistencies in the revised draft they send back to me, and the structure was definitely missed up! The contents for section A missed up with the title for section B, and the format between each sections are not consistent. The guy responded this " Can you please be more specific? They do not look inconsistent to me. "

Thirdly, they did not make any changes to the contents of my original copy, nothings was changed for the words I wrote. The guy said that "Your actual work experience will not change because those are things you actually performed. They must remain concise and straight to the point as they are."

To sum up, they always had a "nice" execution for any dissatisfaction (all of them) you had.

Finally, this is what the person told me in the last email he sent me "We cannot guarantee anything, but we do know what works best in most cases based on our experience and feedback over the many years we have been in business. We cannot control what an employer does, we are just providing a service."
