Very upset with the fact that I open up a package to see if it fits my table and chairs and because it is over 30 days past the order I can't return for any amount of refund! I like the cover store products but this policy absolutely STINKS. Guess I should have read more reviews on them before purchasing again.

I know when I ordered it - I put my house address correctly on the order, but when I went to see why I did not receive it, the house # was missing. I purchased a couple of things here. 2 items were available, one was not. The one that was not... it popped up that it would be shipped in 4 weeks... I thought, ok, I can wait 4 weeks. When I got the online receipt, it said it would be 5 weeks. 3 days later when the partial delivery was scheduled it said that one item would be 6 weeks! When I looked for a phone number or email to CANCEL that order... there was none. So I looked under return. Something on their site popped up saying that the return section was under maintenance. I left 2 messages under 'General Inquiry' No one got back to me. I'm not holding my breath. This place is a joke. They really need to get their act together or go away. So frustrating!
Ordered custom size cover for patio heater. Ordered charcoal, received grey, too big, cheap material from China. Called and asked to return and get black, as in black. Customer service said that was what I ordered. Color on website was not even close to what was delivered. No bueno, no returns on custom size order. $80 buck over the dam. Would not order from them again

This is the second outside tv cover I've bought from this store. The first has covered a pool house tv for years and is going strong. This new one will cover a cabin cruiser tv. The customer service is exceptional. I contacted site online with questions and received an answer right away. Ordered the product, spoke to Alan on the phone about delivery timelines and he managed next day delivery. Don't waste time shopping around elsewhere.

I had placed an order for several covers to use on my back deck furniture. Within 5 minutes of placing the order I realized that I put in a measurement incorrectly. I immediately called their customer service line, but it was a Sunday and their customer service center was closed.
So I called first thing Monday morning. I asked if I could edit the measurements on the order and they said no. I asked if I could cancel the order and they said no.
The order I place totaled $338 which they said is non-refundable. A manager called me 20 minutes later per my request and like a robot, she reiterated the same information.
They did say they'd give me 10% off my next order. I will never order from this business again. I can not believe that they are going to produce literal trash. It was less than 24 hours from placing my order when I spoke to someone and it is unbelievable that they could not stop the forward motion of the order. No fabric had been cut yet.
Our chair covers came. They didn't take the 1-2" off the length to prevent dragging. When I called to tell them, they had me take several pictures of the covers, inside and out, show measurements of the seams, pictures of the chairs with and without the covers in them. We submitted all of these, heard back 2 days later saying they weren't at fault. How could they not be at fault... they didn't take the length off. We noticed these are made in China, which means they don't want to pay to ship another set over made correctly. They were hoping China had made the mistake, but that wasn't the case. So... we are stuck with VERY expensive covers that look terrible and will probably mold from dragging and sitting in rain water.

I am a fan of coverstore and love their cover mate chair covers because so far, they have stood up to the test of time. Because of the chair covers, I decided to purchase a car cover, thinking I will get the same value but boy was I wrong. I live in Los Angeles and we do not have extreme weather so I am thinking that this cover will last at least 5 years. Within 8 months I stated to see breakdown of the cover and waiting another month it became porous and started to leak, then fell apart. I contacted cover store and they replaced the cover. Today I washed my car and when I was about to put the replaced cover back on my car and it completely fell apart with dust and pieces flying everywhere. It felt like they used paper to make this cover. I am so disappointed with the product that it needed to get a 0 RATING, as they should remove this product from circulation. I have a cover that my fiancé bought for my Prius and it is in excellent shape. The chair covers are A+ but car Zero-. They did replace this product 8 months ago and it has failed again. Frustrated

Even using there fitment chart don't be surprised if your car cover doesn't fit well, my cover for our Toyota Tacoma won't cover the entire front and comes up or off at the least bit of wind.

The customer had worked with a designer in their area who assisted in obtaining their measurements to order Custom Covers for multiple items. We were made aware that one of the items did not fit properly. Since the customer paid the designer directly and not Coverstore, these types of situations are typically handled by that party and we advised the customer to contact them directly. It seems they came up empty-handed with their efforts to resolve with the designer so they left us a negative review. The review caught our attention and we reached out wanting to learn where the issue may have been. The designer captured the initial dimensions provided by the customer via a Facetime call. Regardless of where the error was had (if the incorrect measurements were given or the designer made an error), we requested the customer remeasure with some guidance and advised we would replace the cover as a courtesy. The new dimensions provided were different than what was initially ordered and after talking it through, the CX was certain these were accurate.
After the courtesy replacement was made, the customer contacted us again. They indicated the replacement cover fits perfectly, however, due to weather conditions in their area, the cover had now blown away. Although adverse weather is out of our control and we do not replace covers when this happens, we made additional efforts to offer a replacement with a substantial discount. The customer was still dissatisfied with the outcome and posted multiple reviews.

WILL NOT PROTECT AGAINST RAINWATER. WILL NOT STAND BEHIND PRODUCT.
I ordered two custom covers; one for a firepit, the other for a dining table. They are used for a cottage two hours from where I live. After 4 weeks of use, brand new from delivery, the rainwater had pooled on the flat tabletop surfaces and leached through the "Unmatched dirt, water, and UV-resistant material for year-round protection". This essentially holds the items to be protected in a permanent state of wetness. For the metal components of a firetable or a stained wooden table, this is fatal, the opposite of protection. Once again: absolutely no water protection. I had ordered the upgraded (most expensive available) Ultima fabric for these custom pieces.
Customer service was surreal and funny if you stop caring. I was told that no fabric can 100% block water (yes it can -- tarp from Home Depot, and also the cover that came free with my BBQ). I was told that the warranty would not cover water proofness. I was told that I am "supposed" to put an object under the cover to tent the surface, so rainwater will not collect (nowhere on the their website do they show a table cover used in this way, and the only place this is mentioned in print is when you start expanding the details of the warranty). I was told that the website does not use the word waterproof in the description. That's funny, because the website gushes about protection from weather, including water, and also that the seams are indeed "waterproof". Of what use are waterproof seams if the fabric itself is basically porous nylon?
Needless to say, I was not given a refund. I was assured that they "knew how I felt" and "understood my frustration".
Do not buy from these overpriced scammers. The only thing they do well is their website.
Our covers are made of water-resistant fabric, it is able to resist the penetration of water to a degree but not entirely. Therefore we don’t guarantee complete protection against damage caused by water or pools that form on the cover as there are steps the user needs to take to help offset these issues to perform as expected. Since we do not advertise our products being fully waterproof, what should be considered is once past that tipping point, all water-resistant fabrics will allow water to soak through as it has its limits.
You want outdoor fabrics to be breathable to prolong the life of the items and not cause additional issues with moisture unable to escape or pass through the material/vents.
Improper fitting covers can also cause performance issues (excess/pockets of fabric). To avoid such trapped moisture, make sure your chosen cover fits appropriately and is a few inches shorter than the item being covered - This will allow proper ventilation.
The pooling of water could cause moisture to seep in through the seams; creating mold and mildew, which could damage belongings. In order to avoid water pools from forming altogether, place something under the sunken/low/flat spots of the cover to give a pitch. Doing so allows water to run off and drain easier (think of a tent or roof of a traditional style house).
Condensation can form between the cover and items when the temperature of your item is cooler than the air. When warm, humid air passes over or through the cover, moisture is released onto the cold surface. Condensation is unavoidable. Like a can/bottle of soda, condensation forms, but the can/bottle is not leaking. We do recommend storing cushions separately.
As you see, there are many variables that may cause water seepage (aside from the amount of precipitation + duration, humidity, or adverse weather conditions).
Water-resistant covers still allow air to circulate and help evaporate water; thus providing better long-term protection.
