I have been ordering my lenses from Contact Lens King for years. Until yesterday, when a promotion appeared in my email entitled "Celebration of Life Day Sale." It arrives on the day of the annual anti-abortion "March for Life" in Washington, DC. This so-called "Celebration of Life Day" was first instituted by Ronald Reagan as a direct response in opposition to the passage of Roe v. Wade. When I called Contact Lens King to inquire about whether the company opposes abortion specifically, or women's rights generally, I was told "we have lots of women working here, this is just a promotion; it's not political." I beg to differ. Finding this in my inbox in 2023, on the heels of having our rights trampled on by The Supreme Court was not apolitical, it was an assault! I encourage anyone who has ordered from CLK in the past to join me in refusing to do any further business with them.

I used 2 day shipping for an order placed on 1/3/23. There was no indication that I needed to be present to sign for the delivery by selecting the higher priced shipping option for 2 day. UPS made the first attempted delivery on 1/10 which was a week after I placed my order, they did not leave feedback that I needed to be present to sign. After 2 more failed attempts the UPS statement said it was being returned to the sender. I spent 2 hours on the phone total with UPS and went to their customer service center 3 times before I was actually able to get my package on 1/16/23.

At the time of your order, you did select UPS 2 Day shipping. Unfortunately, we do not know it is signature required until the order hits our warehouse and a label is generated where UPS tells us it has to go signature required due to the amount. Once the products leave our warehouse with any carrier service Contact Lens King is not responsible for any carrier delays or any issues that may arise with their company trying to deliver your packages. I apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
