Avoid spending money with these cretins at all costs! They are bad news. I purchased a page loader plugin *Page Loader by Bonfire Themes. It was buggy on my theme (Divi) and didn't work. Getting a refund is near impossible and they side with the author and not the purchaser. They deleted my questions from the support page and deleted my review to cover their tracks. Luckily I paid with Paypal so have some protection and I have filed a PP dispute of payment. When lodging the dispute the first thing that appears in Paypal from cash chasm:-) is they inform you that they will close your Cash Chasm account if you pursue a Paypal dispute (all good I won't be spending another cent with them). Buyer beware... Code Canyon aka Cash Chasm is a shady outfit who rip off consumers...

This company is absolutely ruthless. If you ask for a refund on a product that's not working correctly they lock your account, shut off all access to your purchase and leaves your website subject to complete destruction

Hello, I bought this web app " Smart School Management System "After we purchased, I saw that important packages is not included compared to the demo version which is prepared for selling.I requested support why you are not included that you shoed me on the demo version and they replied to pay another payment.Why do they show on the demo version nice thing and after purchased fake product? I bought many web apps in different websites, and the demo product is completely the same as the demo one. We never got such big problems in the past. Really It is shame. We have to stop them from scamming new buyer people.

You can't write a bad review about a purchase, it will just be removed. Just because a product has good reviews doesn't mean it will work! I do not advise using this service if you do not want to lose money!

They just remove 1-3 star reviews and keep 4-5 star reviews. This is really fooling users who read reviews before buy. I bought many items and 2 out of them are actually not working and have security issues, I gave rest all items 4-5 star and only these 2 items 1-3 stars.
4-5 star reviews are permanent and 1-3 star reviews are deleted.
How can we trust their reviews?

Codecanyon allows you to write reviews if it is 5 star only. If you give less than 5 stars although it is buggy code, they review your review. They delete the review and they hide the review button.
I purchase code packs and plugins from a seller called themesic. One year of support was completed, they couldn't fix the problem. Most of them are buggy. Anything for Perfex CRM, don't buy It will crash the whole system. I had to ask the Perfex team to fix the problem. Now they know the problem exist, I had to go legal fight to refund money. Now they block me from writing review. Don't know why.
These people sell buggy code and if you raise a question, then they block you. They have taken so much of my money.

One can never contact CodeCanyon. They do not want to know you. App developers who actually help are scarce. Did have a couple who were genuine and solved the problems. Most of the others are less than interested in helping - only to take your money. I will not buy from them again. I currently have a credit of $6 but can't use it because their minimum is $20 - this is just stealing my money as far as I am concerned.
It's a pity the owners of CodeCanyon hide behind closed doors - what are they afraid of.
Also there are too many apps that are so old they will not work on current computers.
Take care with this lot. I am beginning to agree with others here that this site is sadly becoming one big scam.

I usually don't write negative review about company but this needs to be said as I want others to be careful. I bought a apps from CodeCanyon, and after I paid thorough their online shopping cart, immediately they locked my account out.

I did not know why but tried to contact them, sent 5 messages after spent two hours how to figure out and read all of their blogs, and long script. No reply, no customer service, never heard back from them. I tried to find their contact phone, nothing.

Very awful and terrible company so don't purchase anything from this site, just my humble opinion.

Worst place to buy code from is codecayon.net. As there is no regulations on what people say on the selling pages and what you get in once you buy it. It is literally biggest internet frauds in today's modern world. I purchased this shoppers flutter eCommerce app which says full eCommerce app but does not have a working shopping cart. And on top of that i ask the support team which is the developer - he says i never specified it had full eCommerce. Some one should tell me full eCommerce means a working shopping cart. Now i try to contact evanto they never reply.

I paid almost 100$ for the script. Right at the moment the money were dedicated from my bank account the codecanyon blocked my profile.
Support team DOES NOT reactivates my profile nor they agree to send my money BACK! Support just IGNORES my asks to return the money they charged for the script! Do not use the service of this company if you value your own time and money.

3 of the last 4 plugins I purchased from them were either not as advertised, broken or in one case, took down my entire website. Requests are ignored and if you file a claim with PayPal they lock you out of the account including items you had previously purchased.

I have bought a theme from Theme forest named Whizbiz. It is a poorly coded theme with worst support/. I bought the theme and paid the extended support also. How ever I found the support was poor.

I left 3 times review for that theme and each time they deleted my review just to make it more sale. If we are not allowed for putting in review why codecanyon put that option there? I even contacted them through mail but they did not get back to me. See screenshot of my review which they deleted

Plugin: Rich Snippets & Schema Markup Plugin for WordPress & WooCommerce

Woocommerce is named in the name of the plugin. But the plugin brakes product page rich snippets, which is the most important part for an ecommerce.

The developer asked access to solve the problem, and after that, he installed WP download, and downloaded my entire site, with private information. Most of all, still today, after more than I week, the developer insists there is no problem.

If I click from mobile on category pages, they now redirect to /shop/ page. Google tool for rich snippets gives the same redirection problem when I try to investigate a product page, it returns the /shop/ page.

CodeCanyon just opens a ticket, and gives one more week because they follow a "standard procedure", in the meantime the site is broken.

No phones to call. Nobody protecting customers.
Now who ever will pay to fix my problem?

Have been a customer for the past 4 years and have purchased close to 40 items with all good reviews in exception to 5 unfavorable reviews. These 5 have since been deleted which lost my trust in this company and will no longer be purchasing any products from them.

Be careful when purchasing themes as many authors rarely do updates and when they do, they are simple basic updates just to make it look like they are updating for the current year but have done nothing in reality. I have one theme from 2016 which breaks when you try to add newer plugins due to incompatibilities. And codecanyon has the gall to list this same old broken theme as a "Top 10". What a joke!

If you are interested in a plugin or theme, be sure to read the comment section to get a good idea how responsive the author is or buyer complaints. No doubt they probably are deleting the bad comments now as well. Goodbye Codecanyon!
