Great experience with great compassion and care. It's wonderful not to worry about your items during a stressful time.
Clutter is a great service with a great team. Delivery and pickup are always on time and the guys are great to work with.
Very helpful, professional. On time could not have done this move/storage without the help. Thank you.
The guys that came to help me were absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend clutter! The pricing was also a great surprise!
Service forgot to return one of the items from storage (a drawer chest) after asking for everything to be returned to new address. Took several days to find and retrieve this missing item. When the missing drawers were finally being delivered, the delivery drivers called once (I couldn't pick up as I was in a meeting) and left without even ringing door bell. I was subsequently charged hundredsfor their second delivery attempt, despite this being Clutter's fault from the beginning (after all, they were the ones who didn't deliver the missing item) and providing electronic proof there was no door bell ring.
I will put this online once I have time...
Service provided from start to finish was impressive. Goods were packed and sent to storage; 18 months later, web activated notification and delivery. It was that simple.
Overall it's been a great experience and would recommend Clutter Storage to anyone. Many of my friends and colleagues have signed up.
I did request 3 boxes to be sent to me recently via Fedex, I only got two...hoping the other is in transit.
After Makespace was acquired terms and pricing changed. Considering it is a storage service, it would be too much work to take out when terms changed and place somewhere else, so you are stuck with accepting the new rates.
You have professional staffs. I thank very much your great assist with the movement it was very efficient and nicely done.
It is not made clear on the website that pricing is per item regardless of how small or how light those items are. This information is buried in the FAQ. It makes it prohibitively expensive to actually use the service, which was the entire point of signing up. Will not be renewing my contract once it's up and will move everything to self storage.
I really appreciate their patience when I was going through my more worst times mourning the lost of my son, they were able to settle with me a reasonable amount I could afford & I was able to reunite with my stored items in my new home which was bittersweet, but the made my experience sweet thnx clutter, may God continue to bless each & every one of y'all Happy Holidays
When I call for service both young ladies they were very helpful
A huge mirror that would cost hundreds of dollars to replace and it was lost/broken by clutter and I was only compensated $42. I will never use Clutter again and have told everyone I know about my experience and not to use it.
The two young men who moved my stuff were the best!
Clutter was extremely easy to get my storage things back. There were several days and times to chose from and having the live feed of where the truck was helpful for planning as well on the day of. Great communication by the team and easy to use online portal.
I had to take Clutter to court in order to get my belongings back. It wasn't until Clutter was served by NYC Small Claims Court that they put in an effort to look for my bins! Several months had gone by and, voila, the my bins were shipped from the very warehouse they had originally been stored in! What the serious $#*!?!?
I would have never done business with this company due to their poor ratings online.
I had storage with a company called CallBox Seattle. Then Clutter bought them. I wasn't informed. When I start getting billed at a higher rate from Clutter, I found out this had happened.
Time passes, and I start making plans to get my items moved to LA. First, they say my items are not longer in a storage unit, so I cannot visit as they are in a warehouse somewhere. I never agreed to this, and it is horrible because I have some large items I would liquidate on craigslist that I don't want to pay moving costs on. Well, now I am forced to all or nothing.
I make plans to show up to the warehouse with a Uhaul. Then when I check back to confirm, they tell me I can no longer visit the warehouse, only "professional moving companies" can do this. Shocking.
So I start working with a moving company, and check back to confirm the warehouse address. Now clutter says "we no longer allow warehouse pickups, we must find another location to deliver your items".
Now this is extremely suspicious, why would they go to the cost and effort to load 10x15" worth of items, about 2 tons, into a truck, just to unload it again? Allowing movers to show up at their location would save them money? Causes suspicion that they have lost or destroyed my items and are just stringing me along.
So I offered to have my mover meet them at a nearby Walmart parking lot, and they counter by offering to meet at a park. My mover says that no mover will do this, so why would they pick such a location.
Now, they have just gone radio silent to the email thread we had established. And they never answer the phone. After all the barriers that they have thrown up, and the amount of nightmare reviews I now read, I am doubting that they even have my items or intend to return them at all.
If you hate nightmares, avoid this company. Or any company that even looks like them since they have bought up Callbox, Makespace, and perhaps others I am unaware of. It is really sad because the convenience of having an integrated mover & storage facility is a great idea. But no matter how great your idea is, you have to have some honor and treat customers well.
I have no words to describe how horrible my experience with Clutter has been. Starting with the deceit and hidden fees all the way to destroying half of my belongings and furniture, including my TV, my ceramic tables, vases. Almost every item they moved and packed at least had a scratch, and the majority of my high value items were completely destroyed. I signed up with this service thinking I would pay x amount (like they advertise when you sign up), but the day of the move, the fee increased by $500 without an explanation. They claimed that was what was shown the entire time? Lies. Refused to fully reimburse all my damaged belongings, and oh doesn't matter if they destroy your entire household items and everything you ever owned, per their policy, they will never refund more than $2500. Horrible experience, damaged my old apartment during the move-out and my new apartment during the move-in with scratched on the floor, walls and debris everywhere. I wish I read a review like this before spending almost $4000 in moving, packing, and storage fees (FOR ONLY ONE MONTH). This ridiculous amount doesn't even cover all the money I lost from them destroying half of my furniture. Please avoid them like the plague - if you think you're saving money, you will absolutely end up paying at least double the amount in "hidden fees". I have moved a dozen of times before, and even from coast to coast, and have never had a horrible experience like this one. If you care about your money, your belongings, your sanity and mental health do not use this horrible company.
I am surprised Clutter hasn't gone out of business with all the complaints against it. The company is a total rip off. It changes its pricing whenever it fees like it, and there is nobody in customer service that ever answers the phone or live chats to discuss the changes.

This a terrible, untrustworthy, beyond unsatisfactory company. I have used them for two years unbeknownst to me that they have lost my couch and who knows what other belongings. They have CANCELLED my appointment twice. 1 the day before the appointment, and 2 the DAY OF. Which they then emailed me saying *I* cancelled and have informed they have LOST my couch.
My couch had a $1000 original painting wrapped inside for protection. They have now lost my painting and my couch. And they want to only offer $$ compensation. This is UNSATISFACTORY. With no resolve and no solutions or real help.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
