Why Classic Specs?
Eyewear shouldn't be complicated. That's why at Classic Specs, we take the guesswork out of tracking trends by providing a wide variety of vintage and retro-inspired frames that stand the test of time, both in design and durability.
Affordable, vintage-inspired eyewear
Unlike the retail stores, we won't upsell you on things that should be standard. Our frames are made of premium, hypoallergenic cellulose acetate, which we source from a family-owned factory in Northern Italy (the very first to create faux tortoise shell). For our sunglass options, we use the highest quality UVA/UVB protective lenses available, including polarized lens technology.

I have had four orders in a row canceled for no reason. Customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. I had to keep emailing them for weeks to eventually get them to ship. Just tried ordering again. 7 days later, the order hasn't shipped. I inquired and was told that this order too, was canceled. I contacted customer service by chat, they told me it wasn't canceled. What is going on? Why is it so hard to purchase and receive your product? Bewildering indeed!
Awful experience, had horrible trouble purchasing from the buggy site, and then the frames broke after less than 2 months. Apparently that's not covered under warranty. Won't buy again.

I purchased regular sunglasses sometime ago and enjoy the quality of the acetate frames and lens quality. When it came time for prescriptions I had some try on at home Warby Parker‘s sent to me. The frames were like cheap readers from a drug store. I ended up getting both regular prescription and prescription sunglasses because of a deal and superior quality of their product. Not glitch free but we worked it out. Great glasses.
