I took a survey through National Consumers (also a scam sight) and it directed me to choose from a list of about 8 companies. Once sighing up with one of these businesses I would win my prize. Which turned out to be complete BS! So, I sign up with Check3Scores for a dollar 7 day trial period, it would be $19.99 a month after the trial period for their basic service (it went as high as $49.99 per month!). I called within the trial period to
Cancel an was talked into signing up for another mont for $7.99. Again I called before the period ended and cancelled but noticed that I has a charge of $19.99 from them the following month. I called again to cancel and get a refund. This time I thought I was done wilth them... wrong. Not only did they not cancel my menbership, I didn't get a refund and once again pit billed $19.99! I finally contacted my bank and wrote to them about Check3Scores being fraudulent company and to stop any further payments to them. The bank canceled my credit card and it took over a week for them to issue a new one. But it was well worth it. Which reminds me, Check3Scores also uses ilegal practices to collect money from people. I had canceled the original credit card I used with them, so since they check credit scores they looked me up and found another credit card and billed it! Can you imagine the boldness and the nerve of this company. It's illegal to bill a different credit card. But I'm sure they figure no one will use them. We should all get together and files class action suit against them! They woohoo deserve it.
Answer: The only sucess i had with my experience with Check3Scores is when I filed the fraud complaint against them with my bank and was finally able to get rid of them.
Answer: I chose them under duress because I was doing a survey through National Consumers (the BIGGEST SCAM company out yhere) and was directed to a page where I had to pick one of about eight to get closer to winning the prize. So it turns out they were both scam companys.
Answer: It's not easy because you can't do it through their website and when you try to get through on the phone it's almost always busy. You have to be very. Persistent And even then you probably won't be helped and you'll hang up felling more frustrated.
