I would recommend them but you still to double check with their refund policy and everything else. I purchased tickets from them this year for $5989 but it would cost way more with other agency. Stay away from that other company called GotoGate Inc, they will scam you.

I booked a roundtrip ticket Boston-Argentina, everything seemed to be in order when we noticed something weird - the ticket said we were entitled to luggage on the way there but none on the way back. I figured it must be a mistake, I called customer service who basically said I'm responsible for not noticing earlier, that it's the airline's policy, and that I need to speak with the airline when I check in to change it. What I took from this is that they sell you cheaper tickets hoping you won't notice that it doesn't include luggage on half the trip, then they shirk responsibility and you end up paying more. They tell you they have live chat for customer support, I'm guessing that's a lie too. When I clicked on the link it led back to the itinerary - no chat. I called, I was on hold for about 15 minutes. In short - you pay a lot, you don't get what you're expecting, and customer service is awful.
I booked tickets in March and unfortunately became very ill before my flight. They have refused to refund me back almost $9000 in funds and continue to make up lies about the airline not refunding the money but by law they have to refund the taxes as the tickets were cancelled. Its been almost a year and still nothing back from the company. Kayak is aware of the fraud and they are allowing the scammers to hide behind their company. Avoid using them at all cost both kayak and Chat deal are working to defraud the innocent. Make sure to log in complaints with DOT ( department of transportation) and god willing this charade will end and people will be spared from losing money.
I was booking with KAYAK and the connected me to Chat deal. Purchased a ticket for a 3week holiday to see my Grandchildren, the flight is with British airways and when I called them found out I had 0 luggage and when I booked Chattel never once mentioned this to me. Spent hours on chat with an agent who said someone would get back to me. Messaged them this morning to be told contact the airline and purchase baggage from them. I am certainly take this further

Booked a 3 week international trip to see my Grandchildren through Kayak who put me through to Chattdeal, not once did they tell me there was 0 baggage allowance, the flight is with British airways, chatdeal told me to call airline to purchase baggage, how can anyone go on a 3 week trip with no luggage. Never had this problem with any other company and I will never trust Chatdeal again. The day after booking the called me to see if I wanted to purchase my seat for£96.00 REALLY!!!!!!!
Same situation happened to me like most you that wrote reviews in trying to get refunded due to medical reasons. Sounds like we need to open a class action lawsuit against ChatDeal/Kayak.com for unfair and deceptive practices.

Booked an international trip with them and ended up in the hospital a day and a half before the trip and couldn't go. They refunded way less than half the cost. They hung up on me and made promises to reevaluate but didn't. I dont believe they're even based in the USA as no one even sounds like they live here. It was a people from overseas which is fine but they have a hard time understanding me.
They sent a followup to this review asking for info so they can look into it but I've heard nothing from them. Please don't use this site. Look at all the negative reviews. It's lie after lie. They are very dishonest.

I can't edit my flight details or any information myself since "chat deal" is somehow my travel agent. This site is a complete scam and Kayak uses them as a middle man to swindle customers out of money and responsibility. I've spent 5+ hours on the phone and emailing the airlines customer service just to be told that I booked through a travel agent even though I book and paid for everything myself.

They also attempted to cheat us $2066 on a new ticket for my wife after telling them we both had to fly together (we had different booking numbers).

This website is by far the biggest scam, and the worst way to book a ticket. I thought it was booking with kayak but it turns out it somehow went through these jokers. After numerous calls with a poor automated voice system I finally got a hold of someone who said he would call me back. It's the same thing they told me three days ago. I've been booking a flight for less than 3 months, for a flight early May; they changed the Schedule already 3 times, before saying that there's no flight, before saying the schedule flight change is confirm... when I ask a refund (for their behavior is too stressful, too unprofessional, and I can't trust them anymore), I get no answer... and no refund.
They finally refused my refund.

First order: October, 28th, 10h31 (France time)
First change initiated by Chatdeal: December, 13th, 14h33. I accept, life happens.
Second change initiated by Chatdeal:, January, 11th. I still accept, though it starts being stressful.
Mail that says there's no flight: January, 16th, 02h50. Highly stressful.
Mail that says that there is a fly, but with a third change initiated by Chatdeal:January, 16th, 09h06. I answer that it's not convenient at all, but we can't stay stuck in the USA.
Mail that says the third change is accepted:Tuesday, January, 16th, 11h22., so 2 hours later
Changes are never motivated, nor explicated, and the planes for which Chatdeal cancel our tickets DO fly anyway. So, I don't understand anything, except that Chatdeal does what he wants and does not want to refund. I'll go on writing them, but it is a nightmare.

Absolutely terrible. Failed with a simple rebooking due to a change on behalf of the airline. Booked the new trip on the wrong day and then tried to extract additional money after paying for their worthless protection plan. Avoid at all costs.

Booked via Kayak but apparently that was Chatdeal. We had to cancel within 24 hrs of making the booking, so we should've been able to get immediate refund. Booked on June 1,2022. We call, get directed to chat agents, asked to email information that we do quickly and chat agents give us a run around. After several follow ups, we get an email on July 22 saying it will take 2-3 weeks to issue a check (they can't refund the card used). It's now Aug. 8 and still no feedback. Avoid this and avoid Kayak for even using them as a partner!
Chat Deal is a complete scam. My flights were cancelled by the airlines (United & Lufthansa) and they were unable to rebook us (nothing available for several days). Per US DOT, we are owed a refund. Chat Deal responded that they will not issue a refund because I cancelled the flights. I disputed the credit card charge, and Chat Deal lied in their response to my credit card saying no refund because I initiated the cancellation - completely untrue - so the credit card company closed the dispute, and we are out the full amount.

Constantly changed itinerary. It occurred to the point where we had to cancel a first night at hotel. We felt irritated at basically having no power to stop the changes, and were left in the dark about why so many alterations (6) needed to occur, and no warnings were provided about incoming shifts.

I foolishly booked an international flight through Chatdeal. Unfortunately after booking I realized I had misspelled my son's name on the ticket. I contacted Chatdeal to correct this simple mistake. It is now over a month since my initial contact with Chatdeal about this, and it still hasn't been fixed. I've had repeated interactions with Chatdeal customer service via email and phone. They tell me that they've been trying to contact the airline repeatedly to have this fixed but the airline doesn't respond. I find that impossible to believe, as I've had no trouble getting through to the airline's customer service line, and the airline customer service reps tell me they have no record of being contacted by Chatdeal. Unfortunately the airline will not correct the mistake on the ticket since I bought the ticket through Chatdeal. I've tried to talk to a supervisor at Chatdeal, of course the supervisor is always "busy". I have been repeatedly promised the supervisor would call me back, but so far they have not. Now my flight is a few days away and I'm afraid I'm going to get major hassles at the airport since my son's passport does not match the name on the ticket exactly.

My flight was cancelled due to airline staffage. Chat deal refused to give me another flight. Terrible customer service, can't get a manager or anyone speaking English on the phone. I'm buying a more expensive trip at the end, initially, my trip had a checked bag, I called to make a change to my return trip (they charged me $900 extra for that) - but now my trip shows up without a checked bag. I made a mistake booking through Kayak which in turn booked through Chatdeal. Every dealing I have had with Chatdeal is '"we submitted a request and can't do anything else". After three months and 20 chats, emails, and calls I have no progress and nobody seems to be able to talk with the airline and make a one letter correction on a name. I have escalated and get the same inaction. By the way they want to charge me $150 for the correction. Book directly with the airlines! Save yourself the risk for the extra hundred dollars because if any issue arises it will cost you much more!

I purchased plane tickets for a trip last week and ended up being charged twice for my package. I have made multiple attempts at trying to rectify the situation with customer service and get refunded for the second charge. I have spent multiple days with multiple representatives all telling me that the issue will be solved within 24 hours. There has been zero productivity towards this issue despite providing clear evidence of being charged twice. Furthermore, there was one incident of a previous conversation with a rep being deleted, so I have now had to start screenshotting my messages with customer care reps. In no way do I recommend using chatdeal, it is not worth it.

Without 24 hours of booking, I tried to change the date of my departure. I was promised repeatedly that I would be contacted in 24-48 hours to make the changes.
