Compared to other bus booking companies Charterup is really in a league of its own. Charterup connects you to independent bus operators on the platform. The pro here is that they have connected tracking and are there to ease payment and customer logistics. Easy to choose options and the best thing is that they have the highest customer satisfaction.

We booked 2 minibusses through CharterUp as a shuttle service for our wedding in early April 2023. We explained to them that smaller busses were required due to a tight turn in our road, and they agreed to send 2 small busses. This was clearly specified in the contract. They did not survey the route or apparently even look at a map in advance. On the day, they sent a huge touring coach plus another large bus, and neither one was able to reach our home. The drivers just gave up and dropped guests in the middle of the street! They spoke no English so we couldn't even talk to them about solutions.
We needed to transport over 170 people to and from our wedding and CharterUp did not deliver even a single person. On our wedding day, they did not make any attempt to make it right, by sending smaller busses or arranging other transportation. And now they refuse to refund our money even though they did not provide the contracted service.
CharterUp ruined our wedding day, with scores of our guests, many elderly, having to walk up a steep hill or take countless rideshares. And now ChartUp refuses to give us a full refund, let alone compensate us for the rideshares and the great inconvenience and stress imposed on our guests.
Do not use CharterUp under any circumstances!
Used CharterUp before. Went totally smoothly at first but the first time I had to contact customer service it was a mess. Slow to respond, pretty rude and totally unhelpful. Felt like I was told to basically just deal with the problem and move on. Felt very dismissive, which was a surprise given that I was in the process of reserving future busses as well. Needless to say, I will not be using ChartUp again. It isn't the end result that was most troubling, if the situation wasn't fixable it wasn't fixable and that is totally understandable (We tried to switch a reservation and they simply refused to work with us or discuss it), but the manner of response and the dismissiveness of it was problematic and off-putting. They refused to actually speak to me, at one point stopped responding to emails and refused to look into solving the issue. Again, it isn't even that things weren't solved, it was the process and the dismissive nature in which they would not help. Would be totally okay not getting the money back for the bus or not being able to change the reservation if it felt like they cared or even acknowledged what we were asking.
Thorough and well thought out. They take care of the boring stuff and the hassles of finding a company. Plus they got our back.
