This company is TRASH! BELIEVE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS! They are 100% a broker, they don't own a single bus, and once they have your money, they couldn't care less about what happens with your trip. The 56-passenger bus that I booked for 6 hours to take my guests to/from hotels to my wedding, never showed up. My wedding guests had to use Ubers and Lyfts, which delayed the start time, causing us to cut things short throughout our wedding day. We were only able to use the bus at the end of the night because it was over an hour late to the venue. Long story short: I paid for 6 hours and actually used it for a half an hour, one way! When I dealt with company over the screw up, they made me jump through hoops while they "investigate" and would only give me HALF of my money back. At the end of the day, I paid over $800 for a bus to take my guests 15 minutes down the road. The customer service is hot water garbage, and they should be wearing ski masks. And may God help you if you deal with Nicole Wynn! She's a troll that doesn't give a wet fart about your experience and will ghost you the second she's "considered the matter final" (her words). Do yourself a favor and find a local company that actually owns buses and spare yourself this incompetent bs of a company. They are criminals. Eat a d*#% charter up!
We arranged transportation between hotel to our event venue and the service was outstanding. The bus was well-maintained, and the ride was smooth. The bus had more than enough room for our passengers and it came with a nice running AC.
Had to shuttle 200 people between ceremony venue and reception venue afterwards in Tampa Bay. CharterUP provided clean, new buses and a professional driver.
Very responsive from the time I booked until the day of the event. My wedding planner was able to track all the buses to make sure they were on time and going to the correct location.

Booked a bus for shuttle service for an event. I got an automated text that the shuttle was going to show up over an HOUR late, the event already started. No apology from the driver or any customer service reps. None of our guests could use the shuttle so then when I wanted to cancel the shuttle back they still charged me and would not offer a refund even though they did not provide any service and derailed our event.
We had a fantastic experience with CharterUP. From booking to the end of the trip, everything was handled to perfection. It made our group travel completely stress-free. A 5-start service all around.

We booked two shuttles through CharterUp to transport guests to and from our wedding on 10/26/24. Bus #1 was supposed to arrive at 2:45pm to take guests to our 4pm wedding ceremony. It did not arrive until 3:20pm. At 3pm, we received a text from our guests that had been waiting for bus #1, notifying us that it had not arrived. At that time, I called the driver to ask what was going on. He said that "he was stuck in f**** traffic and that he would be there in ten minutes." He then hung up. It was very rude and unprofessional. A substantial number of guests were late for our wedding ceremony due to the bus's tardiness. Bus #2 was supposed to arrive at the church at 5pm to take guests to our 5:30pm reception. It did not arrive until 5:15pm. Our guests had to wait outside in the Texas heat during the bus company's delay. Neither driver reached out in advance to indicate that they would be late. As the bride and groom, we should not have been dealing with these issues on our wedding day. The bus company was late, rude and unprofessional. CharterUp only provided a small refund to compensate us for these issues on our wedding day.
Poor customer service and we would suggest that you look elsewhere for a more reputable company.

I had scheduled a bus for a playoff softball game and the bus on game day did not show up. No one would talk to me or contact me or even help at all. I scheduled way in advance and continued to talk to the company to make sure this would not happen. Terrible service and no help at all. I would give less than 0 stars if it would let me.
I had booked a site-seeing trip of New York City for 17 friends. The bus did not show up, because he did not have the correct location. The problem was when I called the driver, he spoke ALMOST NO ENGLISH. He spoke Mandarin. He could not even understand basic driving expressions like, "Do not stop here, keep going." I called the customer service line at CharterUp and told them we needed them to swap drivers, as we had a 13 hour booking for our entire day of touring. They said they would get right on it, but did NOTHING. I ended up calling 2 more times and had the exact same experiece. I even videoed me trying to communicate our needs to the driver and him constantly saying, "OK, I know" when he clearly could not understand me. They obviously didn't care. Our first stop, was to be a quick 30 minute stop, and the driver parked 0.25 mile away from the bakery we were visiting. Some people could not even get there before having to turn around. I personally stayed on the bus because I feared he would just leave us. IT WAS A MISERABLE DAY, AND CHARTERUP DID NOT ATTEMPT TO HELP US.
After the trip, I complained to CharterUp and they refunded 4% of what we had paid. They have the nerve to offer me a discount on a future booking, but I obviously have no interest in ever using their services again.
I also hated the fact that the bus that they gave us had NO visibilty forward which really stinks when you are trying to see points of interest. (see photo).
I feel that a 1 star review is generous, as I get mad every time I think about this company.

Unique experience renting a bus. When I've needed to arrange group travel before it's been hard to find a company. Usually they take hours to get back to you with a quote. This company gave me 8 quotes in real time. I was able to track my vehicle they day of the trip. Impressive! Will keep them in mind for my next event.
I had a good experience with this company. Their work was exceptional and they deserve a 5 star rating. Our vehicle was clean and it included a working ac. The driver was punctual and very polite and down to earth. Totally recommend it for your travel needs.
