I have been on the charmdate website and its affiliates off and on for several years. I am updating my previous review with the comment that it is even worse than I said originally. I would get several messages per day from women on one of the associated websites. Occasionally, I would get a message from a woman who seemed legitimate and I would respond. And I only responded to ones that were more age appropriate to me. I would not buy that a 20-something woman would be interested in a 50-some man under most circumstances.
From my experience, every one turned out to be a fraud.
I recently found a way to check to see if they are legitimate before you go too far and spend too much money. I was contacted by a woman on Facebook recently who warned me about the large number of scammers. She suggested I visit some of the popular social media sites to find the women from charmdate and contact them directly.
VK is the most common one, but facebook is also used as is Ok.ru. I would strongly advise going to these sites to investigate the women you think you are talking to. You will need to use google translate or have your browser translate. Recently, I checked on 20 women who all seemed legitimate.
All were scammers. 0 for 20. Thirteen of them acted as though they didn't even know who I was, even though we already communicated several times. Five of them said they wanted com communicate on the charmdate site only. Two of them said their VK accounts didn't work any longer even though I could see them online and Ok.ru showed a woman read my message.
I took a sample like this in the hopes I could find a good one but also realizing that it was very unlikely. I know some say they have found success but they are the very few who aren't being scammed or they are hired by the website to lie. I found that not one of 20 women were legitimate. This site is one of the biggest scams on the internet and would likely be shut down if it was headquartered in the United States.
I cannot overstate how much I have appreciated all of the assistance CS team has provided to me in resolving the issue that I encountered with the three woman when I first joined the site.
All these Russian/Ukrainian dating sites like Goldenbride, Charmdate, Jump4love and UAdates are a scam. These women are being paid a commission to communicate with you or it is a third party communicating as the woman. Notice how all these "Professionals" all use the same photographic studio or the same photographer. Perfect hair and makeup) hell if you are really observant they all wear the same clothes. It appears all the website are working through the same agency because they are all using the same photos. Look at the letters they send you. Basically it's a computer generated form letter they fill out with your name attached at the top; or sometimes it will just say Name) they also will cut a paste from other letters as well. I had one send me back the same letter I sent to her) with a few changes. If you look at the multiple sites you will see the same women; using different profile information, i. E., different jobs, A doctor on one site and a cosmetologist or an designer on another)) The only people getting benefits from this are the websites and the women; they are making tons of cash off of vulnerable older men primarily. I have exposed so many of these scammers I take great pleasure in messing with them. Do yourself a big favor and check out a website called vk.com this is the Russian/Ukrainian version of Facebook. I assure you if you search this site you'll most likely find the woman you are communicating with. These women are attention whores and love to post everything regarding their lives. Then you'll know the truth. Trust me if it's really her and you ask for communication on vk which is free, suddenly all the excuses start or they will say its not them managing the account. I heard that many times too)) Additionally, do a google reverse image search on their personal photos; not the website photos you'll be amazed at where some of the photos can take you. My advice, stay the hell away from these emotional prostitutes; they are nothing but money sucking leeches.
As far as any rebuttal from the websites they are just covering their asses; they have zero credibility and are completely complicit in the fraud!
I have written no fewer than 22 reviews (another name) of these PPL sites explaining how they are all corrupt and frauds.
What has happened over the few years of digging into this industry is that I gave photo evidence along with details of it all my reviews here and on Trustpilot have been hidden from public view. Site "agent", would try to refute my review or make a comment to this site claiming I am not on their site or something else.
Many of the photos listed on this review are from me. I have many more, alone with proof of how this scam works.
CharmDate is just the host for local agencies in said country. If most of you are not aware, Charm is a China based company under qcupid.
These local agencies make deals with Charm to post profiles of "their" ladies. I have a photo of a Charm rep at one of the agencies in Kyiv. These agencies work with other hosting sites, i. E Anastasia, Natashaclub and the list goes on and on. It is a HUGE money making industry to rob you of your money on false hopes.
One thing you all will notice is the support from Charm is weak and always pointing the finger back to the local agencies claiming not responsibility.
I have done more than 10 YouTube videos with the owner of a local agency in Ukraine. We talk about how the scam works and what guys can do to get their money back.
I have spoken to many guys off this site and other to help them expose the fraud they are being subject too. Just message me here and I will reply to you. Let's work together to expose this fraud, before you waste any more money. I can point you in the right directions on how to really find your Ukrainian woman and it will not cost you a dime.
I have been to Ukraine more than 17 times in 5 years. I will go for weeks, if not a month at a time. I found my women there, but not off a fraud site. I have been with her now for over 3 years. What I try to do is show men the fraud and point then in the right direction to find their amazing Ukrainian woman.
I left this site as I have found my significant other.)))) I wish you all well. With positive attitude, you will make it!
I had a very tainted picture of Russia before I knew of Charmdate. I have so far found those sexy Russian women and I love the going. So far so good.
I read some of the reviews on this site. Some think it is scam. I think it is not that bad. I got my love's address though the price is shy high.
CD provides "conversation" written by staff, "messages" written by customers can only be by the customer
I keep meeting great, fun, good-looking girls on Charmdate.com. It costs a little more, but the results speak for themselves.
You can use charmdate via asiame.com and foud the sister sites. Not dates.
It is hard to find love today and what can i do to find my soulmate?
I spent about a year on the site and had to go through a few tossers before I finally meet the love of my life
Beware! Beware! Beware! CharmingDate is a SCAM. I've been messaging with this girl for weeks, almost daily. I really feel she is genuine but she is definitely brainwashed by the site or held against her will. She told me she has a contract with her agency, a local dating service and they contract with the site. I managed to send her my phone, website and email coded in messages and she received them. She insists on going through the process with the site. Our latest agreement was that she will ask for my info and even pay from her side. I doubt they will let her! I'm sure that organized crime are behind the site and probably they are threatening those girls and holding them hostage against their will. This is the latest form of human trafficking. To turn the table on them I also told them that I want to hire an approved immigration lawyer. Beware when you pay for credits, I always bought a few at a time. I noticed that they double charged my credit card four times. I cancelled it. Don't give them your real ID. They might sell it in the black market and you will be a victim of ID theft. There is an organization that fight human trafficking, it's IJM.org (International Justice Mission). We need to report to them these cases especially when we can see that a woman is being held against her will. The least that can be done is to shut down their ability to charge credit cards. We need to go after the money, making hard for them to collect. If enough complaints are filed, Visa MC, AMEX will ban them. It's time to put those crooks out of job. This is a duty for us all to get retribution for being scammed and to spare others.
I met a Ukraine girl on Charmingdate two weeks after signing up. We talked on Live Chat and later talked on a love call. Never been easier.
I am 42 year old guy who was not really lucky with Swedish Women. I know that half of the world adores them but I like women from Russia :) Joined a few popular russian dating sites (CharmDate, RussianGirls4u, RussianCupid, AnastasiaDate) and decided to give it a try.
Well, you need to know that CharmDate and AnastasiaDate have a completely different pricing model than RussianGirls4u and RussianCupid, which charge a monthly fee and you can message as many women as you like while CharmDate and AnastasiaDate charge by how many women you communicate with. I am not saying that one is better than the other, just telling you that one may become more expensive than the other, depends on how frequently you use them.
Talking about members I found that CharmDate and AnastasiaDate seem to have more beautiful women in their member base than RussianGirls4u and RussianCupid. I am not sure how many of them are actually time wasters and how many really want to meet you.
Okay, just wanted to give you a quick comparison. Now let's talk about CharmDate.
Been activley using it for three weeks and chatted with a few nice women. Most of them are adorable. So it is definately a place to chat with nice women from Russia but I did not many to go anywhere with the women I was chatting with.
Conlcusion: CharmDate seems to be fine if you wanna chat with a few women from Russia and potentially want to get to know them a little more. I saw that it can become quite cost intensive which makes you wanna think of some alternatives like RussianGirls4u and RussianCupid but if you don't mind the costs it seems to be a good starting point. Just keep in mind not to have wrong expectations. You won't meet your desired lady just by chatting 2-3 days. It takes a lot of patience and also cash.
Considering all that all of the sites I have used were different from each other but absolutely legit. Maybe some fakes and scammers on some sites, I guess that is something you can't avoid.
Charmingdate so many scammers on this site, everything you see are `scamms` an lies), profile Alina C******* is lowlife scammer using modell natasha belle pics, a nother two profiles there natalia C******* is the same woman svetlana C******* i have told them they havent done nothing as yet a while back an tell you to communicate with the scammer, have good reason to believe imposters the agencys use womans profile also) one woman didin`t know she said that
When you reply to live chats several times you get no answer but your credit still goes) when its only ment to once woman replies more scammers then real here
How much money you got...
Within 1 week i had 300 requests from what was most all models. I am 47 and 5.6 i am not a model. So the reasons for why 300 will be contacting me that would not give me a time of day in the UK are few.
I went in aware its likely a scam but kept my mind open. For 1 credit its $8.1 credit equals 1 picture you open when sent one by the girl. I didn't know this until i had zero balance so watch out. They send you pics to trick you to use up credits so you buy more.
In chat 1 credit lasts around 5 min text chat. The site has made every possible effort to prevent you from sharing information to meet up. Thus the goal of the site is not for you to meet any of them. Its just a revenue tool for the site owners to make money out of unsuspecting people. Without any intent to have any meet up. The text messages go through a filter. She said all the good stuff you would say to someone you liked or fancied.
I tried various means to get info to the person i was talking to. She would say it was received as***** or my picture i uploaded was blurred.
As a last test i wrote down my email and put it up to the camera on camshare. She said she could see it when i had to asked 4 times. She didnt write it down and when questioned she said she took a screen shot. She implied she was in watford and we should meet up. Wanted my address, but i would not provide it. I said i wont be going back as the site is a rip off. As £100 just for pics and around 20 min chat is crazy. I said if she wanted to meet up to use my email i provided. So far nothing. I gave the site a fair chance to be genuine and with someone in their 40s. If after £100 your not able to exchange details then you know its a complete scam. Stay away gents.
I was conversing with a woman who was unmarried, childless, and new great English. I paid a private investigator firm to find this woman only $60. Best money ever spent. Turns out that this woman was a combination of a model and a translator. I happened upon the model who had lent her image and her social media site had the photo shoot pictures. Everything unraveld because the model was actually divorced, had a child and knew no English. Further, the model had linked to her social media site to this about the Charming site.
Here is a google translation of the sites description as it hawks itself to women to participate in the scam:
How to find yourself. How to entertain yourself. How to live well and rest elegantly. As afford what was previously available,,,,, girls, women, ladies! Marriage agency for permanent work need models, translators!
This group was created to find cute wonderful motivated individuals I want to make you an offer. At dating site Charming I need is you, Your charisma and appearance as well which is important to make doing and just have fun! And earn 300 ye a month!
I suggest three ways to participate;
1. Offered a job as a translator in our dating with foreign gentlemen. This requires just a desire to register on the site and earn money to correspond with gentlemen as well. The ability to go to the meeting. Receive gifts! Shopping for the girl and her happy eyes with gratitude the best-man)
2. Vtoroy way it does not work for the agency. Just register and go to the meeting with the men. Receive with money for hours spent in his company. Receive presents brought from abroad and eat for the best restaurants of the city! And have fun in the company of a charming girl translator))
3. I third most simple way. Generally not participate in any activities. Simply register and a nice bonus in the form of gift bears, good spirits and t DA Passive income is also a percentage of the interpreters work with your profile.
Incidentally Girls forgot to add the most important thing. Photoshoot is free to all participants in a very cozy atmosphere. Coffee and fun pastime all guarantee.!
An example:
Picture 1. Gabriela Profile picture on Gabriela Krainova Instagram account June 2020

Picture 2. Gabriela Profile on CharmDate (ID: C*******)
Picture 3. Gabriela and her man about April 2019
Picture 4. Gabriela and her man about May 2019 (Monaco)
Picture 5. Gabriela and her man about October 2019
Picture 6. Gabriela and her man about November 2019. Caption Translation: "Thank God for you"
Picture 7. Gabriela and her man in the elevator to their "New Home" mid-May 2020
Picture 8. Gabriela and her man celebrating their "New Home" mid-May 2020. Caption Translation "With the housewarming us Vlad and I move. HORRAY".
I wonder if this woman actually has time to chat with this site's "Customers" between her man, her modeling jobs, travelling, and the other three plus dating sites where she has a profile posted.
All of this reminds me of the Aerosmith "Sweet Emotions" music video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=82cJgPXU-ik
Good luck to you, but all this looks too suspicious and risky for me.
I give this dating site one star which is one star too much, but they have some pretty women working for them. I suppose these women can't live on sex alone so they do need to earn a living some other way. So, why not take easy money from poor suckers looking for romance or possibly a wife through online dating. What a bunch of crap. The sad part is, for the few ladies on this site who are like you searching for a new life, they get burned along with you. Please read on, it's like a good book, you can't put it down.
A little of my experience and what I've concluded. I joined the site for free which was nice. Got tons of admirer mail from pretty ladies ranging from 18, wow just a legal age, imagine that, all the way up to 49. This is where they really start getting, should I dare say, ugly. I hate that word, lets say not so pretty. Sorry, older ladies. By the way, my search was 44 - 56. In the admirer mail from these ladies is where they have one chance to hook you like a fish a reel you in, so the letter they send you is really good. Sweet sailing guys. The next step is EMF Mail, where you have to buy credits to send and receive letters from the lady of your dreams. A credit ranges from 7 dollars and it cost 1 credit to send a letter and 1 credit to receive a letter. Your goal is to exchange personal information so you can get to correspond freely without using the dating site and eventually meet the lady of your dreams. This site will re-write your letters, removing any such information or even block you, in every attempt to reach your goal. All sisters of this site, do business in the same way. Yes, BUSINESS. A clean, legit, business. The EMF mail is not there biggest cash flow, the biggest is phone chats. My friends open up your wallets, and I hope it's a big wallet. At a cost of I credit per minute. Are you good at math? Overall, I spent $350 to learn a valuable lesson. My wallet is still doing good.
Here is some advice & what to look for to learn quickly if the lady of your dreams is legit. Her letters will be short with no positive meaning. Ask her for her favorite spot in her city. She will not answer your questions directly, leading you elsewhere. Do a scheduled Love Call to the lady. This will allow you to do a very important test. Send her an EMF mail asking her if she will exchange personal information such as email address's, so you can proceed without the dating site. GOOD LUCK.
Finally: do some research online with other dating sites to see how many sites she may be working on. Don't get to upset as they do have to earn a living.
Best of luck to everyone in their search. I'm out of here...
Answer: My verdict after a year of using Charmdate: it's total fraud! I had been in a close contact with many girls for a year until I finally left the site. Now I'm convinced that pretty much all of them were scammers. I had not met any of them! All of them suddenly came up with some kind of excuse in the last minute as to why they couldn't have a real meeting with me. Bullsh*t! It can't be a coincidence when I had 4 dates on http://j4Iove.com After using it for 3 months only. Can you explain the difference? There is just one realistic explanation: Charmdate women were fakes and scammers.
Answer: The question "Can I trust the site" is easy. The answer is no. The real question is "can I trust the girl" and that is harder to answer since there are some real women on the site. Here are some things to consider. Many men have signed up for tours or independent visits to meet a girl only to have the site call at the last moment and tell them they either have found someone else or decided they were not interested. By that time they already have their ticket and "tour" booked and paid for. We don't know if your girl is real or not and you might find yourself a "victim" of their fraud. Before you trust her, you need to be able to separate her from the site and confirm the relationship independent of the agency. There are ways of doing this. Ask her to send pictures that she has posted on her private web sites. Google them and make direct contact. I googled any picture of wome writing to me. Many were on VK.com, the equivalent of facebook. So I set up an account there and contacted the ladies. Most immediately blocked me. One who did not simply told me she would ONLY correspond with me on Charming date. You can also try to find a way to give her your phone number and ask her to call you collect. Most of the time your letters will be edited to prevent such information so you'd have to be creative. Tell her about a 2025 mile trip you took and fill out the rest of the telephone number with number of gas station stops meals eaten, people visited, etc etc. If you really want to you can call her, assuming you are actually talking to her and not a fake agent. Find out where she works. Call there and get her direct number. Try anything. But so long as you are only writing emails, you should assume little correspondence between the profile and the emails you are getting. Odds are if you are corresponding with a real woman, much of your correspondence has been "enhanced" or even written by the agency and you will have to start over getting to know her. Independent studies indicate that you have a higher chance of marrying a translator for the agency than you do of marrying the girl to whom you thought you were writing.
Answer: Do they get paid? Not in a conventional way set up in a western society. Charming Date, gets its women from "affiliates" in Ukraine. These "dating groups" go out and advertise for women, who are seeking western men. The site pays the "affiliates" money for each women's profile they get to use the site. I CANNOT definitely say that the affiliate groups are set up to pay the women. They feed them a lot of bullshit about how easy it is to marry a western man. In Ukraine, the average salary is about 200 bucks a month. A lot of these women love that country, but want a better life. The dating sites know this and use this as their leverage to get women to sign up. They really BELIEVE that someone is going to marry them. That is their dream and the dating sites tell them that the dream will never be realized if they are not exposed to a society (western) that can give them a better life. Not all of those women are scammer's. You have groups within the affiliated dating service group, that is filled with nothing but scammers. I am SURE that the leader of these groups ASK to be paid for each women they get to sign up.If they DO pay a woman, she is not getting hardly anything at all. A Ukrainian woman is not going to get rich advertising herself online at different dating sites. I would say she is lucky if she even gets 10% of a reply. And then that is eaten up by all the photo-shopping that is done to make them look more beautiful. She is stuck, she does not realize how hard it is to get her out of the Ukraine because the dating site will not ever tell her of the VISA restrictions that are attached to Ukrainian citizens when it comes to visiting the West. But the dating site is her only hope., so she stays with it not because of the little she may be getting, but because she believes that she will find a real husband from the west. To the dating sites, she is nothing but the product they advertise to make money off of, and some of the women have gotten hip to that. I have had a couple talk to me seriously about how they felt they were not being informed on how hard it is to marry a western man because of the restrictions on the average Ukrainian's VISA. The dating site WANTS you to fall in love with one, wants you to keep buying credits, spending money, and if you are communicating with a lady from one of the crooked affiliate sites, she will be encouraging you to keep writing, or will try to seduce you with words. A real lady does not do that, even in the sites. If you tell her the site is too high, she wants to know how much you pay. If you tell her you can only write her once a week, she will tell you that she will cherish each letter you send. If you are in a site that has video chat, you can SEE the very woman you are talking too, which Charming Date may have now. A true Ukrainian woman will introduce you to her family through the video chat, show you her brothers and sisters, because Ukrainians are all about family. They are proud of their families and want them to meet you. I have done this several times at another site and even send emails to them without the use of a site, but it costs them a lot of money to respond to you, to have what you send to them interpreted. CharmingDates plays this game two ways, they pimp the woman without her knowing how hard it will be to get this dream, and they scam you thinking you are just going to find a wife here just by a few chats or letters. You might, but you can bet you will be spending a lot of money to send and respond to letters. CharmingDate cheats on their chat feature by NOT giving you the full time you pay for, and they DO have women, who are members of the dating site, answering chat invitations. So, that should tell you something right there. Because there seem to be no restrictions or laws governing these crooked affiliate sites from Ukraine, this will not ever stop. But... there are a few sites out there that you can really meet some decent, nice, attractive and respectful women from Ukraine. After you have been around for awhile, you can smell a scam a mile away. A real Ukrainian woman will SURPRISE you with how friendly she is. She will SHOCK you with how humble she is. All she wants... is for you to be her friend and she HOPES, that it becomes more than that. There are many, many attractive women there. This I learned AFTER my first post here. But because there are so many, the men there take them for granted and will leave them in a minute. They are there, they are in Charming Date, but there is so many frauds and scammers there also, the dating site can easily get out of trouble by saying they have no policies at all governing the affiliates who sell them profiles of women they recruit. The site says "no scams", that is true for any society that has laws, but they do not get these women from a society based on that. So, it is easy for a woman and the company she works for, to scam the site, which I am sure... they know it. Good luck out there! Search the sites hard, there are some Ukrainian women that are really worth your time and attention. I am continuing to find out more and more about Ukraine. It is a very interesting place. It also seems that, the more you seem to want to know about their country, the more honest women are attracted to you. The more intelligent you act towards them, the more credible the women seem to get. It seems like a word goes around the country that says" this guy has a real interest in our country, he is worth being serious with" The truth be told, a lot of dudes, pay that little money to those women, and want nothing but virtual sex from them. That is how I believe the scammers got a foothold in the industry. The cry for immoral (smile). Everything you have read here is based on my personal opinion, on things I have learned while talking and dealing with women from Ukraine. When they were asking me about the unrest in America, about holidays, about how streets look like, you can assume... she is probably on the level. She will NOT EVER ask you for a DIME, nor will she send sob stories about someone in her family being sick. The true Ukrainian woman, for all her humbleness, is still a very PROUD woman. She may not have ANYTHING, but she will not ask anything from you! Personally... I think if you get a chance to get ahold of a true one? That Slavic woman is going to love you to death, no matter WHAT you look like... just have a decent heart and treat her correctly.
Answer: I flew to Kiev and found this site to be much of what others have said. The woman are paid. Local model agencies refer girls to this site to make extra money. One girl told me she made fifty per cent of what she brought in. When I surprised a couple of girls that I was in Kiev vacationing they were all of a sudden leaving Kiev on there own vacation. I found meeting girls in Kiev at bar/restaurant I was much better off. If you notice girls send you the same pictures just to build their tally and so on. If you stick to a letter a week and see where it goes from there it will keep your costs low if you want to keep investigating this site. But my recommendation is travel to Kiev during winter and Oddessa during summer and see what happens.
Answer: It's a fake and scam site.
Answer: Any positive feedback here about Charm Date is a complete lie. Don't believe anything.
Answer: They will not do this. I actually wrote them about a month, maybe two back about policies. This was one of them I wondered about and they said they do not provide that service anymore. They also do not support IMBRA.
Answer: You have to request them to do this. I would delete all your photos, and erase everything you can. Then make the request.
Answer: This site appears to be a complete rip off, far too expensive, gives nothing in return except endless chat.
CharmDate has a rating of 2.5 stars from 698 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with CharmDate most frequently mention contact information, total scam and good luck. CharmDate ranks 4th among Russian Dating sites.
