Though a long drawn out process where the part needed for my car was in short supply Carshield hung in there with me. With the dealership searching AND Carshield searching too for the part after 2 failed to program to my car, we were able to locate exactly what was needed after 6 months and it programmed to my car immediately without incident! Through the collaborative effort of myself, dealership and Carshield we stayed in contact and got the job done and completed.
Dealership was initially not interested in working with Carshield because they had been burned before and NOT paid for job completed early on in Carshield's beginnings. Thanks to excellent CS when I relayed this to the company they reached out to the leery dealership and insured them they had updated and upgraded their systems. My dealership agreed to work with Carshield tho skeptical and got everything done in the 6 month timeframe. I picked my car up last week and it's driving great. I signed off on the invoice at pickup, paid my deductible and will be following up with Carshield to ensure my dealership was paid in full!
I've so far been satisfied with Carshield and will continue to support them as long as they continue to keep up this quality of services for my prized possession car. Thanks Carshield and Jenkins Dodge service department for your hard work and dedication to getting my car back in the road.

I told you I can't afford the service. You offered an extension. The next month I called the day of payment to cancel you took the payment anyway. I asked for a refund for this was same day, you said you don't give refund made the same day & proceeded to state I should have called sooner. Well when you get to be 67yrs old hopefully you'll remember time management & appts have a way of wearing you down. I asked for a supervisor your tone changed said someone will call me 24-48 hrs. This was Monday & I'm giving my review Wednesday, no call back. How can I give you a good review when this is your response.

I had to update my credit card information due to the fact that it was compromised. The I spoke to was extremely patient and understanding took care of the problem right away.

Car shield is a scam. I signed on with car shield in order to offset the little things on my car that insurance didn't cover. When my car ended up having transmission issues it took forever for them to get me into a shop. They finally told me to go to a place and the shop and car shield had zero communication with each other and my car sat there for almost 2 months. I was on the phone with the mechanic and car shield nonstop because they failed to communicate with each other. I was doing more work than car shield. Eventually I pulled my car out of that garage and brought it to a different car shield affiliated shop. When I finally got it to the other shop, I ended up paying for my own diagnostics and almost paying 100% of the repair cost for the issue with my car. Car shield didn't do anything except draw this process out for almost 3 months. I ended up paying more with car shield. Not only did I pay for my own replacements, but I also had to pay them a monthly fee for nothing.
Long story short car shield is a scam. You might as well just save the money that you'd pay them each month and just stash it away so you can fix your car if it breaks down. In the end you will be paying way more with car shield.

Car made a weird noise like a drill going off. Brought to car dealer and they found out what it was, called car shield and they approved it right away. As they were working on it found something else wrong, called car shield and again approved it, plus set me up with a rental. Glad I have them.

Submitted claim. Denied, parts not covered. Was clearly noted in the contract certain parts not covered. The representative offered a list of mobile mechanics, perhaps cost would be less.

Because CarShield sent an inspector out to inspect the repairs in advance, my Repair Shop couldn't start the repairs timely. Then CarShield would not tell them how much of the bill CarShield would pay until I had approved my portion! My portion was incorrect because Belts & Hoses that were covered with oil, weren't included in CarShield's estimate! The owner of my Repair Shop said they had never had a warranty company do that! They said they only dealt with CarShield for me because I was a repeat customer and wouldn't deal with CarShield under any other circumstances! I am dropping CarShield! They are awful! I brought my car to the Repair Shop 8 days ago and it wasn't ready till today!

Unfortunately, my car broke down early on Saturday so I was close enough to the dealership to take it in and drop it off and when they came back and told me I needed a whole new engine and that it would cost me about $8000 I whipped out my car shield membership card and handed it to him and I said can we give this a try so the dealership did what they had to do on their end and unfortunately because of it being the weekend and then a holiday Monday it seemed like time was dragging, but both the dealership and car shield were working very diligently on their end. I turned in all my receipts as long as I have had the car they reviewed it that process took me a little time to learn, but I figured my way through it with the help of one of the representatives so they sent out an inspector to look at the vehicle. Discussed with the dealership with that they would take care of and the prices that they would agree on and from there, everything just fell into place instead of having to install a whole new engine. It was some gear crank in the engine, blah blah blah, and that reduce the price to about $2500. Well once the inspector took a look at everything he said it was covered and all I paid was my deductible. I was ecstatic. I wasn't sure if this was going to be the real deal or if I had got stiff, but I'm so happy I got car shield thank you guys.
