Generally, satisfied. Above my deductible I had to lay out an additional $295.00 which I did not expect nor welcome. To complete the necessary repair, the ignition wire and spark plugs needed to be removed. Which necessitated the replacement of both components. I understand those two items are not covered, however, since the oil leak repair required their disturbance I believe Car Shield should have covered the cost including additional labor fee for replacement. Let me say, I realize CarShield does not consider coverage of items under the contract. I would not put in a claim for just ignition wire and spark plugs had they not been intricate parts of the complete repair. It seems that when necessitated these items should be included in the total repair cost. I hope you use my thoughts as a gentle push to include such items in total repair going forward. I have a 2017 Genesis G80 with only 37K miles; I was having a transmission problem which, ultimately, was diagnosed as faulty. Why, at 37K miles, I have no idea! I just picked up the vehicle today and it runs like new. The only concern I had when talking with the Car Shield folks initially was that my $100 deductible wouldn't cover the needed replacement cost. Although I took the car to the only Genesis dealer in Las Vegas, when the claim was submitted, their hourly labor costs and time for repair exceeded the standard used by Car Shield. Having said that, I AM VERY HAPPY with the amount that was agreed upon--an out-of-pocket expense of $1,770.

I bought this extended warranty while I had less than 30,000 miles on my truck. The price was right and the service is exemplary. I had a great time dealing with the company, and am looking forward to the peace that having this warranty will give me for the next 5 years

When I originally got your service, your representative told me that I was covered bumper-to-bumper on anything now I get told you will only cover me $200 on a transmission problem and a DEFproblem that your people say is none of your problem I am completely dissatisfied with your abilities. I think you misled me your representative did anyway it's going to cost me out-of-pocket $2200 because of your people's misrepresentation to me I am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau and telling everyone I know and believe me, I know lots of people. After reviewing further, it appears that the out-of-pocket costs for the transmission repairs are due to your deductible rate, according to the contract, as well as discrepancies between the labor rates used by the repair facility and those recommended by a nationally recognized labor guide. Additionally, the DEF system is not listed for coverage on your contract. The covered vehicle, a 2017 with approximately 100,007 miles was destroyed in a collision. No significant claims were made to Car Shield on this vehicle.

I paid for years, ask car shield to help fix car twice, I was denied. I am clearly closing the account as soon as possible. Car shield is a fraud. Delete my number and never ever contact me again

Due to scheduling issues, this never got solved every time I talk to Car Shield. I got a different person who told me a different thing then I finally got somebody who told me to go down to Centerville, which is very long way from me and when I got down there and they said you needed an appointment and I specifically asked the young lady do I need an appointment She said no so the issue isn't resolved. I don't plan to resolve the issue, but I will keep Car Shield for hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
