My check light came on and I quickly got the truck to my mechanic. Car shield came to the rescue again. My timing chain was off and had to be replaced. That is a very large repair. The mechanic was on top of the issue and took great care of me and my truck.

Leaky power steering hose. Approximate repair cost $720.00. I ended up paying $360.00. Therefore, I ended up paying $200 Deductible and an additional $170.00 Car Shield refused to pay.

Although they did not pay for a new battery, they did convince that I shouldn't have to pay for a diagnostic on my car, just for the need of a new battery, something that should have been checked before doing a total diagnostic.

I would like car shield to know that the gentleman I spoke to at customer service named Carl was extremely helpful getting me a car rental at Enterprise in Iowa City, Iowa. Carl went out of his way to help me and I was well I don't think I've ever used this word before but I was giddy and very comfortable as Carl took complete charge of everything did everything for me and he made it very easy no stress no worries and I wish I could thank him more! I hope car shield realizes and values Carl's dedication.

My Mechanic will not work on my car because he has to stay on the phone with a Carshield representative to get the approval to do the repair. Then the Carshield representative will not agree to the amount the book allows to do the job.

Carshield was very fast in responding & gave us a call to let us know that it was just the $100 deductible & that if we let them send the part to the Dealership, instead of using the Dealership part that we wouldn't have to pay another $58 for the Dealerships part cost.
We are now just waiting for the part to come into the Dealership.

I was having problems with my ac/heating system and a leak of some kind. I take my car in for repairs. It took the inspection to occur over 3 days. The approval almost a week. I ran out time with the rental before my car was repaired

They finally paid but they took too long to approve it and now it seems they are going to take a month to reimburse me for my car rental. They also didn't let the mechanic put on a part that he requested and then I had to pay to have it done a week later when it went bad like the mechanic said it would.
