First time I actually had to test my CarShield policy was when I had taken my mother and aunt out of town a hundred seventy miles from home. Just dropped my aunt off at her daughter's house. And suddenly my car wouldn't start. True to their word a tow truck picked up my and a rental until my car was serviced. Fuel pump had gone out and it was over nine hundred dollars and gotten home a few days later an issue came up with the installation of the pump. Took it back to the mechanic who corrected the problem with no fuss no muss. Just good honest service.

Jeannie was able to get adjusted rate from North Miami Toyota Service writer, Juan Hernandez, who wanted to charge 3 hours labor to install an alternator. The max this should take is 2 hours and a good mechanic should only take one hour. I will not use NM Toyota again and if I do need repairs in future, I will ask CarShield to recommend a shop.

I was ready to cancel my contract due to our mechanic not one who uses Car Shield when repairing any of our 3 cars - too much of a hassle for approval snd payment. He fixed our 3 cars in past 2 years with refusal but gave us a discount.
Your representative on the phone told me to go on the website because there are 31 auto shops in Honolulu/Hawaii that accept Car Shield so l will be looking up that list for next car repair!

I was very interested in the how the service was going to work. Sorry that I had to cancel before it got started. But being on a fixed income, I just couldn't make ends meet. The sale people I worked with was very helpful. If I can make ends meet, I will give it another try.

Went in for valve cover gasket. Did a great job!but while the mechanic was in there.seen my timing chain was about to break! So they fixed it as well! While in the shop. Glad we took it in when we did and car shield payed for it all.we had 200.00 deductible but that was all.all together it was all most 4000.00 dollar but they payed the rest

Due to scheduling issues, this never got solved every time I talk to Car Shield. I got a different person who told me a different thing then I finally got somebody who told me to go down to Centerville, which is very long way from me and when I got down there and they said you needed an appointment and I specifically asked the young lady do I need an appointment She said no so the issue isn't resolved. I don't plan to resolve the issue, but I will keep Car Shield for hopefully nothing else goes wrong.
