I took my Infiniti QX60 hybrid in the the dealership because my car was jerking. I told the tech that I had Car Shield. He called and was given an estimate. Car Shield paid to replace my transmission and I paid a very small portion plus my deductible. Had it not been for Car Shield, I may have been without a car or would have had to trade mine in with a shotty transmission and gotten pennies for a trade. Glad I have it.

My vehicle had a problem with the airbag on the passenger that was inoperative. The service department at the dealership sent in the request for payment but you denied it.
I have filed 2 claims with Carsheild and both times they have me pay a deductible and 1/2 of what they say they cover. Unless your mechanic shop wants to use cheap parts you will have to pay the difference for good parts. The mechanic was going to have to replace my water pump and CarShield would not even cover the fluids. Be careful, when I signed up they said the engine is covered but when I had to file for a leak they said not internal parts are covered. I would have been better off saving my monthly payments and just paying out of pocket.

We do send out the contract at the time of sale and address on the sales call that at the Administrator's election, repair or replacement of covered parts will be made with parts of like kind and quality, including but not limited to new, used, or remanufactured. When I brought my van into the dealer to look at the issues I was having, he told me that some of it might be taken care of thru CarShield. He called CarShield & within 24 hours I found out that CarShield approved the work to be done. Absolutely no hassles

After speaking with multiple representatives there's was only one that got things in order. I haven't had my car since December 20,2024. And I still don't. I'm praying that exhausting experience will be my last. I don't wish bad experiences one anyone. As this is my first one with car shield hoping in the future I can have my car back with 72 hrs and 30 days n counting.
Communication still be much better with the option on your list.
