Not bad but not good either. Oil pump housing leaking oil because of the oil pump gears but you all want repair oil pump gears for some reason

For the first time ever using car shield, since having you for 4+ yrs. Car Shield found a way to not pay one penny for my repairs. Now, at $99.99 for close to 5 yrs., hell, I could have paid for work than $1400. 00 my damn self! 😔

Iexperience. Right Fair I wound up having to pay some of the bill which I should not have to do. They put me a rebuilt transmission in my truck that is already given trouble. Been less expensive to went ahead and put original Ford transmission and been done with it. Sometimes companies have to learn to buy the best saves in the long run.

Very disappointed in the time and process, and the coverage. Even after the dealership called Car Shield an adjuster was still sent out, estimate doe right away but decision not made until two days later and the parts were not even ordered then. We had the car in the shop for 8 days with only one week coverage for a rental. It was very upsetting that carshield didn't even cover 1/2 of the expenses. My husband was more upset than I. We are really considering whether or not to continue with Carshield. Makes me wonder how your roadside service is, or if I had been traveling!

My customer service rep responsible for assisting in my cancellation of a specific service plan should NEVER be allowed to work in this group ever! This rep (Dameon) could not stop insisting that I listen to his way of addressing my reason for cancelling the contract, INSTEAD of listening to what the customer wants. NOTE: This type of behavior has never been experienced with Carshield since I've begun contracting with them for at least, the past 3 years. I have always had excellent service with the Carshield support group - until yesterday., And so, this (I hope) was an isolated incident by a rogue employee who should be removed from this group as soon as possible and never allowed to work in customer service group again.

Dear Carshield Company, in November 2023, I decided to get your policy for one of my cars, Mercedes Benz 2014 – ML350 as I meant to keep this SUV for years for my collections. One year and 2 month later, facing a problem with the camshaft, when I contacted the dealer (Brooklyn Benz and Fort Washington), they told me that they DO NOT work with you. Any repair from Benz Dealer, I will have to pay myself. I went to other places in Brooklyn, none of them really interested to deal with you even if my preference is 100/100 the dealer. Due to that trusted issue and you never help before, I requested cancelation and full refund. I clearly said that I want DEALER SERVICE ONLY if it breaks down. If the Benz dealer does not want to work with you, it can't be my problem. Worst of all, you kept collecting money on my AX card every month as if I am covered by my preference. Please, give me all my money back. Contract #: MRF******* Letter sent since March 18th 2025 with invoices attached at *******@americanautoshield.com, supervisor should call back, till now i am waiting. Please follow up at your earliest convenience and I hope that we can come to an abide and complaint resolution by law.

Dealership price points exceeded the coverage limits associated to repair. Had to pay out of pocket for portion of repair post deductible. Just an FYI, felt a tad bit misleading based on the way they structure claims of meet your deductible and we do the rest. There is no Searchable denomination cap on their website to help navigate scheduled work meets the criteria of what we are willing to pay. Transparency would be optimal to find a service provider in network that would complete scope at the allotted part/labor cap.

I was required (because of steering failure to take my truck to a local repair facility. The owner of that facility was looking out for the reputation of his repair shop and would not accept aftermarket or used parts. I was only able to pay for a new power steering assembly which I was satisfied with.
