I have been paying Carshield for about a year with no previous claim I had one the other day for windshield wiper repair and they denied it. It does not coincide to why they denied my claim with nothing in my contract about this. I immediately cancelled my membership and am requesting a refund of my money. They are bank rolling monthly fees and then deny repairs. This company should also be sued. If this is happening, I really want to jump on board with it. This is disgusting ripping customers off and then find some ridiculous reason to deny claim. Please do not join any plan with this company. All of their commercials are lies.

This is the worst service I've ever had in my life they promise to pay for it things that are covered in the warranty and they do not deliver on any promises they send the same adjuster out and then they lie and say they help you pay for car towing car rental I haven't received anything back I would not recommend the service to anyone if I can give them a zero star I would

This company is a joke. The dealership where I get my truck serviced called carshield with the repair estimate. They never called back and I had to call 10 days later to get anyone to do anything. Once they acknowledged that they received the call and quote they said a 3rd party would be out to verify the quote in 24 to 48 hrs. It has now been 96 hrs and no one is even scheduled to go over there. I have had to call and badger them every step of the way and all but one person has acted like I'm bothering them with all my calls and needing my car. Do not go with carshield or carchex, period.

Carshield blatenly advertises a false claim
That " You can take your vehicle to ANY ASE certified repair shop, of your choice"
But the truth ALMOST NO shop will work with carshield,.
I found this out thehard way when my vehicle that I had been paying Carshield $89/month for a warranty on broke down after paying coverage for almost 2 years.
No shop that I called would work with Carshield, and every shop gave me the same reason why, ALL said they do not pay thier repair invoices in a timely manner.
So basically Carshield is a useless warranty.

I called Carshield and they could only find ONE repair shop that they work with, 34 miles away, in a sketchy neighborhood in the city.
I have no idea of the quality of work that shop does, and did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle overnight, and definitely not several days in that neighborhood.
Not to mention the inconvenience of taking it over an hour away, when there are dozens of shops within 15 miles of where I live.
So I ended up taking it to a trusted local shop and paying out of pocket for the work.

Complete rip off, abd BLATENT FALSE ADVERTISING.
They should have more class action suits, abd Attorneys General of every state investigating this fraud if a warranty company.

Carshield is a total rip off! My g f had them for 2 years and they never paid for any repairs done to her truck they would always come up with an excuse why it wasn't covered or just ignore her completely..

Now this quote is on a 2020 dodge gran Caravan one previous owner it was a rental van for enterprise. So vehicle comes with enterprise certified 12months ******* miles power train warranty...and they sell same coverage $39.added to car payments x 36 months for 3 years ******* miles covers evrething... after I told car shield ware to go...they now keep calling me offering less so my advise don't ever take there first quote unless it's $1.00. But they are greedy. I can't belief ice t.and Rick flair are doing commercials if they aren't coperat greedy. On top made me feel like they races.

My mother is thr one who purchased this warranty. When you read all the things they cover and just that it sound slide a good deal. But beware it's not. They make you jump through hoops and mire hoops. We had to do the calling between shop and car shield to get the process even going.

We got approved for 2 hrs worth of work. Because they go by a national ase labor time for each part on each car. Do they don't care hoe long the mechanic days it will take they only pay UP TO what their stupid books says, to top it off after trying to figure out what the deal was why it wasn't covering all labor they have now called the mechanic and cut it from 2 hrs to.5 hour of labor.
You can't even change brakes that fast for the most part.

Mom learned her lesson. Just glad we aren't more then 90 days in. But we are out extra money for the 2 weeks we have had a rental car and hee car just sitting in the shop not yet fixed of course. Just ridiculous. How the BBB still let's them operate is beyond me.

Attention they will tell you that they will fix your car and then they will never do it to me they have ruined it and because of them I had to sell the car be careful because the reviews you see are all paid sites just pay and they will give you the excellent reviews if you go go ahead and see the truth because there are real review sites and they don't have so many stars Alessio Sundas

Dishonest and deceiving business intends, were clearly demonstrated by this warranty company. Stay away.

My service representative at my local Toyota dealership had cleared work to be done on my 2013 Camry. He had called into Car Shield twice to make sure the cost of the work would be covered. He was told to set the date for the repair, on that date he was to call in with the mileage and the date. When he called to give that data, he was informed that the parts and repairs on my vehicle would not be covered due to the fact that the parts had not 'failed'. Car Shields' definition of part failure was NOT defined in the contract we had been paying on for 3 years.
Failure, according to Car Shield, for this part, is defined as the deterioration of the bushing at the linkage connection at the end of the part. This bushing has absolutely no function aside from providing a cushion preventing the connecting parts from impacting each other during normal operations. The suspension part in question was no longer able to perform its primary function due to age and use (which is what we purchase Car Shield for in the first place).
So 'failure' as defined by pretty much the entire mechanical community - defined as the inability to perform a primary function - is not how Car Shield CHOOSES to define failure.
I escalated from the customer service representative to a supervisor who proceeded to insult my intelligence, by asking if I had read my contract agreement, even going so far as to tell me where to find the specific exclusions to repair coverage for the part in question. I responded by asking him if the part was non-functional, how could that not constitute operational failure. He had no answer.
I told him that we would be cancelling our coverage immediately.
A non-operational part is a failed part.
Do not insult your customers and expect to retain them.
DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE

I had car shield,when asked about the price.the gentleman said it stays the same price.eventually my bill was increased without notification. I called and spoke to another gentleman and he said it's because of your mileage,how did car shield know what my mileage was.car shield is a big rip off.I needed some work done to my car.the gentleman said we refund you after you pay for the work. I asked to cancel the policy,at first he kept talking over me several times.when I said sir I don't want this policy anymore.because carshoeld is a big scam. Shame on carshield.

Look on the CarShield mailing you received. There is no mailing address on it. They hide the place where they are doing business. Read the fine print in their mailing. CarShield does not of itself provide extended vehicle warranties. CarShield simply acts as a sales agent for other warranty companies. Do a "CarShield" internet search and the Better Business Bureau has many, many complaints on the company.

BEWARE OF CARSHIELD

I was told by many repair shops they do not deal with car shield. I'm better off paying out off pocket. I tried to get a refund from car shield just for the current month and they refuse.

My transmission went in my car. A Mazda cx9. I called car shield it was covered under the warranty. I found a car repair shop that accepted car shield insurance. And car repair shops don't particularly like working with car shield because they don't pay auto mechanics their normal rate, and trying to work with them was so difficult. The automative shop stated They kept asking for the same paperwork over and over that was already sent. And
Complaints about the length of time on the phone going back and forth with customer service with the adjuster. To make sure my claim was being reviewed, I called car shield every day for status, requested a supervisor and still they took their time. I NEVER talked to the adjuster. I would keave a message or send emails, no response back. I rented a car and never got reimbursed because they claimed the copy of the invoice I sent wasn't legible. I emailed a copy twice. No one bothered to call and tell me it wasn't legible. I finally gave up and canceled. I rented a car for 3 weeks. Car shield calculated they will pay for 2 days of rental fees at the rate of $40.00 a day. I paid for 2 years on the policy and I couldn't even get Rental fees reimbursed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Customer service not (Justin) argumentative when asked to cancel policy without giving him a reason. Second time calling to cancel policy. Very disappointing.

I have been a auto mechanic for 40 years car shield is terrible but not as bad as American Family Fraud Insurance company. Never do anything with either one of those companies tell your friends and family's
