Transmission went. Car shield paid 98% of the total cost of $6435.00 I pay $293.87 with my $100.00 deductible. Can't say enough about how good the service was.

Rep spoke clearly about options to consider and look into current policies.

After 3 years canceled because platinum coverage did not cover serpentine belt, didn't cover value gaskets and seals Subaru Outback 2015 because they weren't damaged by internal failures.

Have tried to use services 3 times and 3 times warranty repairs refused.

Messages that I received during the time I dealt with Car Shield I don't think their payments made it to Barclay's I called a couple of time to them and two other car dealers. They claimed they had not missed a payment. But I had a FINAL NOTICE two times when I personally paid the money for the payment. There were several salesman around but none seemed too enthusiastic to sell the car but I never talked to any but one and got a bigger storm..

The company personals made sure as a customer getting the business discusss well taken care of for my car under warranty fixed by certified repair shop and back on road for driving

Car shield is very reasonable in price! And ha great commercials

The Job was over 1100$ and I had to pay over 700$ because the repair shop couldn't use their suppliers parts. How do you expect them to warranty a job when they can't use parts they know works well.

It was ok, I didn't like the fact that I couldn't get a receipt for my cash but was given one for using my card.

For the first 25 days, you can not use it, and it's a 30 day cancelation. That way they can get another payment out of you. Commercial is misleading. My dealership does not use them because they will hold your car until they get paid by Carshield. Which can take a long time. The next 4 repair places no longer use them for the same reasons plus if Carshield does approve they send cheap parts. Misrepresentation. Check with shops you like before purchasing. They have a list but they may not be good. Commercial says any of your dealerships etc. Very convincing but not true.

I was very appreciative of this program Car Shield. They assist financially with further breakdowns of your vehicle. I would have paid more out-of-pocket expenses if I didn't have help from them.

Contacted customer service about service locations. I was able to call the facility before traveling to them. Was able to get all information needed to the repair facility, was able to provide service records to Car Shield to a provided email. Wasn't aware of parts policy and how that worked with the repair facility; was informed that I could choose to use the repair facility parts for an additional cost or I could wait 7-10 days for shipping of Car Shield provided parts. I chose car shield parts! I was able to track progress through Car Shield better than I could through the repair facility.

Nothing negative to report. I sold my car and no longer need coverage. Called customer service and they were able to help without making me jump through hoops. Took 5 minutes and they were courteous.

The representative was friendly, understanding and patient. She answered all my questions!
