My experience was terrible. I booked a reservation for pickup at the New Orleans airport. When my plane got in there was nobody at the Thrifty rental counter. Even though I had pre-paid the rental I had to rent another car with Avis because they were the only ones open. Additionally, there was an error in the rental which they were unwilling to correct because it was pre-paid. I'll never rent from them again!

Car rental 8 failed to notify me that the car rental company I used through them doesn't allow for out of state trips. I called them right after I booked, no one mentioned it. Then they blamed me for not noticing it in their fine print. Then Brenton (Supervisor) argued with me over a refund while he blamed me for the mishap. Will never go through them again.

I rented a car through Car Rental 8 that included "Plus your rental comes with Free Amendments" on the confirmation. When my airline changed the arrival time on my flight I asked them to modify the pickup time on the car rental to match the flight change. Instead of honoring their promise to make them modification for free, they said the fee would increase 200% to make the modification. When I protested they said they can change the prices "at any given time."

By far the best rental service provider I have ever used in my life. Their prices are affordable and never overcharges, always fair. I always use them if I am in need of a vehicle to rent when travelling to different states. Thank you
DONT RECOMMEND! They don't take responsibility for making sure your booking is actually confirmed with the car provider. I booked with car rental 8 and they confirmed a car would be waiting for me in Barcelona with Europcar, and when I arrived to Barcelona, Europcar said there was no car available due to holidays and that because I booked with car rental 8, they would not find any car. When I called customer support from car rental 8 they said they could not do anything, and that I would have to book last minute in the airport with another provider, which ended up costing me 2x the price.
Also, it's been almost a week and they still have not confirmed they will refund, and instead just ask questions over email. It's insane they 1) did not provide the car, 2) did not help when the issue happened, and 3) are not refunding.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They overcharged me and when my flight got pushed up by several hours I was told the car would no longer be available and they would have to charge me $150 more (for a 4 day rental). When I went to cancel the reservation I was charged $75. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Do not buy the insurance its a CON and when you sign paperwork from rental company be SURE to check the insurance you paid for at carrental8.com is listed because they will charge you TWICE for the same insurance and you ll have to pay both BE CAREFUL!Review based on recent rental 10-12 to the 16th in Dnver CO.
